Meltzer Barnet G MD - Dr. Barnet Meltzer

Meltzer Barnet G MD

The office experience I had was professional and very accommodating. His diets were extremely helpful and I still have all of them and go by them to some extent even to this day nearly 50 years later. And at 68 I am so strong in spite of smoking cigs for 50 years and smoking weed for 50 years and drinking brandy daily for the past five years, hence this post. He was/is New Age but STEM realistic due to his rigorous medical training: it's a good strong balance there. At some point in his MD career he could see the limitations of 'internal medicine' whereby the proper food and diet can provide the same benefit, with no side effects or toxicity from the usually-prescribed Big Pharma moneymaking products, which are mostly based on inevitably toxic petrochemical derivatives. He never prescribed me anything other than food, as I was basically healthy but misaligned nutritionally, and once I had good diets going for a while everything sailed along: I found myself having gone from an apparent 'life ruining' suicide attempt in early 1979 to working an important and very successful international field engineering job in 1986 with an advanced engineering degree! How can you beat that? The basically perfect engineering career bit the dust after only one year due to global economics, but I came back to USA and started a tiny business and by now at 68 I have everything. And that is because I am strong and I can credit a significant amount of that resilient strength to Dr. Meltzer for his very salient work in the field of medicine by determining what actually works in medicine and mental health care as opposed to what makes the most money for Big Pharma stockholders. So the last point is that once healthy and strong, a person can withstand repeated attacks from society and still come out on top. But it was not over even then: I had a 13 year war with the banks after all of that and I won, because I am very strong. Everything is paid off and I am having just a very wonderful time. So thank you sincerely, Dr. Meltzer.

She stays up-to-date on medical research and has phoned me with additional info after following up on several of my appointments with further research on a related topic. In this era of changing healthcare, we definitely want our doctors' knowledge to be growing with the times. Dr. Witman is an exceptional physician who is tenacious in her resolve to figure out the best way to help her patients. I appreciate the lengths she has gone to - to maximize my health. Besides further research, she has referred me to specialists who she communicated with, and advocated for me when she didn't think a specialist was treating my case with the urgency she felt it warranted. She has also helped interpret other doctors' notes, lab reports & x-rays for me so that I understood what they meant. Availability has been so valuable. Every time I have called her office with some ailment, I have been able to get in to see the doctor that day. When I have sent Dr. Witman an email summarizing visits with specialists...she responded off-hours even if it was a weekend or evening. Her responses were very detailed indicating that she has studied the results from the various specialists. She truly is dedicated to delivering the highest quality personal healthcare.
