Stopped in for taco Tuesday and they were good. Had fried and blackened shrimp with 1 mahi taco. Next time will skip the mahi. Jamie, the bartender, was fabulous. She was very outgoing and prompt. Will go back again.

Highly recommend!! My friends and I stopped in on a game day and the place was crowded. We had a party of 7 so I doubted that they would even be able to get us a table but they seated us pretty quickly. The waitress welcomed us right away and checked in on us multiple times. I had the peal and eat shrimp and a caesar salad. Both were delicious but look at the caesar salad portion size!!! It was gigantic for $6 I was highly impressed. The peal and eat shrimp tasted really good with a little lemon squeezed on them and i believe their cocktail sauce is homemade. My boyfriend's wings were really good and the fries were my favorite. Overall thank you 4 Corners for helping us out and providing a great meal!

Boneless Buffalo Melt

I came here on a Monday night for dinner with a large group. We reserved the upstairs area as they have an open space for a large group of people. We had a group of 15 people, and we were all able to fit. The table set up is similar to bar seating where you will be seated next to people, but no one will be sitting across from you because the tables are too narrow. As for the food, I thought it was pretty average. It's your typical bar food with burgers and wings. I ordered the boneless buffalo melt. I thought it was decent because I was craving fries, but the boneless wings were dry and bland. I thought they had great drink specials. They have drink specials just about every day of the week and on Monday's they have $3 pints. Overall, I thought Four Corners was decent. It's your average sports bar. I would recommend coming here for the drinks and ambiance, but not the food.

The inside is cool, and I'd like to go back sometime to just sit at the bar and have a drink. I'm not impressed with their food though. There were 6 of us here for lunch, and the service was good. The wings were meaty and tasty, but the hot wasn't nearly hot enough. The buffalo shrimp was good but would be better without the breading. The fries seem to be slightly breaded which I think is gross and unnecessary. The handmade chips were cold and chewy. The beef of the burger was good. The pickle on the side was pitiful. Just don't bother. The salad was blah. The chili wasn't even a little bit good. Clam chowder was good. The ribs were good but had to be returned because there were two pieces of hair on them. So disgusting.

Two guys professionally duking it out at the entrance.

Four corners has a bustling atmosphere and has sports on ALWAYS, showing the top games. The food here was good too and the Jumbo wings I had ordered tasted amazing, service wasn't too slow and we got seated and our drinks rather quick! The main feature of this restaurant is the 3 layers and it being 1 1/2 floors tall, having a middle layer, a bottom layer, and a top layer, with the middle layer housing a bar. Employees are nice and understanding although sometimes hard to hear over the crowd in there, also told us not to mind the professional wrestlers in the entryway, but it wasn't that much of a problem to endure or warrant a drop in stars. Overall very nice restaurant and a must go if you are a sports fan and in town.

Nacho Grande with shredded chicken and guacamole

Such a variety of food choices! I had the super Nachos with shredded chicken and guacamole. Couldn't even finish there was so much. Others in my party had two different hamburger dishes- both great, wings, shrimp tacos, and Cajun penna pasta Alfredo with blackened chicken. There are lots of TVs going and 3 different levels in which to eat. It a relatively small place with great food. However, the service was poor. I had to ask for menus and the dirty plates stayed on the table till we left.

I sent this greasy mess back after picking at the fish... the kitchen shrugged. I told the mgr. before I left she looked sad but...

Food today was NOT good but the service was REALLY good. I had the fish & chips - really I had a plate of greasy fried batter with some potatoes and some dry ribbons of fish. I regret not sending it back and eating as much as I did... it isn't setting well now that I'm home. I told the wait (when he asked) that I couldn't eat most of it because it was so saturated with grease. He said, "I'll tell the kitchen." When he came back he said they just shrugged. He was sorry. I asked him to honestly tell me what he thought about the fish & chips there and he said he didn't eat the fried food there. He then told me he'd had a # of complaints about the greasy fries but the kitchen didn't seem to care and he thought that 'was weird.' He was solicitous and attentive and did the best he could. He is the reason this isn't a 1 star review. This part isn't about food but - the men's room was out of t.p. Thankfully I saw that before I needed it. The same waitstaff person went on a wild search before he went into the ladies room and brought out 12 ft of paper. I will continue to support local & have a meal out when I can but ... I will not be eating at Four Corners again.

Half sweet and spicy cajun (top) and half garlic parmesan (bottom)

I ordered food from here during COVID-19 so my experience is only take-out. If you are looking for classic bar food at a relatively affordable price (with some deals) then Four Corners is the place to be. I got their 10-piece wings and they were delicious and filling. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Sweet and Spicy Cajun and the Garlic Parmesan flavors (see picture) as they are my favorite among all the flavors I have tried. One thing I would like to bring up that I believe is important to discuss about restaurants during COVID. When I went to pick up my food during the first day of Phase 2 reopening in NC, I saw that there were many customers who were in the bar without masks or any kind of face covering. Although to be fair, the servers and bartenders were indeed wearing masks, I do not believe it is enough to inspire sufficient confidence for me to visit the restaurant for dine-in anytime soon. I will be hesitant to order take-out from here in the near future as well as long as they do not enforce a mask requirement for their bar and restaurant.

Bummed that a CH institution would be so careless with what they offer in service and today's meal was not up to par. You can do better!

I've been at least 6 times and the food isn't consistent. The bartenders are horrible and slow.

Yummy food. Great place to watch a sports game. Laid back atmosphere. Staff is helpful. Parking is difficult and you have to pay.

Already being on Franklin Street, I knew that wouldn't be a problem, and I decided to just pop into this Carolina Brewery location (I think their main one) because it was convenient. The inside is a beautiful mix of wood and metals with different levels, an interesting bar configuration and plenty of TVs. I took a seat at the bar and received excellent service, and enjoyed conversation about sports, beer, and food with a couple of other gentlemen sitting close by. The only snafu of the meal was the tea got dumped (close to closing) after I got my first glass but before I got a refill. They replaced it with another drink of course, but that was good tea! I ordered the shrimp and grits with tempered expectation, but will summarily say they were exceeded. This was a really nice sized portion of thick creamy grits, a total of 8 VERY plump shrimp, enough salty bacon and onion to balance it out. Each bite was well balanced, and while it can't compare to anything I've had out in the low country by the coast, it was better than I hope for this spot and time. If I had to suggest an improvement, it could use an element with a subtle sweetness, like roasted or blistered sweet corn shaved off the cob. I also would like the sauce more pronounced, or even a red-eye gravy. I wouldn't call it dry, but it could have benefited. That would take it onto another level. Anyhow, I enjoyed the meal and friendly conversation. I would certainly return next time I'm in Chapel Hill.

The service was solid--nice young lady from UNC who was very attentive and friendly. The food was meh. The burrito bowl was super salty and blah. The pork sandwich was soggy. The Mac and cheese was bland. The blackened fish tacos had hardly any fish. I'm guessing there are better choices on Franklin.
