We had two vanities to install, one freestanding tub (both replacing the drain and valves), install the faucet for the new kitchen sink, and install a new garbage disposal. The cost was about the same, but the difference was that the plumbers worked with me showing me what I could do to keep the cost down. With the vanities - they replaced the valve, they then told me the steps to complete the vanity install to attach it to the wall. In the kitchen, one of the valves leaked. They suggested watching it, and if it leaked, they would replace it when they finished with the tub - it didn't. My son replaced the valve for the tub, and we were able to get all our plumbing needs done within our budget.

I initially went with a different plumber that talked about great customer service on the first call (red flag?) but disappeared after paying for an inspection. When I hired Lamar Plumbing, I didn't mention my experience with the first plumber. They did the same inspection for less money. They did a better job, with much better customer service. After the inspection, there was a lot more physical work to be done to fix the issue. Lamar Plumbing priced it competitively. They did the job quickly and without *any* issues. I don't think you will regret choosing them.

I would give them zero stars, if that were an option…read more Less than a year ago, I had them come out to my home and after an inspection, they convinced me to buy a whole new air conditioning unit, costing several thousand dollars, which of course they sold me. Since then their unit has broken twice, leaving me in the heat with an excessive electric bill. Their staff showed up at my house without part to fix their previous bad workmanship, meaning I have to miss even more work to let them in to try to fix their previous mistakes. They are not just incompetent, they are rude as well. The only reason I even still deal with them is due to their warranty. Between needless days missed at the office, wasted electricity costs, and discomfort, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Ever. If you are in need of the services they provide, do yourself and your wallet a real favor, and hire real professionals who work and act like professionals. Avoid this bunch of inept clowns at all cost. They're awful.
