Finally, a new person to the company completed the request and we found that this particular apartment had a view facing a brick wall. So, we opted for another which was 40% smaller and didn't even have a closet. After a bit more searching we ended up signing a few blocks away at Boston East. The apartment we have there isn't 400 sq feet, it's nearly 700 for the same price. The management is on it and very responsive at Boston East.

The units are modern and comfortable. The views are amazing-some of the best in the country-no kidding-check out the roof deck view on the 17th floor. The pool has been the #1 ranked pool in Boston for several years, and it deserves that ranking. The people who work at The Eddy add the icing on the cake. Between the managers, maintenance and 24 hour concierge service, I give it the ranking of A+. We have created so many lasting friendships at The Eddy-3 years have flown by, and we will miss it here. (If you are concerned about the cleanliness of the amenity areas, do not be. The cleaning service cleans several times/day 7 days/week).

The Pros are that we have s sizable apartment (with a guest BR, no less) for a very fair price. The apartment offers a free shuttle van that transports residents to the Aquarium Station during the typical commuting hours. The maintenance staff is responsive and quick to fix any issues with the apartment itself. There is a small gym in the building and an outdoor pool. The Front Desk staff - specifically DeShaun - is very considerate and attentive. On occasion, he's delivered packages right to our door out of the goodness of his heart. We've also asked the management to hold onto keys for us for when family comes to visit - they've always been helpful. We have quiet neighbors too, so that's another plus. There's room for improvement regarding the gym (very worn mats that need replacing) and kettle bells would be an excellent addition. The building is very family-friendly, so sometimes there are children running the halls during schools breaks or summer vacation. During the summertime, the pool is usually taken over by the kiddos too - not an issue because we like kids, but something to note in case you want a "young professionals" vibe. Overall, it meets our expectations and we're happy with the place.

In this time frame, I have already toured other places and found a new apartment!! Does the leasing staff not want to get apartments leased? I really got lucky by not moving here because if they do not communicate prior to me touring how would they be when/ if I moved in? Do not recommend!!

You -might- luck out and not have crappy neighbors but truth of the matter is that the floors and walls are extremely thin and this place was clearly built with cheap materials. You literally hear every single step someone makes above you and good luck getting any sleep if your next door neighbors are playing music or watching videos. Hell, one of my neighbors cranks up her sound-bar and does karaoke as annoyingly as possible every weekend. I now carry immense hatred for karaoke and for whoever bought and approved the building material for this flimsy and overpriced hack of a building. There's no way to sugarcoat this. OneBeachmont is built and managed to feel like an extended-stay hotel. It's clearly meant for people who party and have too much money to piss away. If you're a working professional or have a family -- I would not recommend this place because you won't have any peace or rest. The management doesn't do anything about it because they feel like not everyone is bothered by noise but none of them actually live here, lol. Good luck if you need something in middle of the night because the support number gets you connected to a rep from India who basically tells you that they can't help you but they sure 'understand' how it feels. The upstairs party area on 6th floor is nothing short of a circus-show because it's too many tenants trying to hoard it at the same time. You have insulting (to ears) music overlapping from 4-5 different tenants bluetooth speakers and it's just awful and impossible to enjoy. There was a high turn-over with management (they employ 'gotcha' tactics by shuffling building managers/leasing agents so they're not liable for anything.) and everything feels like a crapshoot. Amazon lockers are convenient but that's about it. Crackheads roam around the parking lot and building at night and you really need to watch your back and your car. Tenants inviting dozens of guests who hoard the pool and lawn area are the worst. Management doesn't have a way to deal with this and you need to expect the worst because that's what you'll get. There should be a limit to how many people you can invite here because the place is seriously far too small and over-crowded. You have 2-3 tenants with large families who roll-in and take over everything so you're better off just going out. Where's your value here when few people hoard all the common areas? The gym is way too small for 300+ tenants. Good luck trying to get anything done because 5-6 people love to hoard the few pieces of gym equipment this place has. Last year we had a tenant who stole equipment and the email that the management sent was laughable. 'We have you on video but we'll give you a chance to come clean to us.' -- There was no video. Nothing is recorded. The cameras they use are only useful during the day and only when someone is there to physically watch what's going on. You really think this place has money to spend on video recordings and bandwidth that it requires? I think other people have commented plenty over how much dog crap is around the building. Some of these owners should really be banned from owning pets. The rent is incredibly and -insultingly- high for what you get here. Things across the street at their sister building Ocean 650 aren't any better. Read the reviews carefully. Covid19 situation was handled horrendously.
