Jazmin was so patient and helpful! She made sure I got the rent special, so I was thrilled! I came by multiple times with different family members and she showed us around and probably answered the same questions over & over. She also helped me measure one of the garages. I came by late at night to ensure there were no problems- you can tell this place is built well and cared for and is in an amazing neighborhood. I'm loving it here! read more

I've been here for about 5 months and love it. Moving in was painless, the staff was helpful and friendly. My new apartment was spotless and ready for move in! The maintenance people are always driving around making sure the grounds are clean. There does seem to be an issue with people being lazy and not picking up dog crap. the management has addressed it... and not much that can be done after hours. Not everyone cares about where they live. The gym is nice clean, during the summer the pool was wonderful. read more

I would not advise anyone to live here. The staff are fickle, condesending, immature, and rude. The way they handle things is the most unprofessional I have experienced. The apartments are overpriced for the quality. You can rent a place is Issaquah with hardwood floors, granite, and fireplace for the same price. The interiors here are cheap and disgusting. They never clean the outside. I have to sweep my own pateo and clean the bird crap off the outside windows. I have black mold in the walls of my master bathroom because all the water from outside drains down the hill and the grass near my apartment is like soggy mush. We had a wind storm and the wind blew a pateo pillow and grill cover right off my pateo. They threw it away instead of having courtesy. The neighbors upstairs are loud. Its not really their fault but the walls and floors are cheaply built and you can hear everything. I parked in a vacant covered spot for 15 minutes to offload some heavy groceries and got a call to move within minutes. This is how bored they are. I also believe the office takes pleasure is harassing residents over petty things. They do not handle anything professionally or give anything any thought One of their staff members constantly gives my 11 year old dirty looks when she is outside playing. There was vomit in the common sidewalk near my building for weeks. The rain had to wash it away. My daughter used the gym restroom with another resident friend, and 3 other friends. Two of them male. I agree the males had no business in the womens restroom but a crazed lunatic resident chased them out to parking lot and went totally psycho on them. Now my daughter cant even use the gym. It was a dumb teenage thing to do but a one time occurence and one of the boys smelled like pot so the resident lost her mind and lied about all of them to the office. Now there are two teenage girls living at Fourlakes who's parents pay a hefty rent but cannot use the gym. All 5 of the kids said this lady resident went absolutely psycho chasing them and yelling at the top of her lungs and threatening them all the way to the actual parking lot. read more

RENTERS BEWARE!!! My husband and I have lived here for 8 years now with most of our time very positive. This complex is quiet, well maintained, in a very nice area and most importantly we feel safe here. We had no plans to leave until last year when we were given a rent increase of $368.00. I must note that Four Lakes did not raise our rent during the pandemic, and we were so incredibly grateful for this. The upcoming increase did start a conversation and then the active search to find a new home, but of course rents have increased everywhere, forcing us to stay put. After finding ways to afford this new rent we were feeling relieved only for that relief to be taken away 2 days ago. We now have been given the news that our rent for next year will increase by $400.00 if we sign a 12 month lease. The news was more than I could bear, I broke down in tears. This is the treatment we are receiving for being really good tenants. The thought of us now making a mortgage sized payment on a two bedroom apartment is absolutely SICKENING!!! The units here are very basic no fireplaces, no laminate floors, no stainless steel appliances. I am only left to believe that high turn over must be profitable for these GREEDY property owners. After reading all the reviews about this place it looks as though our treatment when we exit is going to be even more financially painful. read more

At first glance out of the apartments in Lakeland Hill Four lakes seem like one of the best but unfortunately that is not the case. Since move in we had the worst experience with the apartment and management staff. Some of the items that made our experience unfortunate are the following: Our internet did not work due to a wiring issue within their building and it took more than 6 times to have Comcast come out and put notices on the correct doors we ended up moving out before it could even be fixed. There was absolutely NO parking. My mother was in the hospital and whenever I came home after visiting at about 10/12pm at night there was no parking in the ENTIRE complex, I literally mean you would have to park at Haggens if you didn't want to get towed or get a fine on your window. When we brought this to their attention (as there was over 5 motorcycles broken down and parked in various spots that could have all fit in one location) they stated the were overcapacity. Literally weren't under proper code for how many people they had living and parking. In the end we broke our lease because of this because I wasn't having my car towed due to their inability to provide proper parking. Which I paid $1400 a month to have. You could never get the correct information out of the management staff. All I can say is GET IT IN WRITING. They would tell you one thing in the office and do a completely different. They send you to collection after 1 day and their collection company is Vicious. I have never been late on payments or sent to a collection company and their collection company Genesis calls NON STOP. To the point we had to threaten a cease and desist letter because they would not stop calling and being vulgar. if you live here GOOD LUCK. I highly DO NOT recommend it! read more

