Nice store to get your everyday grocery. You will surely save some $$. Try it out..

I just visited this place for the first time 5 days ago, and they're MASSIVE!! Much, much more bigger, and friendlier than Safeway. This is the best place to go for your shopping trip, they've got EVERYTHING!! Can't wait to stop by again! read more

The produce is fresh and tasty (although I don't buy some things unless they are on sale $$$). The selection is great! The best part of this place is the customer service. Everyone seems happy and eager to help. Bonus... they have 2 seats in the shopping carts. Love this place! read more

This is our store, go there all the time, has what i need and has a bakery that i like.

I love this store! A lot of the same items as in The Nugget, but better prices, including their wine selection. The Fork Lift is my 'go to' grocery store in Cameron Park. read more

I love the store and the stuff this is my favorite place to go shopping and the only negative is by the time I come out of the store my clothing smell like burnt and or charted BBQ read more

I love this store!!! Surprised at all the bad reviews. It is the only place we shop. It has great prices and friendly staff. I hate the local Bel Air. It is overpriced and their snotty young employees are rude. Safeway is too expensive. Food 4 Less is the best alternative for our area. My only complaint would be that it needs an Express Lane. read more

I had just moved to the area and had a choice between three local supermarkets: Food 4 Less, Safeway, and Bel Air. I go inside Food 4 Less, check out the prices and walk out saying "Food 4 Less my ass! Forget this!" Although they have a great selection of products I've never seen before and extremely friendly staff, their name doesn't match their prices. I now make the 20 minute drive all the way to Winco in Folsom. 'nuff said. read more

I'm so fortunate to have this store nearby. It has great items, the Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's clean and well stocked. Check them out!! read more

Like it says on the sign, this is a low cost grocery store and pretty good selection for the area. I was missing some of the deli and specialty items offered by more traditional grocery stores in the area, so this place still isn't my one stop shop for all my food stuffs. read more

Huge fan for the Nugget Market/Food For Less. Staff is friendly and they get to know who you are. The owner is doing EVERYTHING right HUGE SUCCESS. Very excited for the name change to Food For Less.. which is going to bring so much more a FULL deli counter and Full meat counter. Just hope this store starts to carry what the nugget has to offer in chicken selections. Safeway in the Cameron Park area is dirty and gross.. lived up here for 15 years we relocated from the bay area. just never found a bakery that i was really happy with.. Nugget Market has been awesome, so sure the NEW name "Fork Lift" nugget market will offer the same. Don't be scared of the name change..its a positive thing owner is no longer has to carry the Franchise name and is able to offer what he wants. Their own personal touch. Clean, friend and QUALITY selections. read more

Great home cooked food with nice yummy homemade pastries! The owners are super friendly and very helpful! Wednesday they have Totem coffee for 25cents read more

Good selection, quick checkout, friendly staff, wish deli area was a little better over all.

I've lived in Cameron Park for years and this is hands down the best place to grocery shop in town. The quality of the meats and produce is excellent. The store is super clean and well-organised. The employees are helpful and happy....unlike the regional and nationwide supermarket chains. They are currently transitioning to a higher end store but I am glad to see that they are keeping their good-value products. Once I was charged the wrong price for a melon (they rang it up as a more expensive type of melon) and when I went to customer service, they refunded the full price and let me keep the melon! Can't beat that for customer service. read more

Really nice addition to the community. Prices are good. Deli and meat counter are fabulous. The produce area needs attention, moldy fruits and veggies in the pre-sliced area and outdated packages. Lots of variety on the shelves pleasant staff for the most part, a real pleasure to shop, there read more

Great supermarket! Didn't know what the heck this place was when I first went in. The best thing is how nice every one is. Seriously the nicest people I've ever encountered in a supermarket!! I go to the deli to get sandwiches when making day trips to Tahoe and they are so nice, they wrap it in a ziplock for me. Feels like mom making me a sandwich. I wish there was a Fork Lift nearby in the bay area! read more

Good store. Kind of a blend of a Nugget and a Sam's club, if that makes sense. You can find a lot of high quality groceries in the aisles and the staff is super helpful. Plus they carry Kicking Horse coffee. Will shop regularly for some items there. read more

Best grocery store ever! They have something for everyone. If you shop Organic this will be your new favorite spot! They also have tons of eco friendly home and body products. I love the selection of soaps it's the same products as whole foods but a better price. read more

Love this store... food is a little pricey at times.. but they have a wide variety of foods and their desserts are to DIE FOR! Love walking through the Aisles... the butchers are really nice too and if you ask a question on how to cook the meat they are more than happy to explain it to you and some will even write it down for you! read more

