We cannot thank Lou enough, he mad an extremely stressful and uncertain situation much less stresful. Lou continuolsy reassured us, that as bad as it was/looked, he would get it cleaned up so we can start the fix. There were times I thought they would just give up, as it was literally like something out of a movie. Multiple contractors and engineers told us they have never seen anything like it in thier lives. We are in the drying and anti mold phase, Lou reassured us he would be back regularly to monitor and treat as needed. Lou explained everything each step along the way, and why he had to do certain things. It ended up being a much bigger project than he expected, but he honored the quoted price. Avoid the big guys with the fancy trucks, Lou and his guys will run circles around them.

This company deserves a huge "ZERO rating for the reasons stated below…read more In addition to breaching our contract, Diamond Painting did a very unprofessional remodel and paint job on the interior of my home. Furniture was damaged and nothing was spared from paint spatter. In addition, Diamond Painting is not skilled to do finish carpentry. Improper cuts were made on all moldings and improper hinge placement cutouts were made on all new doors. Some hinges were installed upside down with the center pin positioned in the wrong direction. Miter cuts were not made where crown moldings were joined together in the middle of the wall. Rather, the blunt ends of the crown molding were butted up against each other and gobs of putty or caulking used to fill in the gaps. Diamond Painting got paint all over my hardwood floors, door hardware, bedding, window coverings and furniture. They used a solvent to remove paint from my Italian leather sofas causing the leather to become discolored. lt will require a leather professional to re-dye the leather in those spots. Nothing was spared from paint splatters. None of the walls or woodwork were prepped or sanded prior to painting. They used the wrong saw blade to cut all of the woodwork leaving the ends of the woodwork very ragged. They got paint all over the door handles, hinges and strikers. They failed to paint all six sides of all interior doors. Hinge locations on all doors were improperly cut and installed causing the doors to spring open and/or not shut properly. One door has already ripped on the face side of the door below the upper hinge. The first door hung was hung upside down and had to replaced because the hinge cuts were now on the wrong side of the door edge. Some doors were hung with the beveled edge facing the opposite side of the door stop. They failed to cover or protect my furniture from paint and/or flying debris from the demolition of the kitchen island and cabinet located over the refrigerator. As a result, my brand new refrigerator door was dented. After removal of a three piece medicine cabinet in my hall bathroom, the walls were painted but the wall where the cabinet was removed from was left with big holes and not repaired. In bathroom #2, a crack in the ceiling was painted over without repairing it first. The living room ceiling has many dry paint roller tracks. Also, the cut in paint around the outer most edges of the living room ceiling appears to not match the rest of the ceiling. Along the ceiling edges, several central AC ceiling registers were installed backwards, i.e., air flow was directed toward the wall instead of out into the room; one vent was simply left lying on the floor in the den. This entire project turned out to be a nightmare! I've been sickened by all this as well as the loss of thousands of dollars. To date, they refuse to respond to any of my communications. Everything they did must be torn down and thrown away. Diamond Painting has already been violated by the State Contractor's Board as a result of this project. I'm writing this review in an effort to warn the public at large to take extreme care in choosing a qualified and professional contractor; one with a good track record of excellent work, honest work ethic, have excellent references and won't rip you off. I'd be more than happy to remove this review and other public reviews if Diamond Painting and Home Improvement does the right thing. It would be in their best business interest to do so.
