Today was my 2nd time in. The first time I went in, I had a "be buzzed" smoothie and didn't like the flavor. But I wanted to give them a second chance. Today I had "be vanilla" and every third sip I got blue and white paper in my mouth! Yuk!!!! It's a cute shop but expensive and lacking some quality control. read more

Pricey but worth it. This is the only place like this close to home in Fort Walton. We moved from Arizona (where you could get fresh juices and bowls on every corner) to this awful place with no fresh food! So we hit this gem up every time we are in Destin. The service is good as well, the staff is knowledgable about the product. They aren't even rude when we come in really close to closing. read more

Formula Fresh is by far my food stop in Destin! Mary McWilliams and Delaney Barton are the best servers there! Formula Fresh is super clean and super fresh all the time and is a great snack before AND after a hot day at the beach! They give rewards to frequent customers and display a positive working environment. read more

The products were nice, but after putting in my order at 12:44 (and only waiting in line behind 1 person) I didn't receive my order until 1:34. A 50 minute wait because they aren't well staffed, and they only had one girl working by taking orders and making smoothies at the same time. read more

Iv been there twice. Poor selection of pressed juice. Only about four to choose from on each visit. The first time we ordered coffee and they had no milk. Expensive coffee , when you can't enjoy it. The staff each time were forgettable, not rude but certainly not very friendly. I'm sure it will continue to have business due to location and being one of the only pressed juice in town , it's just disappointing, it could be so much better. read more

I come here all the time, I love their bowls! Especially when they're made by Brooklynn she always makes sure to make my bowls the best! I guess B in Brooklynn stands for the best bowls ;). An awesome environment and the workers like Brooklynn make it seem super homey and fun! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The açaí bowls are great and always super fresh. I get the shorty and it is so good every time! the employees are so sweet, delaney helped me last time and she was so helpful! read more

What a great açaí bowl! I loved it! Mary made it perfectly & was so nice! Smoothies are great too! Our family loved it!

It's a healthy food place here in Destin. Really innovative in that they sell custom made milk or Mylk as its labeled. There's 4 different kinds. The down side is they are very expensive. Smoothies are 7.50 for a small and 9.50 for a large read more

Formula Fresh - They have bottles of Mylk as they call it. This one tastes very good - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Destin, Florida

I stumbled upon this place, & I'm so happy I did! They have a huge variety of different options for everyone! One of my best friends is vegan and is from North Carolina & visiting soon and I'm SO happy that I found somewhere we can both enjoy! I got the smoothie with the cold brew coffee yesterday and had to go back this morning for the detox bowl because it was just that good!! I honestly can't wait to try everything else! 10/10 would recommend read more

Very aggravating when you show up 45 minutes before closing, and the store is already locked up with workers just sitting and talking. One of them even mouthed "sorry." I have worked in the food industry for many years and I understand 15 mins before closing, but 45 mins is ridiculous. read more

Delicious! I've only been in Destin for a few days & have visited Formula Fresh twice! I love their super food smoothies, fresh juices & acai bowls all made with fresh quality ingredients boosting the nutritional value. I don't mind paying for "superb" quality. Staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Decor is crisp & welcoming! Don't miss visiting Formula Fresh.....You'll love it! read more

We arrived in Destin from Dallas and ready for cold healthy drink. Our neighbor mentioned Formula Fresh and we were sold from the first visit. We were there for 5 days and went to FF 5x's. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable with all drinks, ingredients and coffee selections. Not only were the drinks healthy (favorite~"Be Buzzed") but also delicious! Sometimes it's hard to find a healthily drink that taste yummy. Our grandchildren liked the drinks as well. We are back in Dallas and I'm going online today to purchase their Smoothie packs so we can make them at home. read more

This place is beyond wonderful if you like these bowls. They offer about 8 different ones that are all great. The preparation is fantastic with plenty of fruit and goodies on top of the bottom cold mix. They have great juices also. They even have a loyalty club that provides a freebie after 10 orders. Great to have on a hot day or when you want something refreshing yet filling. Staff are beyond nice and everyone we have had had has been perfect. They will split a bowl for an extra $3 that has toppings on each. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

This is a cute little smoothie shop. Their smoothies were delicious but customer service was horrible. We wanted to get a wrap but instead of the whole grain wrap we wanted a lettuce wrap. They just told us they don't have any lettuce and didn't even try to work with us. Also their paleo cookies were good but I don't know if you could call them paleo because the lady told me they used to have rice in them but then they switched it to a gluten free flour. Just because it's gluten free doesn't mean it's paleo, so that was unclear. This place has potential just wish they were a little nicer and smiled to their customers! read more

Acai bowls are amazing and I'm so happy they opened up this place. The reason why I'm only giving this place 3 stars is because their shop hours. 5 out of the 10 times, they have been closed for various reasons such as being gone to get more fruit and milk because they ran out, lunch breaks (which should show on store hours on website), and now they closed for "the holidays." I understand closing the day of holidays but not for two whole weeks. Also, a business should not been running out of supplies. It just shows they are unprepared, poor management, or understaffed. Hopefully this place can be better informing customers about when they are open and closed. read more

I have seen smoothie bowels for a while & this is the first time I got to try one. After reading all the reviews I figured I would try it out. Service was fast and polite. Now the Beach Smoothie Bowel is $10.00 even so I was a little nervous but it was the best thing I've had in Destin. It's cold & sweet! And enough that my daughter and I shared it. I highly recommend stopping by to try one while your in the area. read more

Love this place! All the fresh juices are great (top choices include Be Summer and Detox Lemonade). Smoothies and homemade paleo snacks are much appreciated. Finally a place with some truly healthy options. I am there usually 2x a week!! The Commons is a great location! read more

Absolutely loved this place! I was in Destin for 5 days and ate there every day. The staff was extremely friendly and the environment was perfect. I eat paleo and they were very flexible with their menu items. They had pre-made paleo treats which were also a win. Would recommend to anyone in the area. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and would love a place like this near me! read more

Food is really good but it takes a very unreasonable amount of time to get your order. 15 minutes for avocado toast, and 45 minutes and counting for an acai bowl. Hasn't made any apologies for the wait and they stopped to chat with their friend who was in the store. read more

Great, fresh smoothie and food options. Even for kiddos! Love having a healthy option for hungry bellies.

overall this place was very very good!! i got the cacao one which i wasn't a fan of but i think that this is simply due to personal taste. my friend got the coconut one and it was really good. i also got a carrot juice which was good. this place also has a very nice atmosphere which i enjoyed. they have games to play while you wait for your food. next time i'm in destin i'll definitely be back!! :) read more
