We showed up there with bags containing 200 plastic and can bottles hoping that they would trust our count was correct. The guy saw my husband whip out his notepad with his calculations and that was clearly enough for him to take our bags and give us cash. I can not say they will do that for everyone and they may get upset if people read this and show up like we did but I don't care....they are professional and have always been nice on the phone and in person. One thing I will say is that you may find some less than fortunate people turning in bottles as well but don't be put off, they don't seem to bother anyone and look to be regulars. We recently had tons of bottles accumulated in our basement and thought it would be such a pain to bring down there until I remembered seeing on their site they had pick ups for certain amounts. I called and asked what the minimum pick up amount was. I scheduled it and my husband handled everything with them. He said they were very cool and friendly, helped him with the bottles and handed him the cash and receipt. I enjoy working with this company and there is nothing better than recycling and getting paid for it! So now that summer is here and we are drinking more and more water, why not recycle for cash instead of just tossing them away :)

What Do I mean by this? All glass pieces are wrapped with cardboard then saran wrapped, THAN a moving blanket as well. The day of my move Victor and his crew Showed up to my home, I walked the house with Victor and showed him everything that they were moving. The only two things that I had not mentioned to Carmine were a single twin mattress and a single full mattress (no furniture with those sets just mattresses) which other than the extra mattress pads it should have added several minutes to the move. My husband who had been making numerous trips to the new house with loose personally belongings comes in and I hear Victor downstairs instantly telling my husband this wasn't going to be a 4 hour job because I have him taking out garbage. Me hearing this, I'm completely surprised so I approached the situation and told him I never asked you to take out any garbage at which point his disrespectful attitude came in and he was arguing with me. Wish I could say the move got better, but his attitude was horrendous. The whole entire time being passive aggressive pounding up my stairs to which my 13-year-old daughter asked me what his problem was. When we got to the new house, his attitude didn't change either and got into an argument and was disrespectful to a family member and said she should have respect for the movers and get out of his way. She was accidentally in the past, but he could've easily went around her and he didn't have to be a nasty individual. But it was when I spoke to my neighbor that all the pieces of the puzzle came together because she told me that they were outside complaining how the office understaffed for this job and I'm not saying they didn't record because they did but I had the wool pulled over my eyes because the office understaff then and then hit me with a $400 overage at the end of the move. The movers left all my boxes in the living room , they didn't put my bedroom set together, so I ended up sleeping on the floor and all this aggravation and having to pay 400 more. Well, I'm gonna say is if you decide to use Verrazano movers make sure you have them come to your home and give you an estimate because they will wholeheartedly pull the wool over your eyes and financially take advantage of you. They've lost a customer and I will no longer recommend them to anyone.

Anastasia was so kind to work outside the normal process of using eSignatures, as my mother is frustrated by technology - Anastasia printed contracts, and had my mom sign in ink. Erv's estimate was a bit low the first go-around, but ultimately he did come up with a fair price given the number and weight of the items. What I'll remember more that anything are the three main factors; 1.) All of her possessions showed up here in Florida in tact. She had a number of pottery art pieces, and all made it through the move without breakage, 2.) The move was done efficiently and on-time, both for packing/pick-up and for the delivery, and 3.) Everyone was so genuinely nice! The men and women who packed up her apartment were kind and competent, and the delivery was handled all within about two hours, again with everything placed in it's proper area and with no anxiety. Pile in storage unit no rhyme or reason no hole for me to get into. I have bruises on legs from trying to make way in unit. Things were broken from being tossed over furniture. As a single gal this was my worst experience w any mover in my life. I wouldnt recommend at all.
