I moved Into the place last year and from the beginning there were problems. Dishwasher didn't work, a couple cabinet doors were old and hanging off the hinges, the carpet to the entry way of the kitchen was poorly done..the hinges to the door of the closet were broken off, a big hole in the door to the washer and dryer. The bathroom toilet leaks water sometimes and the sink in the kitchen has water leaking out as well. Made all this aware to the maintenance which they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT! When neighbors had parties in our complex, we would always get the blame and a note on the door. All they do is NOTES NOTES NOTES..Lake side pool?? HAHAHA more like a nasty pool that is never heated. They also find any reason whatsoever to enter your apartment- Oh have to check this, have to check this, check this..Like 5 inspections in one month, very irritating and i feel they are looking for something AND being nosey. Had a new door put on and they didn't even do that right. The knob keeps falling off when I pull it and when they use their leaf blowers EARLY AS HECK IN THE MORNING since the door wasn't put on right, all kind of WONDERFUL debris gets blown in my house. Just awful. One of the tenants here said the maintenance man just walked right in AFTER she told him to hold on and he heard her. The staff was and is very rude when it came time to get stuff done in my apartment. All kinds of people park in your PAID carport all the time and nothing is done. The amount they want for this place per month is not worth what you get inside. They also gave me notice to move before 30 days. They are shady and remember always to READ WHAT YOU SIGN. Never dealt with such heartless people in my life. Didn't even give me a reason. My experience here wasn't too good. I advise you not to stay here and look somewhere else! read more

We have lived at auburn Glen for 2 years now. The front office staff is always so helpful both Charles and Trevor. We were unfortunate enough to be involved in a very bad car accident not allowing us to walk for a few months and they were soo very helpful in every way. These guys are so kind and helpful when we needed it most. Their maintenance team helped so much with our trash and mail since we couldnt go down stairs i appreciate their team both Fate and Serg. This office and maintenance team is amazing and a pleasure to live in a complex where they go above and beyond to assist their residents. Thank you guys, you saved us alot of trouble while temporary handicapped. read more

It looks nice from a glance but there are some serious plumbing issues. My walls are GUSHING water and the floor is covered in water. My carpets are wet and you get text messages saying "water is temporarily shut off in building b" about every other week. read more