So disappointed in our recent purchase of a coconut cream pie. We had not really tried the bakery before because their bakery items are quite pricey. But, we thought it may be worth the price for a really tasty pie. Without exaggeration, it was the most tasteless pie we have ever had. Even worse, the "cream" whipped topping left us all feeling as though it was really slightly sweetened whipped lard. We all really wanted to love it, but wished we would have left it. read more

Came here for ice cream and beer. Found 12 packs of Redds Apple Ale and Newcastle for only $10.49. Ice cream was only $2.99. That is my kind of store! read more

I really love this store. They have a GREAT selection and tons of organics!! The clerks are really nice and helpful and I love the deli. I'm not a big grocery store fa, but I just like this store :) read more

Great organic selection and very friendly staff! (Kids get free cookies from the bakery)

Best grocery store in Cameron park. Their produce is always fresh and more variety than other stores. The bakery has plenty to choose from and also fresh. Butcher has a plenty of selection and very helpful. Entire staff is friendly and glad to assist you. Beer and wine section is large for a grocery store. A little more expensive than other places, but worth it for the customer service and quality products read more

This place is awesome. A little overpriced, but well worth it for the unique items they sell. Im a huge fan of their beer selection, they have tons of local choices that make any beer advocate wide-eyed. The place reminds me of a classy Foodmaxx with its vast ceilings and wide isles. read more

Wow amazing customer service fist time visiting from san Francisco and lo e it the store is the cleanest most organized I've ever seen. I want to thank Brandon M. I think it said on his tag in the meat department over the top nicest I my mom wanted to get meat and only speaking Spanish I walked over to help and he had it wasn't making it difficult best treatment ever from him thank you. Another guy next to him was helping someone else I was listening and I realized they're all nice!!! I wish we had one of this in the bay area read more

Went there for ready made soup. Left with 3 different kinds and French bread. Delicious!!

great selection and the salad bar is awesome. A little pricey but good quality.

I love Fork Lift! I've driven past this for years when I lived in Folsom and had no idea what it was. It's a grocery store by the Nugget! Love their salad bar and their selection. Prices are very reasonable and they have great deals. Food selection is fresh! read more

I like to shop there because everybody seems to be so happy including the employees everybody smile it's just a happy place to go shopping good prices good produce good pastries read more

Aside from how pricy this place is compared to it formerly being Food for LESS I have to say I am impressed. Employees are some of the nicest and the lines are never very long. The deli and bakery are amazing and I have to say the atmosphere is actually really nice for a big huge warehouse. I like their selection of foods- they have all of the normal things and brands you would expect to see at a grocery store but they have a few things extra from local farms or companies which I appreciate. read more

Best grocery store for great produce, good prices on the staples as well as lots of tempting premium foods. Always impressed with sausage of the week and the other prepared food behind the deli counter read more

I love shopping at Forklift. Good prices, great quality items and super nice people.

There has been a huge improvement in the customer service. This review is changing from 1 star to 4. It seems they have gotten the message. The last few cashiers I have used have been intelligent, polite and upbeat. A big change from the condescending people who had helped me in the past. With their selection, organic, pastured and nonGMO options, and those fantastic people working the meat counter, I will be coming back more for sure. I seriously used to get anxiety right before checking out. Now I just have slight apprehension, and with this quality of service, I hope in the coming months, I can change it from 4 stars to 5, for consistent outstanding service. Thanks Forklift! read more

Wandered in tonight mostly out of curiosity and was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the striking visual layout of the store and the variety of items that I had never seen before. I had no idea that Amy's made so many different kinds of soup, for instance, and had never seen so many Red Mill products at any store. It seemed like a more reasonably priced Whole Foods. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. I don't live around there but I'll go back whenever I can! read more

Fork Lift is something else, this store stands out from the rest. You can tell by the way the store is always clean and how the produce is always on point. I was a Safeway shopper for years til I stubbled across Fork Lift. I love the selection you have and the many items that I find in my recipes that I have never heard of. Every time I have questions there is always someone there to help. The vibe at this store is very positive and uplifting. When going through the meat department, you can always hear them singing and having a great time. That just shows how they are treated. I've shopped other places and that's not always the case, a lot look unhappy but not at Fork Lift. I love going through the check stands because I get real conversation employees that really want to know how your day is and they really care. I will always be a loyal shopper here at Fork Lift. Thank you for giving us a positive grocery experience in the foothills. read more

Like a lot of families, our is trying to get a bit healthier with our eating habits. As we all know, most health oriented grocery stores tend to be extremely pricey. Fork Lift is a great option. The organics are very fairly priced and they have a large variety of options (often not the case with this type of store). The produce has been top-notch as well as the meat department. read more

Great store with low prices. Everything I need is here and very easy to navigate through the store. Shop here every week and they have a great beer selection. read more

i come here a lot for sandwiches and it's my favorite place to go. the sandwiches here are actually cheaper than going to the nugget market in EDH. the staff are super nice and great at making recommendations if i decide to try something new. read more
