    Classic Ike steak Sandwich

Their classic Ike steak sandwich is amazing as are the fried zucchini, french fries and onion rings. Great place for fresh food.

5/5! Fork it is the definition of "hole in the wall" as this place is just a window and a cash register on the inside. To-go only. Man was this place so good! The tri tip sandwich with bacon and cheese (Big D) was one of the best tri tip sandwiches I've had in a long time. The tri tip was tender and very juicy as they marinate it for 48 hours! The sandwich and an order (big to-go box) of fries was around $16. Great price for todays standards and for as good as a sandwich it was! Can't wait to go back! If I lived closer I'd definitely be a regular.

Customer service is important. Especially when a business wants to overcharge for mediocre food. Please see the lovely response this business gave to my previous, very generous, 3 star review and remember that this is the energy you will be greeted with if you choose to patronize this location. Also, if you are in this area and searching Yelp for a good meal, I highly recommend Five Star Burger which has better prices, better food and much better customer service. Happy eating. ***Original Review*** With all the great reviews, we just had to try this place! We stopped for lunch and spent over $60 after tax and tip for two sandwiches ($17 each) one order of garlic fries ($5) and a pie ($8). I ordered the cowboy for myself and I was starving so I dug right in before remembering to take a photo but the Big D Steak, Garlic fires and mint pie are shown. My husband liked his steak sandwich and said it was 4 stars for sure but our fries were cold and soggy. The pie was ok and so was my burger but if I'm being honest, we did not feel like we got what we paid for. The business itself has a very closed off feel with the confined space and ordering through a window; it's just not welcoming. We would probably not return to this location based on our experience, however I understand that I am in the minority based on all the good reviews here. I'm really glad others are enjoying and supporting this small business and I wish them lots of luck and success.

I've been wanting to come back and try the chicken from here because I can tell that they make it themselves rather than deep frying some pre-cooked frozen wings and passing them off as freshly made wings. Some of these restaurants around here just kill me with the wording that they use, but anyways, I can tell that the food from Fork It is made fresh, especially after ordering food and eating it, it's obviously made by someone who has skills in the kitchen and puts their heart in to making delicious food for us. I really appreciate his passion for selling the best options possible. I wish this was a sit down restaurant, I would come a lot more often. My boyfriend has to eat low sodium, so I can't bring food home that isn't low sodium because as much as he does well eating the kind of food he supposed to eat it's just too tempting when the other food is nearby him and more times than not. He will eat that food as well and then I feel guilty and he's feeling horrible because of them eating the wrong kind of food, so unless I want to eat in my car, it's not that easy to get food from a place like this. I made an exception today and I ordered the wings which come with fries and I asked for ranch dressing on the side which is also homemade ranch dressing or hidden valley, ranch packets, ranch dressing, which to me is homemade and it's the best, I also got a Keylime pie and an Oreo cheesecake. My total was kind of expensive it was about $32 maybe $34 somewhere around there the amount that I was told kind of because I didn't expect it to be that high after realizing I did get desserts , so I know it's not going to be cheap, so I'm OK with it. It just kind of threw me off at first which I guess it shouldn't have, the Keylime pie is to die for, I want to go back and get all of them now but I haven't seen it lately.

Why is this place not blowing up all over social media!?! Listen up 209 foodies these guys are the real deal every item that we tried was a hit - no misses!!! This was my first time ordering but the guy I talked to was super nice answered all my menu questions and took my order over the phone. We tried the Ike's classic and the Valley Cluck sandwiches both marinated for 48hrs both come on Genova's milk rolls if ykyk and we tried the weekly special it was Shrimp Basket with fries and we tried two pies the coconut cream and key lime. Every single item was full of flavor and just done right and the portions were made for big backery if ykyk This is one of those places where you just eat and eat even though you know you full but it's just so good you gotta take one more bite. When you walk in there's a big digital menu for easy ordering and a display case so you can see the days pies and cheesecakes because you eat first with your eyes and everything here looks as good as it tastes!! I love the way they packaged my order full of homemade dipping sauces with plenty of napkins and utensils. Do yourself a favor and try this place we plan to try every item on the menu and we can't wait until it gets a little colder and they start making soups!!!

Sorry, I was so eager to eat this before taking a picture of my "Santa Maria Tri Tip Valley" sandwich.

We were looking for someplace different for lunch today and I asked Yelp for popular lunch places. "Fork it" was first on the list with 5 stars. I checked the reviews and it sounded like a pretty good place to try out. I have never been there before, so I thought I was going to the wrong place because I was driving on Don Ave. and through residential housing. But just as I was going to turn around, there was a small business area with a Circle K store and some other businesses and "Fork it" nestled in between. This business is strictly take out only. When I stepped in, there was the counter with plexi counter protection, a great big US flag hanging on the wall (nice!) and the board with all the food offerings. The young man at the counter was very nice and polite and as he was taking my order, The Owner/Chef stepped out and welcomed me and was telling me about the freshly delivered Genova bread that they always serve their sandwiches on, and the pies he makes daily. He showed me the different types of pies that looked delicious but I had to pass this time. No doubt this Chef takes great pride in his food and desserts. Getting back to what I ordered, the Big D and Santa Maria tri tip, 12" of course. My tri tip was packed with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, provolone cheese and of course lots of tri tip! So deliciously seasoned and tender on the soft Genova bread, I could only eat half. The price seems high but the sandwich is well worth it. (If you go to any fast food place, you are already spending $30+. Also, this is so much better than fast food.) I highly recommend this sandwich/burger shop. Support small businesses, especially when they make great tasting food! I'll have to come back and try their chocolate, banana cream, lemon, coconut creme or pecan pie next time!