I went to view this 2 bedroom apartment that they were showing. The apartment itself had rotting wood in the cabinets, the dishwasher was full of water and smelled. The outlets were hanging off the wall. the fireplace did not have a glass door but you could see where there was supposed to be one. The carpet was in poor quality. And this is the unit that they are showing to prospective tenants?? This place uses AI scoring when evaluating new tenants. In case you don't know, AI is a new type of credit scoring that predicts the likelihood that you will be paying your rent. So, even though we passed the credit check and employment screening, we were denied because this algorithm says that I am less likely to pay my rent. EVEN though my credit and rental history says I am a prompt payer. Does this make any sense at all? The only thing positive about this experience is that I get my holding fee back. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Lets start with maintenance. You put in a work order and either you have to wait forever for it to be accomplished, or they don't fix it right the first time. 2 incidents I have had was one of the towel bars in my bathroom will not stay on. They have had to come in 6 times and still can't fix it. Second was my fire alarm. I begged for a year to have it fixed. They didn't fix it until I threatened to call the fire department and report them as it is a risk. Then you have "Reema" office lady of the month not put in work orders when requested. A temp girl had to do mine. Now lets talk about management. Never consistent on information from one tenant to another. Always some excuse or can't answer a question without saying umm umm. Now leases. My father in law had to come in 3x this year as well as my husband and I to resign leases cause they can't do it right the first time. Hello you are dealing with legal contracts either do it right or learn before dealing with them. Management is always changing. Then the new management blames last management for everything wrong. Passing the blame. Lets not forget about it being okay for them to break rules of a lease but oh my god a tenant does one small thing and its a crime. Let me give an example. According to our lease weed is not allowed to be smoked in the apartments. Funny because I have complained over 30 times about who is smoking the weed that is getting into my apartment from my master bathroom. ITS AGAINST THE LEASE! Never one notice given to them but omg I do anything and its instant notice. Apparently they pick and choose who follows what rules. They are always changing the pool key and not informing tenants only to blame us for not coming in sooner. Now lets get to parking. They pretty much force you to buy a parking spot because they don't have enough uncovered spots for people to park. Now lets talk about Water/Sewage/Garbage bills. Price is never consistent goes up and down. Example for the last year I have paid around 130 to 140 for a family of 5. This month 170 dollars. That's a 30 dollar increase. I haven't done anything different. I talked to one of the new office ladies of the month and was told it was city of auburn and it will go back down next month. Lies. I called city of auburn and they said it would be too much paperwork to do that for just one month. Now bug issues. This place has so many trees that apartments become infested with spiders during the summer. Ants are crazy. I keep my apartment clean and yet always have a crap load of ants getting into my food or on my clean dishes. Was told they would inform pest control and its been 3 months and no pest control in my apartment. I pay 1400 dollars for a mediocre apartment at best. This place is a complete rip off. Also I should add that I informed the ladies my kids would be gone for the summer and we will be gone 2 weeks and guess what we will be charged for 5 people and for the 2 weeks we will be gone for water and sewage ect. Get your act together Auburn Glen. And you wonder why your tenant move out is so high. Don't bother leaving a comment of we're sorry bs because you won't change. UPDATE: Since my last review we have gone through tremendous changes. The new management is awesome. Charles our new manager is very curteous. He makes sure tenants problems are fixed. Water/Sewage is still up and down. I pay for a spot now and when someone blocks me management does what they can to inform people its not ok to block people. Rent is better. Our rent increase is not the 100 dollar uppage it used to be. Its sensible now. Still have the weed smell but unfortunately since its legal not much management can do. I've resided at Auburn Glen for a year now, and have seen many improvements. Management has upgraded their staff to include very polite, knowledgeable and helpful employees. Employees that live onsite, and care about where they live. The site itself has undergone several maintenance and renovation projects. It is nice to see children on the playground and playing basketball/dodgeball. Tenants will visit each other and chat (like people did in the old days). read more

This apartment complex seems quite nice, until you get to know it. We moved from Nevada to Washington on only a month's time to prepare, so I suppose we were looking for a bit of trouble- and in the end, we got it. They processed our application quite quickly, and were very cooperative even with only dealing with us online and over the phone, so we thought their customer service was quite good, until we had to change our living arrangements. We were splitting off from our roommate, and they were getting another roommate to replace us, and the complex's managers were quite uncommunicative. Granted, we had other difficulties getting other companies to communicate as well, so it wasn't all their fault, but they never gave us a complete list of all the information they were looking for all at once, so we basically had to undergo a scavenger hunt last-minute before our move before they would even approve the new guy and let us off the lease. If this was all that happened, it wouldn't have been as much of an issue, but for one, the complex is rather slow to respond to maintenance requests, for another, they are one of those complexes which decides that it's appropriate to use lawnmowers and leaf-blowers right outside tenant windows at eight in the morning, sleep be hanged, and for yet another, their pipes apparently are shoddily constructed and, the one time that it froze badly, the sprinkler pipes burst on the third storey, resulting in all apartments underneath being soaked. (At least three buildings suffered this the exact same day.) All in all, the rent is high for what it is, beware of hidden fees, and expect them to try to act like they're doing a lot when they really aren't improving anything. read more

