It's still an OK store. I was looking for a new Fossil wallet yesterday, hoping to recapture some of the magic as before. Wallets are now $60 for any type, with a discount of 60% bringing them to $24. No real service to speak of. I came and left without a hello or goodbye. I'm a big fan of the fossil store chain, and this store was no disappointment. I had lost a bracelet I used to have from them and I needed a new one, I immediately found what I was looking for. The experience was quick and painless and really what else can you ask for when shopping. The selection wasn't great but hey, it's the San Marcos outlets. We're not here for the variety we're here for the 50% off sale on basically everything in a 2 mile radius. The workers were helpful enough, I can't complain. 4 stars for fossil. read more

My boyfriend & I were walking past the store last night when we saw that they had a pretty nice sale going on, so we decided to stop in. The sales people were... very attentive, to put it nicely. "Hi, are you good? Are you all alright over here? Still doing OK? Let me know if you need anything! Need any help? Finding everything all right?" In five minutes I counted seven such approaches by the three (four?) employees present. FIVE. MINUTES. I get wanting to be attentive to your customers, but there was someone behind us at almost every moment. I was debating between two bags and a watch but only ended up getting one bag (60% off!) because I was tired of being followed around the store. I'm not interested in pondering why we were being followed or if they behave that way with everyone. I just know they made my boyfriend & I incredibly uncomfortable. I understand it's an outlet store but costumer service could be way better. I walked in with my husband determined to buy the Gen 5, cash in hand. NOBODY approached us. We stood right by the watch stands and I made eye contact with 2 different employees and none of them asked if we needed help. I finally said "excuse me" and one of them walked toward us and didn't say anything, he just stood there. And I asked how much and his reply was "oh, that's the new Gen 5 and it's $295" like saying it was too much money for us to spend. AND THEN HE WALKED AWAY!!!!!!! read more

Similar to the other fossil outlet down the street but with a slightly larger selection, much larger clearance section, and more attentive staff. However it only their stuff as opposed to the other fossil outlet that had some other brands. After visiting both I've discovered in just not much if a fossil fan. read more