*PSA*: DO NOT MISS OUT ON NIKA'S MAD SWEETS!…read more Life is short, eat dessert first! And that was exactly what I intended to do when I was blessed with the fact that Nika's IG popped up on my FYP and had me drooling at the sight of all of her delicious creations. If you've heard about the quaint local Stockton Whimsy Market, you would know that Nika and her small business that consists of her adorable family, have a booth regularly at this market. I set out to go to the next one lined up and when I arrived I made a beeline for her booth. You know something lives up to it's hype if the lines are long! To be honest, waiting in line added to the anticipation of trying out the lineup she had that evening. Her husband was the one taking orders and not only was he kind but he made great small talk. It was a nice added personal touch. I'm all about community and getting to know people so when people take the time to greet you and chat, it goes a long way. I went home with their Best Selling Award Winning Ube White Chocolate Blondie. I've been hooked ever since. Did you know that she also makes custom cakes? No? Well now you do! Nika is an absolute sweetheart! I was so nervous to reach out to her on IG for my daughter's birthday cake. I had spoken to her on IG here and there before asking and was pleasantly surprised that she's the type of small business to engage with her followers. It made it a lot easier for me to ask if she would do me the honor of making my daughters 1st professionally made themed birthday cake for her 3rd birthday. Of course she agreed and she was so wonderful during the whole process of listening to what I had envisioned for the design, whilst also giving me great ideas and even had her friend also make a beautiful cake topper for it. I went for a classic chocolate cake with a swiss meringue butter cream and it was a hit at my daughter's party! Ever since then I've actively been trying out new sweets any chance I get and have fallen in love with so many more. After the Ube White Chocolate Blondie, my next favorite would have to be her Sweet Corn Mochi! She has such a variety of desserts that you'll never get tired of what she has to offer and believe me when I say, you'll continue to consistently come back for your favorites and new creations she comes up with! I'm floored that I'm the first one to review her small business, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's not worth trying. TRUST when I say RUN do not WALK at the opportunity to grab some delicious desserts and sweets. I promise just browsing through her IG alone will seal the deal for you! Her IG handle is: @nikasmadsweets! You can't buy happiness, but you can buy desserts and that's kind of the same thing! I'm the first to review so don't come for me that this was "too long!" I'm genuinely a huge fan and supporter of this small business! .

I'm so happy because I got my cheesecake today and it's absolutely freakin amazing. It's everything…read moreI was hoping for and more. I used to get my cheesecake fix from a restaurant in Woodbridge that made it homemade and it was very good, until the restaurant was sold and the new owners aren't continuing to sell it. Well I shouldn't say they aren't selling cheesecake because I'm not sure if they are or not, but I was told the homemade cheesecake will not be available from now on there. So I've been looking high and low, from city to city and going as far as Modesto to find a replacement. I wasn't satisfied still so as I visit new areas one of the 1st things I always check on 1st is if there is a local place that has the "best" cheesecake. I've come across some decent cheesecake but I still hadn't found one as good as my favorite cheesecake in Woodbridge. That is until I came across Jennifer. I was searching on Yelp once again and came across her Yelp page once again and thought it was time to take the plunge and contact Jennifer to order one of her cheesecakes. I hadn't called her yet because there wasn't a reason for me ordering an entire cheesecake and felt like it's a bit much to order myself an entire cheesecake. But after so many failed attempts I felt like it was time, after all maybe I can freeze it for future cravings. I let her know I love crust and was requesting a thicker one. She ended up asking me if I wanted my cheesecake to have a crust on top so that way I'd have crust on the top and bottom. I told her it sounded good and I really appreciated the fact that she took into consideration what I told her I liked. So today I got my cheesecake and I couldn't be any happier. It's creamy just like I prefer and there's definitely a lot of good crust. I'm so happy to have found Jennifer and look forward to getting more from her in the future. From what I saw on Yelp she makes really good treats. If you're looking for great cheesecake or other desserts you really don't need to look any further, I'm positive that you'll be more then happy with what you order from Jennifer. She's also very friendly and of course accommodating obviously. That's better then any bakery I've ever went to. There's nothing better then getting the exact dessert that you've been craving. Happy cheesecake eating to me. Bon Appétit

For the non-coffee drinkers, they offer matcha, matcha flights, lemonades, refreshers, teas, smoothies and energy drink mixers. The service is great! They are extremely fast serving drinks & food. There was a handful of people in line before me, all seeming to order some kind of latte or matcha. I was almost convinced but I always steer towards an Adeni Chai when at a Yemeni Cafe. I'd describe it as a black milk tea with spices. Make sure to ask for your preferred sweetness as it isn't sweetened by default. The Adeni Chai was served insanely hot but, I enjoyed it when it cooled down and it was great. I tried the Honeycomb Bread (warmed) and would more than likely skip next time. It was a bit more mushy than the other Honeycomb breads I've had in the past. There's a parking lot which is always convenient and there are seats inside if you want to enjoy your treats there.