These are defiantly not "Luxury Apartment" way over priced, dilapidated buildings and the management is a nightmare to deal with. After you live here for a year they will jack your rent way up!!! No parking anywhere! loud, dirty neighbors, trash dumpster is always over filled which the management doesn't do any about. I would recommend steering clear form this place. read more

Four Lakes Apartment Homes - Apartments Near Me - Auburn, Washington

I've lived here for 2 months and the leasing staff and maintenance employees are professional, friendly, and prompt to respond to any issues. After about a month of residing in my apartment, the new paint smell and carpet cleaning smell had worn off I started noticing animal smells from the previous tenant. I notified the leasing office and they sent someone out immediately to treat and clean the carpet. The smells were still noticeable after the cleaning. I went ahead and notified them again and they were quick to work with me to resolve the issue. They are sending the cleaning staff out again today to try other cleaning options. My guess is that the tenants before may not have notified the leasing office they had pets. I will update this review if necessary! Apartment complex is well maintained and very pleasant to reside in. It is located walking distance from Haggen's, several decent restaurants, and a couple of coffee shops. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. read more

My family and I moved here for my husband's job so the apartment was always meant to be temporary. We lived in a 2 bedroom for a year. We were a family of a 5 with a small dog. We had the initial deposit and the additional pet deposit. Honestly moving out, I was so stressed because of all of the negative reviews I read. We actually got most of our deposit back and here is what I did..... upon moving out, I went to maintenance and got touch up paint and touched up the entire apartment...any little thing..I touched it up. I also hired THEIR carpet cleaner...and this is where a lot of people get pissed. They will hire a cheap carpet cleaner and Four Lakes is going to hire their own anyway....I spoke with the owner and there is a different process he uses to turn over an apartment so the cleaning he does is not a basic clean..also if you have a pet there is extra that is involved because all of these units are rented out with our without the prior tenant having a pet. The goal is for the new tenant not to notice. I paid the carpet cleaner directly the day of our walk through and he signed off on it and gave me a receipt, which I then turned over to management. His price is cheaper than what management tries to charge you. Also...you're going to have cleaning taken out of your deposit. Sorry, but I would rather rent an apartment after it has been professionally cleaned...that's just the way it is so everyone complaining that they cleaned the apartment but Four Lakes had it cleaned anyways...it makes perfect sense. If you're going to rent an apartment you need to go in there expecting to not get the deposit back...you just need to hope you wont owe anything additional. The management SUCKS...any positive reviews you see from the summer of 2017 to the fall or end of the year are BS. The management was getting numerous complaint from tenants and we were going straight to Corporate that they were trying to buy or bribe positive reviews...which I believe is against YELP guidelines. They sent out a notice that if we left a review on google or YELP then we would be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card....they never said leave a positive review, but do you really think they would choose a negative one? It is WAY too expensive to live at Four Lakes and the interior has never been updated. For a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment we were spending over $2000 a month. (We did have a garage/1 covered parking/pet rent). BTW...your water and sewage bill is insane. They were price gauging us and last year, water for a 2 br was $200 on average. 1br nearly $100....A MONTH. Some of us are supposed to be getting refunds from the water company but who knows if that would actually happen. Tarragon knew the water was off but of course doesnt care. The management is terrible in my opinion...no communication and there is a high turn over rate.. In the year I lived there I have seen 11 DIFFERENT faces. Maintenance is amazing..the guys are really nice and wonderful..literally no complaints there. The trash is another situation. It is constantly over flowing...for as much as we pay to live there, they need to either have the trash come more than once a week OR get another dumpster. We were more than prepared to renew our lease again, however when we were given our renewal notice they wanted to raise our rent by $200!!!! Management tried to blame it on the market but that's BS. Tarragon appears to not care about keeping tenants. We found a beautiful home to rent in Lakeland Hills for about the same. I just looked online and they are offering our apartment for $4 more than what our original lease was! They could have done that form the get go and had an occupied apartment for another year...but NO. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere....it's not worth the hassle read more

