Both classic and the latest trending in hats, jeans, boots, belts, buckles, button-ups, and so forth. Fincher's isn't enormous but it has a decent kids, womens, and mens section as well as Stockyards souvenirs, from toys to keychains, to shot glasses. All things Texas and western for all ages. The staff here is great. I'm pretty sure a legit cowboy with like 70+ years of ranching experience helped my friend and I find him some boots. We probably would have bought anything this dude tried to sell us, haha, he was very convincing with his western wear knowledge. And a young cowboy at the register helped us pick out pants! My guest and I received our Yelp swag, food and T-shirt tickets. Emma let us spin the prize wheel, and we both won some awesome prizes! I won a much needed stress ball that I absolutely love, while my guest won a Bryan Anthonys squad dainty sun 14K gold necklace, which she generously gifted to me. It's rare that I'm able to attend events during the weekday unless I'm on PTO, so this event came at the perfect time. I was excited that I could bring a guest, which was something I had never done before. We both selected a Tyler's T-shirt, enjoyed chicken shack sandwiches from shake shack, and charred campfire chicken from HG Sply Co. As we walked around, I noticed several great photo opportunities that my guest and I took advantage of. I loved that all of the participating establishments were within walking distance. Thankfully, the weather was cool and peaceful during the event, so walking around wasn't a problem despite the usual Texas heat in July. She was inspired to build this business after she made a dreamcatcher for her newborn daughter. CBG is a "place meant to ignite your creativity and leave you feeling inspired to try something new." A metaphysical, vintage, and gift shop that sells everything whimsical, spiritual, and trendy; from houseplants to crystals, vintage clothing to locally made jewelry, macrame art to bath essentials. You can't help but feel creative in here. CBG participates in all kinds of local events and festivals, and hosts their own as well. Like poetry reading nights, jewelry making, and full moon tea and tarot ceremonies. Lots of creative energy going on! CBG is a place where local artists are able to create and sell pieces, and where any local can come to feel inspired.

My friend…read moreand I stopped by on Friday, February 28, 2025, around 12:30 p.m. As soon as we entered, a blonde woman at the register, wearing an olive green jacket, approached me and began to follow me around the small shop. It was quite apparent that she was keeping a close eye on me. My friend has a lighter skin tone, while I have a darker complexion, and it felt like the staff's attention was directed at me in a negative way. The other employees were also blonde with fair skin, and one had light brown hair but still appeared fair. The woman in the olive green jacket was not monitoring my friend or the other customers, which was disheartening. I had heard from friends in various parts of California about the racism faced by people of color, but I had never personally encountered such unwelcoming treatment until today. The experience I had at the store, where I felt discriminated against because of my darker skin tone, is completely unacceptable and highlights a breakdown in customer service and inclusivity. It was troubling, and I felt singled out and uneasy during my visit, which contradicts the standards of effective customer service and professionalism. When customers feel unwelcome or face discrimination, it can greatly affect their overall experience and may drive them to seek alternatives. In this instance, I decided not to support a business that made me feel unwelcome and discriminated against. I hope the business owner(s) will recognize and address issues of racism or discrimination to foster a safe and inclusive environment. While I understand that businesses have the right to determine how they treat their customers, the way I was mistreated, profiled, and discriminated against is intolerable. I hope this raises awareness for other people of color regarding such behaviors and the lack of customer service they may encounter in this establishment.