First of all... I'd like to say that I've definitely lived in worse places. This place is decently clean, convenient for shopping, etc. The mall is close by, it's nice there is a play area, and there is a lot of covered parking. Yay washers and dryers. It's an OK place to live. There are worse places. Now... the bad stuff. 1. Simply... the train yard is very loud. I wish someone would have talked about that. At night we would be sleeping, or trying, and there are constant "explosions" happening less than 1000 feet outside the window. Noises loud enough that guests of mine would be scared upon hearing them, asking what the "explosion" was... it's the train yard outside. Even with ear plugs, it still woke me up. I have a 4 year old... imagine what it's like trying to calm down a 4 year old almost every night for 11 months after getting him to sleep. Not fun. 2. The staff is polite, but VERY apathetic of what is going on with their residents. During one of their "routine" inspections, and it felt like these happened all the time, they not only did not lock my door on the way out, but the door was wide open when I came home and my cats were outside. I had to go find them. We had a wall covered in mold and I called them on 8/16/15. It took them a week to even enter the apartment. After that came four weeks of me calling them and emailing through the corporate website for them to actually come in and fix the drywall they ended up tearing out. Then they took the toilet out, put it in the bathtub, and it was about another 2 weeks before they put it back in. During this time, my room mate was unable to live in the apartment with us because it was just too inconvenient to try to get three of us up and ready in the morning with only my bathroom in working order - which was in my room. So if he had wanted to use it, he would have had to come in through my bedroom. It just wasn't going to happen, especially at night when me and my son were sleeping. They offered us no discounted rent though I asked, no discounted sewer or water. It was 10/20 before the project was completed. TWO MONTHS went by between the beginning of the project, and when it was finally completed. It also took over 2 weeks to get my bedroom heater replaced when it got super cold all of a sudden. My son had to sleep in the bed to stay warm or we had to blast the living room heaters to warm the room. 3. Upon move out, they will not sign a walk through report with you. I took the end of the day off to meet with them and get my final inspection. I had carpet cleaners and maids come in, and because of one 4x1inch piece of carpet in the bedroom that my cat got to, they replaced the entire carpet. She wouldn't give me an estimate before I left. I feel like I spent money to get it in order for nothing. They don't apply the cleaning fees you paid toward anything... So I'd say maybe get a maid because if I hadn't I'm sure the final statement would have been more, but maybe skip the carpet cleaner. I could have saved $200 and applied it to the amount of my final statement. So maybe this helps you. My carpet guy told me to fix the carpet would have been like $50, they charged me "prorated" carpet cost of like $250. 4. The trash issue here is completely ridiculous. They will threaten to fine you if you take your trash to the compactor and leave it there. They will also fine you if you leave your trash at your door, or on your porch, which makes it really difficult because the trash compactor is almost always full. I ended up frequently taking my trash and leaving it on the side, taking photos of the piles of garbage every single week. It is unreasonable to charge people $15 for trash, and then not allow them to throw their garbage away in a timely manner. They wanted us to leave our garbage bags inside the door and wait for the garbage to be cleared. 5. The parking issues... Again, lots of covered parking if you want to pay... hardly any regular parking. 6. As stated by other people... don't try to sleep in on the weekends. The lawn people come bright and early. You can see most of these comment that give them 3 or more stars are fake.. the long reviews are accurate this place is over priced and not maintained.. they love to shut your water off with out any notice on xmas eve all day.. they never come to fix your stuff.. apartment had leak down stairs they put whole in wall still been there 6 months later.. they love to raise your rent every year but make no improvements to your apartment or your maintaince requests. all the neighbors love to smoke weed outside have all the hallways smelling and your apartment.. oh and if your neighbors are loud and party a lot they wont do nothing about that either you just have to live with it.. my neighbors dog upstairs is wayyyy to big to be on the 3rd floor but they dont care cuz they dont live under them.. oh and they advertise a pool thats never open.. last summer was open maybe half the time but i doubt that.. read more

We've been living in the apartments for 1.5 years and it's been absolute hell for us since the day after we signed the lease the first time. We signed the lease at 1180 + wsg in 09/2015, rent was raised to 1310 + wsg in 2016, but nothing was updated aside from the management team. We've put in several service requests over the last year and a half and only one of the problems were resolved after harassing the office for 4 days straight, being told maintenance didn't have enough time to get to our request because it wasn't an emergency. They've gone through 8 leasing agents, all of which have been rude, stuck up and not any bit close to helpful. Parking is an absolute nightmare when you come home after 5pm, unless you want to pay $35 a month per covered spot. They will charge you for a key to access the pool and gym, then change it without notifying you and blame you for not checking sooner. There are no breed restrictions even if they claim there are, pitbulls have attacked my roommate and a sharpei lives on someone's porch. The walls are super thin, we can hear our neighbors arguing with each other constantly. Just don't bother wasting your time here. They'll treat you great until you actually sign a lease. Sarah (the new property manager) is also incredibly misleading. We confirmed with her that our move out date was 20 days from the day we gave notice of moving out (so signed the notice on 03/08/17, which would make our move out date the 28th) and she called to ask why we hadnt turned keys in on 03/22 you can do better. read more

