The two ladies at the front were very informative on what the grooming includes for $45.00. The manager allowed me to take a peek into the grooming room to watch a session in progress. The dog was leashed to the stainless steel table as the groomer was blowing out his thick hair. The dog did not appear in distress and the room appeared clean. The gallery of doggie outfits were so cute including a tuxedo that my wife drooled over and chuckled.

We were told that our dog would be ready in about 3 hours or so which was fine because we were running around. When it was time to pick up our dog, my husband was leery about how his "little boy" would look and was so happy when he saw him. He looked sooo cute with his tie and he was VERY soft! The cleanliness was just wonderful. We were taught how to gently handle the kittens so that we and the kittens would be at ease and safe. We learned so much about different breeds. The girls fell in love with the gentleness and playfulness of the kittens. This was an experience they will never forget. I have purchased two cats from happy paws. My first experience was great. I had a healthy cat…read more(bengal) and I loved that all the cats were able to socialize and hang out. The second time I went to purchase a cat, I noticed they were all in their own cages, and I asked if they are are always like that and they said they only let one out at a time for about 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, I bought my second bengal from here. They said she had a bad reaction to her vaccine so I couldn't pick her up because they needed to monitor her. That was on March 1st, I ended up picking her up 11 days later and she was still throwing up and having diarrhea so I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with FIP coronavirus and Giardia. I told them that she is still sick and I have Another cat at home. I took her to the vet because she was extremely sick and they told me that it was my fault and it could possibly be a toxic plant. I had at home even though I have a healthy cat at home And they admitted to me that she was not feeling well after her vaccines. It turns out it was not for reaction to her vaccines. It was Giardia FIP and coronavirus. I have been spending $3000 on a cat. I immediately got hit with a $1200 vet bill and a sick kitten that I had to nerve back to life. She was on medicine three times a day and she was extremely underweight. It was extremely stressful. I also found out that they put the kittens in cargo and shipped them from Ukraine, which I think is extremely unethical. Most animal foundations do not let their animals go into cargo cause it is extremely unsafe for them. I wish they would've just given me her from the beginning and I would've helped her get better soon sooner rather than letting her sit in a cage sick for weeks. They won't help with the vet bill. They're putting the blame on me. Even though I could tell something was up with seeing how all of the cats were separated all of a sudden And they admitted that she was not feeling well. They said she has a housemate at the time and I'm really hoping they took her to the vet. When I went to go meet her the first time they didn't let me pick her up because she was feeling unwell and they've had to wash diarrhea off of her. She's five months old and 4 pounds. The vet that "cleared" her didn't document her weight on her health certificate and did not mark her as underweight even though I called them and she was only 1.9 pounds. I'm not sure how they even were able to get her neutered When the requirement for neutering a kitten is 2 pounds. This place is extremely unethical and they will gaslight you saying that the sick kitten is your problem because they don't wanna pay for it and they need to be shut down immediately.

Very caring and thorough and truly loves your fur babies like her own. We've been a customer of Carmen's for 6-7 years now and consider her a member of our family. After getting a strong referral to them, had my first appointment today. I was very specific with…read morethe groomer about not cutting my dog's hair low. I even gave her an example of a dog she grooms on my same street and told her not to give him the same haircut. Lo and behold, she basically gave my Maltese a buzz cut, where the pink of his skin is visible from 3 feet away. Not only was it not what I asked for, but a groomer should be knowledgeable enough to understand that a dog's hair protects the skin from irritants, scratches, and helps regulate his body temperature. His hair was a bit tangled (not matted) on his chest, and she felt that the only way to make the cut even around his body was to shave his entire body off. I wish she at least told me that she was not going to spend the time to comb out the tangled hair or that she couldn't do the job, rather than cutting his hair so low. Over the years I've dealt with groomers who spent the time to remove tangles. She also did a botched haircut job around his feet and didn't even shape the hair around his foot. This has been absolutely the worst haircut my dog has ever gotten in eight years - even worse than when I've done it myself. I will NEVER use this groomer again as she only knows one way and that is to shave everything extremely low. If that's all you need, then you will have no issues. If you're looking for actual grooming skills, look elsewhere. I have no doubt that other groomers working for this company do a great job from the looks of photos and reviews. But the groomer I saw was NOT DARWIN as mentioned in other reviews but unfortunately the groomer I saw represents the company so the rating has to be given to the company.
