We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! Disappointing experience despite a fresh and new business relationship. We have used this catering…read morecompany for multiple corporate events and have spent considerable money with them. Historically, the food and service have been very good, which makes our experience with our most recent BBQ event particularly disappointing. The weather was questionable the morning of the event, so we understood the decision to precook the burgers and brats. However, the weather ultimately cooperated, and the event proceeded as planned. We specifically requested that we use at least one large gas grill we provided, even if only to keep the grill/char lines going, but that did not happen. The catering team arrived on time, but the setup was not completed as expected. Two chefs who had originally been scheduled to be onsite to cook the food ultimately spent much of the event standing around with very little involvement. More importantly, the food was served lukewarm to cold even though it arrived in hotboxes, and some food was undercooked/raw. The sternos were not lit until well after the food had been set up and less than 10 minutes before mealtime, which did little to address the temperature problem. For the price we paid, the quality of service and temperature of the food were simply not acceptable. I immediately raised my concerns with the event planner after the event. When I didn't receive a follow-up, I emailed to express our disappointment. To the event planner's credit, she responded and said the owner wanted to address the matter personally and would contact me after returning from out of town. That was over a month ago, and we have still received no communication. A coworker who also helps coordinate our company events separately contacted her point of contact at the company, but also received no response. What is most disappointing is not simply that one event did not meet expectations. We have been a significant repeat customer, and we expected our concerns to be acknowledged and addressed professionally. Instead, we received no follow-up at all. We have had good experiences with this caterer in the past, which is why this situation has been frustrating. Unfortunately, the combination of cold food, a lack of attention during the event, and zero follow-up afterward has made us decide to seek catering elsewhere for our corporate events.

I had Bibbs cater a backyard 'social distancing' bbq. The guests could not stop raving about the…read morefood.. many went for seconds and thirds.. they kept asking where I got it from (I made sure they got a card, Chris! :) ). We had the pulled pork, mac and cheese, special recipe chicken, salad and coleslaw. EVERYTHING was delicious. I only have a few leftovers and can't wait to eat them! On top of the great food, the service was fantastic! Everything came as ordered, right on time (seriously..down to the minute), and the delivery was super clean and professional (important in days of Covid). Extra special care was taken for cleanliness by the deliverer (gloves, mask, considerate distancing), and he was very professional. The presentation was also great as the packaging was perfect and orderly... with thoughtful utensils and sizing. Placing the order (questions/menu review/etc) was also a top notch experience. In summary: food was as good as it gets/customer service was as good as it gets. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I will absolutely use Bibbs Backyard BBQ again! Thanks Chris and team!

Now for the food- all of our guests couldn't stop raving about the food- they loved it all, from the pulled pork(the sauce that comes with it is simply amazing), to the two types of Mac and Cheese, to the roasted potatoes- all exceeded the expectations we had, which were high to begin with. Matt has always been exceptionally responsive and proactive in understanding our requirements to ensure our event runs smoothly. Drawing from our past events, he offered great recommendations on our order to keep everything on schedule. Timeliness is critical for our outing, and Relish delivered ahead of schedule at every single turn: Check-in: Scheduled for 7:30 AM, but they were fully set up and ready by 7:15 AM. Lunch: Scheduled for 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM, but pre-made wraps and chips were completely prepped by 10:45 AM. Post-Round Appetizers: Slated for 1:30 PM, but when our golfers finished early, Relish seamlessly pivoted and was ready for us by 1:00 PM. I'm writing this now because someone just reminded me again yesterday a month later how wonderful the event was, how great the food was,how hospitable Rocco and his staff were and how absolutely fun the sporting theme turned out to be. We even were invited to utilize their patio so we brought bag games and other activities to play out there. That's pretty good when a month after the Event people are still talking about. I highly recommend if not hosting an event on a Sunday at Sporty's then by all means at least cater from them, they have outstanding food!! We have used them multiple times at our church events and even more times at family events. You will not be sorry. Stop and try the food you'll go back for more for sure.
