UDr.Hasseeb was the urologist on-call when I was admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital in kidney…read morefailure. He took care of me during five emergency hospital admissions, and in the months since. My previous urologist is located in Columbia, MD, but had no admitting privileges in Frederick, so I have been grateful I have been cared for in the same empathetic manner as I experienced previously. Dr. Hasseeb has been patient with my husband, who, for many months, was my advocate with the various providers who took care of me while I was hospitalized. Now that I'm home, I am unable to leave it because of mobility problems. PLUS, UTIs and kidney problems do a number on memory and, with me, disposition. Since time has passed and I have become more my oldvself, he has seen me via video conference call and has been proactive in helping me deal with recurrent and antibiotic-resistant infections. He has been caring, concerned and uniformly helpful. I would highly recommend seeking his or his associate's services. Additionally, my dealings with his office staff have always been helpful; they remember me, take excellent msgs, and make sure my messages have been delivered in a timely manner. I have enjoyed meeting and continuing to interact with this empathetic provider.

Dr. Haseebuddin is probably a fine and great Dr but when you get referred to him from Frederick…read moreMemorial Hospital because you ended up in the ER for a kidney stone, and then you never see him for said issue, that's a problem. His PA rushed me through both the initial appointment and follow up appointment. For having just gone through the worst pain of my life (I know, it's "just" a kidney stone, but they're awful!), I expected a bit more care and attention from a Urologist's office. Also, don't even try to contact their office. If you have appointment or insurance or billing issues you'll speak to someone who didn't identify themselves at the start of the call so you don't know if you're speaking to the correct person. And his support staff might as well be a corporate call center and not a family office. There's nothing "family" about Family Urology. If Dr. haseebuddin is such a great Dr, he really needs to reassess his support staff and structure because it's impossible to work with his team.

TL;DR version -- avoid Dr. Andrew Jones at this practice…read more I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother, who was treated by nurse practitioners and PA's in this office for 8 years but earlier this year after the treatment she had received prior no longer worked and she had extreme pain, she was advised to see a doctor. I will start by saying my father has also seen Dr. Jones a few times and actually had him perform a total right knee replacement earlier this year and has had a full recovery. Outside of Jones being illusive in answering the question on when my dad could begin driving again in a post-op visit, he had a mostly positive experience with him. But after the experience my mom had, he's considering leaving Jones' care as well. At her first visit with Jones, he diagnosed her hip condition advised PT and exercise. She went to PT and as they started to work with her, she again experienced severe pain and the PT advised an MRI and to have someone with an unbiased opinion review as she didn't think the pain was in her hip but in her back. My mom did as she suggested and had Dr. Matthews (in this practice) review the MRI who diagnosed her with a few back problems and advised that she see a pain specialist. My mom scheduled the earliest available appointment, 2+ months later. She scheduled another appt. with Jones to discuss her pain in the interim. My mom went in and asked the simple question, "is the pain being caused by my hip or my back?" Well, it seems as though other medical professionals providing second opinions on patient care rubs this guy the wrong way. He was incredibly unprofessional, going on a tirade about the opioid epidemic in this country and essentially acused my mom of being a pill seeker. My mother can barely walk up the stairs and struggles sleeping through the night, I assure you she's simply seeking relief from her daily pain and to sleep better. He also demanded that she go sit in her PCP's office until they gave her sleeping pills (after this, she consulted with them and they told her it was Jones who had to manage the pain). My mother walked out in the midst of her appointment in tears and is now seeing a doctor outside of Frederick who is actively working with her to manage her pain and determining next steps in her treatment.

I made an appointment for a procedure that I need to have for personal reasons, and he was so knowledgeable and personable. When I arrived the front desk nurse, Mary was so helpful and friendly, and Tracy the nurse was super nice as well. I appreciated the time that he took for the consultation and with establishing a plan for me and my care. I especially, appreciated that he was concerned about my and my plans for the weight loss. He was not trying to make a "rash" decision, but really understood me culturally because of my heritage and how my cooking and eating habits has influenced a my weight. Also, he recommended a weight loss course to help me change my mindset so that it's a holistic change in lifestyle. If you're looking for care that is related to the "gastro" / stomach he is phenomenal! This office is organized and thorough and I'm so happy to be a patient of this office. I highly recommend them.
