I keep…read moregetting letters in the mail from debt collectors trying to collect payment for a mammogram that was done in Feb 2022. I have documentation from when they finally ran it thru my insurance, after multiple phone calls back in 2022, that it was paid by my insurance company. The phone number for Radiology Associates of Frederick, on the website says it's out of service. My understanding from one of the staff members at FMH Rosehill was that Radiology Associates just up and went out of business.

Community Radiology does a fine job in scheduling and completing the radiology orders but I sure…read moremiss the FMH radiology department's rapid review and communicating of results to patients. I was used to getting blood test results and sometimes CT/MRI results within 24 hours. Not any more with CR, and when patients are anxious, the long wait of days can be very hard, especially with serious conditions like cancer. Community should hire more radiologists to complete their reviews in a more timely manner.

I showed up on the day of the service with a printout from my insurance company showing how much it should cost. I also had a person name I spoke with and a reference number from my insurance company. I made it very, very, very, very clear when I checked in that I would pay no more for this service than what was represented to me by my insurance company. The Community rep stepped away from the counter and disappeared for over 15 minutes and came back saying "all is fine" your portion of the bill will be the $29. Fast forward about a week after...and...SHOCKER...I get a bill for $234. It has been nearly 60 days, 6 phone calls to Community Radiology, one call to my insurance company. My insurance company calling, faxing and mailing the Explanation of Benefits to Community Radiology and me emailing it 9 times to Community Radiology and it is finally resolved. I found the reps on the phone to be out of this country, poorly trained and incredibly dumb. Again, the procedure was fine, the post billing service was beyond poor.

Little did I know The Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick, Maryland, changed my wife insurance [which I was on at the time[ from Cigna, to Atna which is garbage, and Atna finds every reason to not cover you. I later found Atna DID NOT cover this XRay. Moving forward, I kept getting billed and I kept playing games with the Community radiology Billing Dept. They kept saying they will look into my problem, and just kept rebilling me . Now the 350 I would have owed them is 750. I still have no help, but they are begging for money AND MOST LIKLY WILL TURN ME OVER TO COLLECTIONS. To anyone reading this 1. Verify that they take your insurance [at this time,UP FRONT]. 2. Never put a deposit or any money down up front, they will keep it and bill YOU not your insurance. 3.Get a second and third opinion, before going for any elected X Rays that THEY say you need. 4. Read Yelp reviews because if they did it to me, they will do it to you! They do not care about your X Rays or health, ONLY how they can get paid! FYI the knee joint they insisted needed surgery has healed, and I can walk 3 miles on it with no problems. I am sad to have to post 1 star to leave a review. Community Radiology is negative 5 stars!! Received a voicemail telling me they cancelled my appointments and were no longer accepting new patients. Gave the office a call and was told they were no longer accepting new patients and hung up on. Maybe the whole place should close if they are going to be rude and unprofessional or at least drop the neurology out of their name if they don't do that work anymore. Maybe also take the website down where you can schedule appointments for neurology! Maybe hire some staff that aren't rude. There are better sleep and neurology clinics in Frederick where you will be treated with respect.

I do enjoy getting phone reminders of appointments and updates on labs online, if needed. I have seen nearly every doctor in the practice and truly adore, not just like, all of them except one. Dr. Martin & Dr. Ott are incredible! Dr. Nouveau is to be avoided. She is dismissive, judgmental and has zero bedside manner. She assumes so many things about you without even asking you any questions. I left all four of my appointments with her feeling like absolute garbage. I then found out in a moms group that many patients in the practice do not like her, which is why her schedule is always so open. I pray she is not on call when I go into labor. My only other gripe is they do run steadily behind schedule. Expect to be seen 20 to 30 minutes after your appointment time. Longest I've ever waited is 50 minutes. I have just figured that into my time schedule, but if you are a new patient it can throw you. I do like that labs are done in-house, and done quickly. The phlebotomist is a wonderful woman and is very easy to work with.

Heather and Elise need to be in another field they are very judgmental and not helpful at all and they're the main 2 employees that seem to be racists. I'm moving to have a legal team involved but serving them and have my legal team has been interesting as the owners aren't communicative. Please choose another establishment at leas TV 1 that has 4 stars. Things weren't awful when I first joined but they are just horrible now. Which the system didn't force stars because they deserve a 0!