Four Lakes Apartments is a fantastic place to live. The staff is so friendly and the premises is well maintained. The pool is lovely. They now offer Parcel Pending so you can pick up your packages anytime, day or night. The entire premises is smoke free. I lived in E106, and loved it. There's no one behind you, a ton of parking lot thanks to the lot between building E & F, and it's very quite. The leasing staff is extraordinary and goes above and beyond to resolve any maintenance issues. Very highly recommend living here. read more

I have lived here since before the entire property was completed. In that time there have been several management turnovers. They are generally unresponsive, do not return calls, and it takes multiple phone calls before any maintenance issue is addressed (toilet running, doors that won't close). Noise complaints are completely ignored. Dogs barking at all hours of the day and night. Even though there are "supposedly" strict rules about the number of tenants in a unit, there are many apartments with many children and adults. The grounds are well kept - unless you look closer and notice dog poop all over the grounds. This place should be priced to avoid so many of the issues which less expensive apartment homes have, however with a lack of responsive and consistent management this has not been the case. read more

I am a current resident and feeling incredibly uncomfortable living here. I am also a young female adult and picked this property because I liked that it offered security with the gates, it was non smoking and to use most of the amenities you have to have a card to get in. On 2/17 while using the gym, I found 6 young adult/teenagers using the woman's restroom as their hangout spot. It smelled of smoke, there was trash everywhere and two of the kids were locked in the back stall together. I asked them poliently to leave as I needed to use the restroom and two of the kids were boys. As they left one of the boys became agitated with me. He grabbed his crouch and yelled "well if I had a V***na then you wouldn't be saying I couldn't be in here." He then got into my face, inches away and told me I was "lucky" I was a girl and that I should hit him first to see what would happen. I was in utter shock and disbelief that a young man was getting into my face saying vial things and threatening me. I have reached out to my management and will update this post once I have spoken to them. If they have no solution to this problem and altercation I was in then my rating will not change. I pay way to much money in rent to live in a community where I now feel unsafe and uncomfortable even using the gym or taking my dog out. Just inexcusable read more

The apartments are very nice, however there is very little in the sense of community. I believe management hands are tied in many situations. Granted it's a business but they treat you like a business. I would not ever recommend this as a place to call home. read more

I lived there for a year and at first it was great. Shortly thereafter, there were issues with smoking (it is supposed to be a smoke free community). When I complained, they said it was my responsibility to identify who was smoking. It is a pet friendly community which is excellent, but tenants allow their dogs to poop and pee on their patios and balconies then leave bags of trash and feces in common areas and on porches. They also use the grass outside first floor apartments and do not clean up after their pets. Management does not do anything about this. It wreaks of urine and feces and there is feces tracked up the common stair ways. Also, there are breed restrictions that are not enforced also so don't sign a lease with the expectation that the environment will be smoke free or free of dangerous dogs and disgusting unsanitary conditions. read more

This place is a nightmare. My husband and I lived here for 1.5 years and we couldn't wait to get out to the point we actually moved out early. Any positive review about this place is most likely written by people that were told they would get something/entered into a drawing if they did BY Four Lakes. Neighbors: the walls are extremely thin. I can hear my neighbors talking, screaming, howling, and doing whatever they're doing over there. We were on the 2nd floor so we had the joy of hearing domestic disputes below us and then people stomping like crazy above us. We got really lucky when college kids moved in next door and partied constantly. Dogs are constantly barking as they leave them outside on their porches. I also really enjoyed waking up at all hours to people revving their engines and peeling out. Overall Property: it is disgusting--no one picks up after their pets. The garbage area is always overflowing. There were many times when I couldn't even recycle because it was so full. There are many apartment buildings and just one trash drop off area. Also for a smoke free community I constantly see cigarette butts everywhere. The property itself sits in an area where there is constant noise with people racing up and down Sumner Lake Tapps Rd. Good luck sleeping. Management: the property management is a joke and their communication could not be worse. When we first moved in we got a pounding on our front door two days into our lease right after we woke up and they demanded to come in to inspect the fire alarms. Apparently a notice had gone out prior but since we just moved in we weren't informed. I explained to them we never received the notice but they did not care and came in anyways. Thankfully I had clothes on as I just woke up. Anytime I e-mail Four Lakes I never get a response until days later. Cost: My rent in just a year went from $1,309 to $1442 which I feel is absurd. There was the same layout being offered but less expensive to people who were just moving in which to me seems like they don't care about the residents that stay with them. The water/sewer/garbage you get charged for is a complete rip off through the apartment complex. Our apartment was vacant with no one living in there for two months and we still received a $100.00 water/sewage/garbage bill. Moving out: If you move here don't hold your breath that you'll get your deposit of $500.00 back. After they swindled that money from us they had the nerve to charge us an extra $201.52 for cleaning and carpet cleaning with pet treatment. I did a walk through with a member of the Four Lakes staff to see what damages, if any, we would be charged for. There was only one piece of damage they pointed out which I fully owned up to but besides that they said everything looked great. I was even asked if I hung anything up on the walls because she couldn't even tell. My husband and I spent two weekends cleaning every inch of that place. We pulled out every appliance and swept and cleaned behind every appliance. We still got charged a cleaning fee even though they ask you to clean before you leave. Four Lakes: don't ask if you 're going to charge us anyways. If you have a service animal they will still charge you a pet cleaning charge. My service animal is extremely trained and never had an accident--I still got charged. If you're even thinking about renting from these corrupt people just don't. You will regret it. read more

