I've been here several times. It's actually a thrift shop that sells a variety of inventory. They watched anime and weird shows that swore. They never greeted me, never asked if I needed help with anything, etc. (which will definitely affect the chances of me buying something). Nothing was organized or cleaned. It was like walking through a dump that smelled vaguely of stale cigarettes. Everything was dirty and it was obvious that they hadn't cleaned anything. Glad it's closed, there's nicer thrift stores out there and I'm definitely willing to drive the distance.

H&B Trading Post is the perfect place to grab a few Yellowstone, Buffalo Bill, and/or Wyoming…read moresouvenirs if you're in the Cody, WY vicinity. I came in here to ask for a Cody downtown area map and ended up carrying on a conversation with the super friendly employees, glancing at their large store FULL of local arts and souvenirs and buying a few knick-knacks. Unlike other businesses in the area, they allowed me to take a picture of the renowned Jackalopes they had hanging on the wall for sale. If you're asking what a Jackalope is, well today's your lucky day. It's an imaginary Wild West animal of folklore and a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope (or goat or deer) which is usually portrayed as a rabbit with antlers. H&B has 'em for sale if that's what you're "hunting" out during your Wild West ventures. --See a picture of one under the business listings-- Also what's unique is that the owners of H&B get to know, firsthand, the artists, craftsmen and people who created the unique and special works of art that they sell to the public. Again, they have everything from buffalo heads, clothing, dolls, dreamcatchers, drums, jewelry, pottery, and more! With all that said, "May the sound of the flute play in your hearts as you enter each day" (as their website reads).

But I'm not, so I instead witnessed my friend go through the inventory in detail, noting she found things she's not seen anywhere else. Like a kid in a candy store. If there's a happy place for a scrapbooker, she might have found it here. Scrapbook supplies are not the only things sold here of course, there are t-shirts for decorating with decals, rhinestones, glitter or for transferring designs to embellish later. Treasured memories is also a matting/frame shop for custom framing. They have as large a collection as I think you can get for a store of this size. I think the owners will also transfer your photos, or home movies, or cassette tapes onto digital media. In other words, if this kind of "art" is your deal, then stop here. As much as ordering online is convenient, there's nothing like a tactile experience and supporting a small business is the best way to get the inside deals.
