We were looking forward to try this place after getting off the flight based on the reviews. It's on the ground floor between Louis Vuitton and Burberry stores. There were 2 dining tables and the rest of were bar tops. After looking at the menu, each of us decided to order tea time combo included the a pot of tea and a platter with 3 different mini sandwiches, 2 scones and 3 mini desserts. The staff were friendly and attentive. We all really enjoyed the teas and good. They were delicious! When we checked out, we would get 10% off purchase in their store nearby with the receipt. A great place for a bite if you are hungry in Heathrow airport.

When searching for unique items for holidays or that classic tea blend, look no further than Fortnum & Mason. Was happy to find they had options for sale in the Duty Free store but for the best selection pop into the store and take in what F&M is serving up. I've been here in the past and for Halloween they had frightful chocolate skulls and coffins and many other eye catching items including spooky orange chocolate eyes. For Easter they decorated with vibrant pastels and the cutest tea pot. This is the shop for honey and tea with many varieties to choose from. When flying through Heathrow I make my way here to see the updated window displays and pick up some items for the family. Stop by and peruse their goods, F&M won't let you down.

Such a nice surprise to see this location during my layover! It was only 9am but I posted up to the bar, ordered some champagne, a crumpet, and breakfast tea. It was such a treat.

    Best marzipan ever

A five hour layover at Heathrow!!!! Mega shopping opportunity. My poor husband- he was not as enthusiastic. So, I left him at the Pilot's Bar (where we had a very nice breakfast, and which is almost right across for F & M)- and I went shopping. How delightful to know that while my husband nursed a glass of wine, I could get elegant and tasteful gifts for my friends (and for ME ME ME). I bought a large box of marzipan- the whole family has already enjoyed it. So marvelously different, softer, and better from the cheaper, larger, less attractive marzipans you can get. Also bought a couple of the rose petal jams- can't wait to open them, and eat the jam on my own fresh brioche bread. Finally, I bought tea. There were so many kinds. I purchased the rose enfused tea- and I am drinking it right now. It's heavenly. I also bought teas for my friends- wedding tea for those getting married, and the royal teas to impress those who are not. There was also a Valentine tea and many Valentine items when I was there- a perfect way to delight your sweetheart- unless your sweetheart is paying with his credit card and hates shopping (which is why I did not get any of the lovely Valentine items.) Oh to be ALONE with my own credit card in this store... But that was not to be, and that was probably good. I'm not sure I could have carried much more stuff than I did. But still, a girl can dream.

Great place for a stopover. Small batch spirits, extensive wines and ingredients beyond compare. My favorite: Smoked Salmon with Creme Fraiche and Rye Bread, washed down with a Gin and Tonic. Well done.

Unexpected location for…read morerestaurant but you can really feel a local vibe here with a convenient store attached to it. Food is relatively good and service was fast. My wife and I tried the grilled chicken (peri-peri) and grilled octopus (porvo) and they both are prepared really good to my taste (we prefer a little bland or less salty and it just suits us). Highly recommended for tourist who wants to explore local faves around London. All the the other 3 couples who are with us enjoyed their own dish as well!

The main course were grilled salmon in lemon and butter sauce. This was really good in flavor and a hint of crispness from being grilled but the meat is tender. Then we had the grilled octpus. Man, this was the highlight of the day. Serving size was big. It was so good we ordered another for to go. This place is really close to the London Heathrow Airport and a must try if you're really hungry. They have their own parking spots (but really tight space, just like all of UK parking spaces where plus size people will have a hard time getting in/out of the car as the spaces between cars are really tight) They have paper towels in the restroom and some outdoor seating.

I have to say it was some of the best espresso and chocolate croissant I've had. Albeit a bit pricey on what you're receiving, the quality and grandiose more than makes up for it. This cafe has a limited menu featuring breakfast, pastries, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. We were there around 8am and the Louis Vuitton store adjacent to it was already open as well for folks who were in the mood to shop. The espresso was served in a beautiful glass adorned with the LV monogram symbols and the plate as well. Everything in each little detail was adorned with the monogram pattern. When I asked for sugar it was served shaped as a monogram flower. The napkin had a monogram flower and it was just so classy-ly done. What stood out to me was the croissant being brought by the chef himself and it was massive. There was powdered sugar sprinkled on top with the monogram flower shown in the sugar. The chocolate filling was made with some of the best chocolate one could have and the croissant itself was so flaky. It probably took me at least five to ten minutes to finish it because it was that big. Staff here was pretty friendly and I loved the touch of the bar decorated with three beautiful louis vuitton trunks. Take a moment to look around and appreciate the art, architecture, design, and interior decorating. It is all a blast.

This Starbucks is in a VERY busy, VERY chaotic food court-like area of Terminal 5 at Heathrow (nearish gate A9). I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are for, this was probably one of the most pleasant Starbucks experiences I've ever had at any airport. It's a little confusing about where to get in line, but the staff did a great job at calling people forward. I was greeted by a lovely young woman who was all smiles, was engaging and humorous with me about my drink order (which had a very personalizations that frequently get wrong when I'm ordering in person), took the time to repeat my drink order back to me. It just felt like a moment of calm and connection! My drink was made just right; the person who crafted it for me/handed it to me was also friendly! I had loads of time between flights, so I wasn't concerned about how long it took (it didn't seem like I waited long before they were calling my name!). Grabbing a coffee here, a salad from Pret, and finding a place to sit nearish the windows was a great way to spend a couple hours between flights!
