I did not want to invest money into a website that was just going to look pretty. We want traffic. So we met with Signa, listened to their approach and game plan, and was very pleased in what they had to offer. I do not believe in trying to sneak around or trick Google. They share that same belief so I decided to move forward. A month later I had an awesome website, I was stoked. That's not where they impressed me though. SEO Built for the Wrong Market BizIQ built the SEO campaign around Show Low, AZ instead of the Phoenix Metro area, which was the agreed target market. This error went undetected for over six months. For comparison, my previous website -- which had not been updated in three years -- consistently generated approximately 15-30 inquiries per month. The new website generated zero phone calls, texts, contact form submissions, or email inquiries during the 11 months it was active. Even after the SEO targeting error was corrected, results did not improve. I ended my agreement and hired another firm and my experience was night and day. Basically, I lost one-year of potential business because of BizIQ. They have a great marketing plan, they will develop your website, perform a supposed "best in class" SEO campaign, provide a dedicated resource to manage your day to day, offer digital marketing campaigns. A one shop stop. The most important word in that last sentence is STOP. STOP BEFORE YOU GET STARTED. I sent a demand letter requesting a refund for the one year I wasted and $13.8K is spent without a response. Hired a lawyer and they did not respond to their demand letter. I submitted a BBB complaint over a week ago and no response. My next step is Yelp and Google reviews and possibly the Attorney Generals office of Arizona.

So all I have to do is sign a document saying that I won't publicize my story. Well, as hard as it was, I had to reject their offer. And to be clear, we're talking about $1,500 that they owe me which now they admit that they owe me. But the only way I'm getting it is by keeping my mouth shut. So I ask you - if this was a legitimate company, with a legitimate service, would they have to blackmail me like this?
