After being on the waitlist for about 6 weeks, my son started in the Infant B classroom. His teachers Ms. Demica and Ms. Lily have been absolutely wonderful. He always smiles when he sees Ms. Demica and goes right into her arms. And there's no doubt in my mind that Ms. Lily was put on this earth to work with children. They're amazing teachers! Anytime I drop by, my son is kept clean and always looks well cared for. The facility is tidy and the classroom is so spacious, allowing plenty of room to crawl around and play. They do outside time when the weather is nice too. Also, I really enjoy the photos they send us through the app. Kids can be sensitive to change. When we switched daycares, of course my son was confused and upset at drop off. Ms. Lily in Infant B went above and beyond that day, taking extra care of my crying son and sending us many, many photos on that first day, and it really eased our anxious minds! My son fully adjusted in about 1.5 weeks. And finally, I love that OWM has theme days and events for the children and parents to enjoy! Keep up the great work, OWM!

I saw young children walking…read morein perfect single file in the hallway toward the playground keeping their hands to themselves and behaving wonderfully. I remember wondering how kids so young could be so well behaved willingly! What was their secret?! I liked the beautiful colorful facility and class rooms, lovely playground outside as well as an indoor gym facility for when the weather doesn't cooperate! My two children began attending here since infancy about 5 years ago. Both kids were always offered a great routine and structure, education that far exceeds what my friends' children seem to be getting, and plenty of attention. I pay a very fair tuition and in return I have happy, healthy, well behaved sweet brilliant children. A few years ago during my divorce the school paid special attention to the kids and had several meetings with their mother and I that helped keep focus on the welfare of the kids and their condition during a tumultuous time for the little ones. The teachers and Mrs. Jodi noticed things that were really helpful and frankly they kept us in line when we needed it. Since the divorce and current split-custody, my kids have become off and on students here and are currently enrolled, and they absolutely love it! This school took enough interest in the well-being of my children that Mrs. Jodi even attended my custody hearings in court on 2 separate occasions to give an accounting of their experience with the children and both of us parents during the divorce. It really meant a lot and helped the kids. She wouldn't have bothered if they weren't so concerned for their students. All that aside, I find the facility to be fantastic, clean and a very happy place for young children. I am pleased that they have a lovey diversity of students and faculty. The schedule is terrific and I model our home life after the structure and stimulating curriculum the kids receive here. I am grateful for how well behaved and smart my children are. They have been diligent about picking up after themselves and keeping things tidy since they were toddlers and I just think the practices they have learned at this daycare are really impressive.

The school year wasn't even close to starting! For a not-for-profit this is a fairly shameful business practice and a terrible moral example to our children. After I explained my position to the (at least right now current) head Brian he looked me in the eye and agreed the tuition fee refund I was asking for was fair - to which he then sent an email days later rescinding this and denying me a refund. Shady beyond belief. For these reasons I would not recommend sending your child to IST.

The teachers are engaged and really focus on well rounded goals. We switched mid year from a disappointing experience at public school and can't even compare the two as it's night and day experience. I also love that every single person on campus from teachers to admin know our whole families names and help us feel so welcome and loved. I'm so grateful this curriculum exists and look forward to many wonderful years ahead.

They claim to be Montessori yet don't allow for individuality and zero imaginary/free play ( if you tour the school notice the toys don't include dolls, animals, kitchen set, cars). I was concerned because my 20 month old wasn't adjusting (after a couple of weeks of being at their facility). I approached the administrator, Suma, in regards to this issue and said she'd "observe and speak with her teachers". In sum, in the middle of the front desk she went on and said my 20 month old "is a whiner and loner because she doesn't play with other children" and I should speak to a doctor about it. Anyone who has basic knowledge in developmental milestones should know that children BEGIN to play the together at the age of 2 and it is normal for them to play alone/parallel play. Suma also said that if my daughter doesn't nap we'd have to pick her up, I said that wasn't option because I had to work she responded by saying "well, then you have to make a choice on what's more important to you". When I went to pick up my daughter that day, the teachers confessed that Suma "only watched my daughter play for 2 minutes and ran with it" they were deeply apologetic and told me Suma was wrong. As I was leaving, I saw Suma eavesdropping on our conversation. She clearly runs they place as a dictatorship and labels children without any backing. Even though I had the paid the month in full, I dissnerolled my daughter from this school and placed her in Prodigy. I could not be any happier with my choice! All I can say is RUN! There are much better schools out there that will allow children to be children and treat you and your family with the respect and patience you deserve.

They named themselves as nut- free facility, but they don't accept enrollment of children with multiple food allergies. I enrolled my son to Parmer Children's Montessori Pre-School, and after two meetings with the daycare center including an email explaining his allergies issue (he is allergic to egg, milk, lentils, tomato, kiwi, and strawberry) they told only on his first day at the daycare that they can't accept him in there due his allergies issue. Mrs. Jodi specifically said my son's condition would create high liability for them and investors wouldn't like that! After this event happened to me, I checked on the DFPS site another complaint that a child was left unsupervised in the bathroom for approximately 2 hours. I wonder how was that even possible and what irresponsibility. Here is the website: https://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child_Care/CCLNET/Source/Provider/ppComplianceHistory.aspx?fid=737009&tab=2 I do not recommend this daycare at all and I appreciate other parents to read this review and really consider not enrolling their child in a place that ignores ADA and its anti-discrimination protection and left children unattended for long periods of time.
