This was my second visit to Fotolux for visa photos, and their service was as fast, courteous and professional as the first. This entire shopping area is hard to enter until you realize it is not on Princeton-Hightstown Road, but once that is discovered, there are several worthwhile shops and restaurants that can bring you back. Fotolux is selling a lot of stone jewelry now, but they still make their bones doing photo work. A corner of the space is a used as a mini studio. Simple lighting and a stool perfectly measured for passport shots. Digital camera in hand, the actual session took about three minutes. No smile. No glasses. Just look into the lense with no expression. Snap. Snap. Done. Another six minutes until the images are developed, printed and cut to size. A small baggie for each use. $26 and tax. Out you go; ready to complete the online renewal forms, print, sign, date and mail with passport to the Passport Center in Philadelphia. Already have the other 2x2 headshots for the China visa process, which starts when the new passport book comes back. Excellent service and quality. I needed visa photos to travel to a number of countries that require different visa applications. Getting them done right is not easy. The size and image requirements for these photos are very strict. It is not possible to get this done at typical passport photo places like CVS, which have a cookie cutter approach. Every other place was not working out either. I found Fotolux through a websearch. When I arrived, I saw that they have an AGFA industrial quality photo print machine with the latest picture management software. Photos were done in minutes. Perfect the first time, and the price was just a dollar more than at CVS, which is well worth it when other places can't even do this. I should have went here to Fotolux first to get it done right and save a lot of hassles elsewhere. read more

The owner (also photographer) knows what he's doing. Exact as all the previous reviewers stated, he is very friendly and the price isn't bad at all, $14.99 for passport photos that is done right. I've been to other drugs store so many times and each time came out with too much flash, head tilt slightly to one side, too dark background, collar not lining. One the other hand, Peter was very professional in telling to relax my shoulders, turn your face just 2 degrees to the right, calm face, etc. The service was in-n-out so I was able to finish in 10 minutes. Definitely recommend to others. Also, he does wedding and special occasion photos too, which means a huge plus in skills :) read more

Terrible terrible service. I will never come here again. They cannot do the photoshop for the electronic file after you take your pictures and ask you to do it yourself. The woman working here cannot send the electronic file to your email. The only thing they can give you is the CD. So bad and they take cash under 20 dollars by claiming that credit card company will charge them fee for transactions under 20. So ridiculous! read more

He really knows his craft. He specializes in portraits and special occasions and he knows just how to bring out the best in his subjects. Ordered prints to be picked up that day. He said they would be ready in the afternoon. When I called to check on puctures they closed and didn't answer calls. This was at 3 in the afternoon! Had I known they wouldn't have pictures ready that day I would never have used them since I needed them that day. Should have gone elsewhere. read more

Friendly, efficient, and reasonably-priced. Got passport pictures taken here. Far better lighting and set up than the CVS/Walgreens type options, and it was only some $15 or so (I think the pharmacies charge significantly more).
