Such a cute and clean place to grab breakfast close to the lake! We have passed this place a few times but had not stopped in until recently. We went during the winter which is typically an off season around the lake, but there were still plenty of patrons at the diner. The waitress was attentive, the menu had enough for everyone to choose from and they even accommodated an odd request for my breakfast sandwich with no issue. Definitely appears to be a local spot with regulars coming in and out and I can see why. With not a lot of options in the area, especially year round, this place is really a gem! Found this place when I asked the lady at Stewarts gas station who would be open at 6am for breakfast. She immediately directed me here. I'm so glad she did! This place is a cute little diner. The service was very friendly and although the menu wasn't extensive, they had the classic diner breakfast. The food came quickly and was delicious and hot. Will definitely return. read more

There aren't many sit down places on this part of Great Sacandaga Lake, but this diner stands out for me. It's typical diner/luncheonette fare, though the menu has gotten a bit more sophisticated in recent years. The prices are very reasonable. Oh, and the pie is the best! read more

Put it in perspective. This is the ONLY breakfast you can get in a 20 mile radius. That being said, its a good value for the money. But keep your kids quiet. This is a locals place; with the patrons age skewing a bit older. The staff is typically friendly and attentive. But if its super busy...say fourth of july or labor day it can get hectic. I have been coming to four corners diner for a few years now but never got any reviews in. This is some of the best breakfast food I have ever eaten. Their hash browns are amazing, and their grilled corn muffins are to die for. The staff here is also awesome. They are always at the door to greet you and put you at a table. They are kind and attentive and they always get your food ordered quickly. The food always comes very fast (this time it came in about ten minutes for three people), and it always surprises me. To sum it up the four corners diner is a nice little place with amazing food and good service. I highly recommend it. read more

I just ordered a take out broccoli and cheese omelet with extra cheese. Got home to find there was NO cheese! Well if you searched real hard you could see a sliver of cheese in the corner. It was the worse Most driest omelet I ever had!! I had to smother it with ketchup. The other omelet we ordered we asked for extra cheese and there was very little cheese in that too. Any time I have ever eaten there I would ask if they could make the home fries crispy...and they NEVER do. The last time we ate in i over heard the waitress telling a table they had to all order breakfast or all order lunch!! What diner does that? Unfortunately this is the only place around. That's why they do it! If they had any competition they would never be in business, I'm going to make sure I have breakfast food at camp from now on! read more

I avoid this place at all costs... The same outfit run the old kitchenette in Northville and it has gone downhill since they took it over. Poor review for ONE REASON...CLEANLINESS!!!! 5 out of my 6 times eating there, I discovered lipstick on my coffee cup. Twice when I notified the waitress she brought me another cup which ALSO had lipstick on it... If they will give you a dirty cup, it speaks volumes for the cleanliness of the rest of the place that you can't see... Don't take my word for it...next time you are there, wipe the rim of your coffee cup with your napkin before using it...you will be appalled!!! read more

Went there Saturday at 11:50 am my wife asked if she could get breakfast the waitress looked at the clock and said yes, she then ordered, I then asked for a turkey sandwich and was told we could not mix breakfast and lunch. are you kidding? what a joke! we could order only breakfast or lunch. walked out and will never be back! read more

The only game in town and they know it and have an attitude, unless you are a local . Who apparently can butt ahead in the waiting line and sit down with another local group at a table aready done eating, and put in an order , while you stand waiting for a table another half hour, or more, We were there for over 2 hours for eggs and pancakes for 4 people . Also, they don't pay attention and seat others ahead of you. If you appear at all upset , or say anything you will be berated by the nasty waitress who acts like she is doing you a favor by waiting on you at all. Hate to tell her but we local, we just don't go there often for this very reason, I fully learned my lesson this last time and will never be back. Aside from being treated horrible , customer wrong in every way, Silverware and cup was dirty, the kitchen appears to cook one plate at a time,. I could have driven to Amsterdam bought the groceries and made breakfast for the whole diner in the time that! Customers are not equal there, and waitress has a superior working class hero attitude.