Worst property management company ever! After moving out of this awful place, I was inclined to keep my opinion to myself about how ridiculous the management is here but About a month after I moved out, I received a call from a collections company asking me where my "move-out" cleaning fee of $120 was. What?!?!? I moved out and never received any notice from 4-lakes that my deposit was not enough to cover my move out and the first notification I get is from a debt collector? Talk about shady business practice. It's bad enough that I hired a carpet cleaning company to steam clean my carpets but I also had several hundred dollar deposit that apparently wasn't enough to cover the the cleaning costs. RIDICULOUS. The other thing...when I first moved in, the management crew was great. After about a year, the staff completely turned over and they were ridiculous. No bikes are allowed on the deck space. I once had a small bag of soil on my deck and was told I would be fined for the "garbage bag" I left on my deck. Really? Stay away from this place. read more

This place is a joke. I lived there for a year. I literally stayed at my apartment for maybe half the time I rented because I stayed with my girlfriend at her house. I never had company and when I was home it was only me there. When I checked out the manager said it looked like the place looked barely lived in and gave all positives on her Ipad for check out. I get my final papers two weeks later and they, of course, found ways to not only take all 450 of my security deposit, but managed to find it in their hearts to bill me 69 dollars. I had the place cleaned before I left! Charged 175 to clean a two bedroom apartment after it was already cleaned!?!? Thieves... Tarragon properties. Beware of this place. read more

Tangy is condescending when you speak with her over the phone and in person she never smiles, always a sour face. Very poor customer service. Parking is horrendous. We have lived here less than a year and are moving very soon (can't wait)!! I see there are reviews that some people don't like but you need to read them if you are interested in this property, as they are true! The comment about Tangie being condescending is so true, I spoke to her and she was as rude as a person could be without calling me an idiot. Jamie is not much better, so talk to the gentleman who works there for a good experience! Our downstairs neighbors have been nothing but rude the whole time we've been here, making complaints etc. in our defense, it's not our fault they put us upstairs as we have 2 larger dogs who are very active. We are quiet by 830 every night but have to get up early to take them out. I have never once called to complain about anything, even though these are 50 plus people whose 5 year old granddaughter live with them and she is sooooo loud, but that's not the kind of people we are. But have dealt with bogus ridiculous complaints from the downstairs neighbors! Be careful about painting the walls etc, the charge is exorbitant for having them repainted. All in all, even if my worst enemy wanted to live here, I wouldn't recommend it!!! This is supposed to be a nonsmoking property but there are cigarette butts everywhere and I wouldn't recommend taking my dogs to the dog enclosure as there is always poop not picked up and mushrooms growing everywhere. The sprinklers go even in the rain, it's a crime how much water they waste. read more

Newer aparments, gated, and some amenities. They maintain the exterior complex cleanliness although some tenants are irresponsible for not cleaning their dogs poos. It says smoke-free, but some tenants smoke nearby. One of the safest areas in Auburn. Close to a strip mall. However, the location is on top of the hills, about 20 mins (not including the traffic during peak-hours) from bus/train station and shopping malls. Rent is too high for a small unit and charge you lots of fees (professional general and carpet cleaning, lightbulbs, painting, etc.) when you leave even you turnover a decent cleaned unit. They charge you for some things even it suppose to be a landlord's responsibility. Barking dogs all day and night, and they don't do anything to address that issue. Noises of cars, people talking, delayed maintenance, a rude and liar leasing agent are one of the things you gonna deal with if you become resident in this apartment complex. read more
