I'm going to preface this by mentioning I never ended up having the work completed, but my…read moreexperience with this company was not pleasant in the end. I called and hired this company, I dealt with Earl, to power wash my two family vinyl sided house. We scheduled a date and he even called a couple days before to confirm which was nice and professional. We discussed having he tenants move things away from the house that could be damaged by the bleach solution they use to clean the siding. I understood, and instructed my tenants to move objects away from the house for the scheduled date. I arrange for someone to meet Earl there to pay him and expect all to go pretty smoothly, and have a clean house after the day is done. The day comes and Earl arrives at 8 to my house (I am not there.) He calls me twice, and leaves me text messages telling me I wasted his time before "nothing was ready." I didn't know what he meant. I had been asleep because I had to work that day I had told my tenants to move things out of his way and close the windows. I ask for clarification and he responds with long, nonsensical messages about how a car was in the way and half the windows are open, "there was no one there to greet him", and none of the tenants are answering the door. I don't really see these things as a problem, knock on the door and ask them to move the car, close the window, whatever else. This didn't work for him. So he leaves, angrily telling me I wasted his time and to not call him again. Ok, I won't. I text my tenants and they respond promptly. They tell me he left because one window was open and the garbage bins were against the house and that he never knocked on the door. Earl, if you had been more patient you would have went home with some hard earned money. Instead I'm just going to pay someone else to do it, and you wouldn't have gotten this review. Update: I had another company charge me much less to do the same job, and It was the same scenario. They did not make a huge deal about not being "greeted" or about having a trash can in their way. Don't know what happened to Earl that day, but I've never ever hired someone to do a simple job and had to meet them promptly to "greet" them.

We were looking for a company to pressure wash our house…read more Some of the companies we reached out to never returned our calls, while others came out to quote and either wanted to be paid in cash or were not competitively priced. On the list was East Bay Pressure Wash located in Warren RI. They came out quickly and gave us an extremely competitive quote, told us what their services would entail and even was able to take care of some moss we had growing on our garage roof. At the time, they were running a special for 10% off and even though we didn't have the coupon from the reporter, offered us the discount. It was about a three week wait to have the house done, but they arrived on time and got started promptly. Midway through, the sky opened up, and it began to pour. Thankfully, the rain was not a deterrent and as soon as the rain slowed down, they resumed the cleaning. I would say all in all it took no more than two hours to complete the job and the house looks amazing! We would highly recommend East Bay Pressure Wash if you are looking for a professional and reliable company to take care of cleaning the outside of your house. Greg and his team were prompt, did exactly what they said they would, easy to reach and delivered on all accounts.

I hired them to paint the exterior of my home, all trim, windows and doors, foundation, included in the contract. They finished the work late one night and promised to return for our inspection and a touch up. I tried to reach them for 5 weeks after that promise and never heard back. The job is not complete, and they do not stand by their work. Overall, I'm probably a 3 out of 5 happy with the job as is; taking away an additional star for ghosting me, and another for the weird stuff mentioned in the next paragraph. We have see areas they missed or skipped, dropped paint where it didn't belong, one coat where there should have been 2.. etc.. I didn't get on a ladder to fully inspect the roof trim but imagine it needs another coat. We only had a few windows with full trim that were in the contract to be painted, and they didn't even touch them. The job is maybe 70% done. I stupidly paid the contract because I trusted what David said. Learn from my mistake. A few odd things happened while they were here that I may not otherwise mention but given the overall lack of professionalism, I do think others deserve to hear. 1. Supplies were stored in my shed, which I never gave permission to enter. It's not a problem but seems strange you'd open a door at a client's house without discussion. 2. With that, I was out of the house for a few hours one day; I set the alarm but left the front door unlocked in case they wanted to paint it while I was out. Thinking they'd certainly call before entering my house, this seemed logical. Nope, they opened the door without contact and set off the alarm. Again, no prior discussion. 3. Aggressively tried to sell me on additional carpentry after I repeatedly said no. Somehow, each time I said no, the project changed a little bit but the price remained the same. David did mention to me that he grew up in the area and so a lot of friends recommend him. I thought this was a good thing, but I now know it falsely reflects his company's reputation. As I said in my last message to David, no hard feelings, if his company is willing to return to remedy the situation and complete the contract, I am happy to edit my review. I am not writing this out of malice but so others do not land in the frustrating situation we are in now.
