I have been coming back here for a couple years now. I first got a plum tree from here that I won…read moreat a Rotary of Park Forest auction. The tree was healthy and pretty big. They gave me recommendations on watering and planting. When I followed those, the tree turned out great and my kids love eating the plums every summer. I recently went back for a couple Bald Cypress trees. They had plenty in stock. (Even if they didn't they have always ordered and received the plants in short time.). The trees are doing well The owners are ready to help and the customer service is great. They know their plants and will give you suggestions based on shade, no shade, soil type and proper planting. They even went the extra mile to help me secure the plants in my car and wrap the pot, so dirt didn't get on the inside of my car. Driving a car with three full plants inside was interesting. But I didn't take the option for them to deliver.

I contacted him in the fall to make sure my mother was still apart of his snow route this year. He told me yes. He hasn't showed up not once this winter. I've called and texted. Now he doesn't answer my calls, return my calls or reply to my texts. Funny how my negative review finally gets a response. He's never emailed me. Why not just answer my calls or texts and just tell me.

A new issue arose at my business this year so I called Oak Ridge Fence & Gate to see if they could assist because I was happy with their work that was done last year. When I called this time, I got Julie on the phone and she requested that we send her photos of the damage via text to which we did as she had requested. My assistant had a conversation with Julie and Julie told her that someone would be out at my business later that day or the following day to look at it in person and give us a quote for repairs. No one ever showed up. No one ever called and Julie never even confirmed she received the texted pictures. So since we heard nothing, we called Julie to follow up and to confirm whether or not she received the text/pictures. She was rambling on about the company moving locations or something like and that they would break more boards trying to repair the job and she eventually declined our job in a very unprofessional way, in our opinion. It sounded more like she had no clue on how to properly fix our problem. We feel in the very least Julie or a representative from Oak Ridge Fence & Gate could have acknowledged us or responded to the text we sent her per her request. We got nothing. No calls, no response, no one showed up. We found this to be highly unprofessional and we don't want to work with a company or a team who lacks communication skills.

They were transparent, reliable, and kind and I will continue to recommend them.
