"this one is too small, this one is too hard, this one is too soft," .... my husband, who so graciously offered to take her to not just one showroom, but two, described the adventure. Everyone in the Lovell location also met my mom looking for that perfect recliner. They were all "too big or too hard, or not the right color." On their Cody adventure, she found the Perfect One!! Sat in it, loved it, and would have fallen asleep in it if they would have let her. Awesome, the Haskell Crew loaded up a Brand New one 'still in the box' for my husband to bring over to Powell a couple days later. Although my husband was excited to see the brand new one 'still in the box', my mom was not. She wanted the one she sat in. She tried the new one for one night. Once the Haskell Crew were aware of her unhappiness, they very graciously took care of it, immediately ... even calling in the delivery crew. We have lived in Powell since 1990. Haskell Furniture has been a staple in our house. We've always known great things about them and that they are more than just our local furniture store, they are also our friends and neighbors. However, it was very expensive and looking around their store for other items I need for the house, I notice the higher prices, even on sale. The sales associate told me that they were lower in prices than other stores, but I didn't find that to be the case. They get a 4-star rating because the service is good, the inventory is really nice, but their pricing is quite high.

A large grove of aspens, divided by the trail, greet you on the hike and the wind whispering thru the leaves is a bit of heaven. What might set them apart is the quality of the items they sell. Everything I saw was well-cared for. It's not a junk store but because of the number of things they have here, it can look junky. I'm sure there's a method to how the store is laid out, but some sections blur the lines and that means you really will be on a treasure hunt. It doesn't matter though because it's a fun store to browse. It's cash-only business, so that helps keep costs under control, but does require planning if your preference is using plastic to buy. The employees are very nice and will give you tidbits of information or background on some of the things you purchase.