My boyfriend and I lived in these apartments for 6 months with our 1 year old daughter. We had problems in the beginning with parking, there isn't enough spots for the amount of people living there. And we also had trouble with 1 of the girls that managed the apartments. She was extremely rude. We were to move out on 8.21.17 and the days prior to that I cleaned for 3 days making sure the apartment was clean. I even had a few people come in and help me clean the apartment to ensure I got a little bit of my deposit back. I turned my keys in and the lady said I had to wait 2 weeks. So I called 2 weeks later and the mean assistant told me I had to wait 2 more weeks. So I called yesterday 9.12. And the lady that answered was surprised that no one had contacted me. She told me I was getting NO deposit back and sent me a list of damages done to the apartment. She said there was $200 worth of paint damages and we didn't even hang one single thing on the walls! She also said that they had to rip the carpet out of both rooms because of dog pee and we didn't even have a dog! These places are a joke. On top of all that BS, we were told when we moved in that there was going to be security every night. My boyfriends CAR got stolen at NIGHT from their property and they didn't care. THESE APARTMENTS ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST TO NOT RENT FROM THEM. read more

So disappointed. Have lived here for 4 years with rent increases yearly of no less than $75-$100 per year. This year they are increasing my $200!!! Called the regional supervisor "Jennifer" 3 times in July. Got called back today 8/22. "There is nothing she can do about the increase." when I asked about the price of moving into an "updated" unit I was told "the units that were updated 4 years ago, are no longer considered updated" !!! WTF?? So the "new" updated units are going for even more. It's too bad, and so sad I can't move out right now, but I'm committed to moving out of this complex before they can increase the rent again. They are never full, and people move out in the middle of the night. Too bad such businesses thrive due to our economy. My family has lived here since September and we absolutely love It. The management team is awesome and extremely helpful. The service team gets service request done very fast and in a timely matter. Everyone is friendly and says hi and asked how I'm doing whenever I see them. My son loves to go visit the ladies working in the office and they always take them time to say hi to him and ask him how school was. The property is always nice and clean as well as the office area. We absolutely love it here and definitely won't be moving anytime soon!! I absolutely love the new property manager she is always available when I need her or have a question, and the service supervisor is very sweet and makes sure we are satisfied with the service he has provided. read more

Today is September 5, 2012 at 6:30pm. I'm writing this because unlike you new be mover I live here and let me tell you this don't move here with the constant flooding, and a great deal spiders, now a raise in the rent what was 925.00 now 977.00. Now if your like me you want to know were your money is going and since I've been here I fell as if it's going no were. Lets say that you move in with your family at the surface it look like a new place to live but it's not. People smoking weed and other drug and drink leaving a mess that the apartment does not care about. It would be one thing if they are doing this in there home but they don't its out side at night and normally on the kids play ground which is surrounded by other apartment. The problem is that this place is being run by unintelligent people. I say this to everyone thinking about moving to the Auburn Glen Apartment may be one of your choices don't move in this place. For one it has a lot of mold because of the constant flooding so if you have allergies and a flooding happens they will have to remove a part of the wall you will breathe that in now don't think they care because they don't care about the people that live here. There are other places in Auburn, WA that you can live at that are nice and clean but this place is not one of them. read more

The worst apartment experience everrr!! The apartment was in poor condition to begin with. It takes maintenance weeks to respond to any maintenance requests if they even come at all. On move out we had a a walk through with the property manager and she assured us that we would receive most of our deposit and that the apartment was in really good shape but then charge us $700 in fees!! I don't understand and they give you some lame excuses about what the charges are for. I just bite the bullet because I needed the rest of my deposit back asap. 2 weeks later we have not received the chk, we have constantly tried contacting the property manager LINDSAY DURANCE but always end up talking to Lani, we wrote several emails and left several vmails with no response. The manager is always "conveniently" out of the office and when I finally talk to her, which is about a month later by the way, she says that she don't know what happened and she doesn't have our forwarding address. I am super irritated at this point because I have given her my new address on multiple occasions and I even called Lani to make sure. At this point it has been a month and a half, still haven't received my deposit back, I am currently in contact with the district manager.
