My first year session + touch up with Jenna was great. One year touch up not so great. She mapped out my brows and i told her that they appear too thick I don't want them that thick or wide. Ofcourse she ignored me. My one year touch up came with painful healing, scabbing, and sharpie looking brows. 4 years later - the pigment was spreading, saturating, and turning gray due to my darker skin color. I was told by other consults that the cuts were too deep and I may never be able to get all of it out. I am getting Laser removal sessions and here are my progress pics. Dad approves"- Mommy THE 411: I was selected to be a model for Cascadia Ink ... FYI: I've been "drawing" on my eyebrows since 1992 way before it was cool haha The students (and owner/instructor) used a combination of methods for my brows as I have very little and very light eyebrow hair... "microblading, ombre and microshading" My observations: Seriously Good hygiene practice Consistently changing gloves Washing and sanitizing of hands frequently Gentle patient kind knowledgeable thorough Studio was beautifully decorated clean smelled good bright Julie is the owner of Cascadia Ink Holly was the student who invited and worked on me Lina was another student who also worked on me I learned so much about my own skin type, my undertones, the shape of my face and how the shape of my eyebrows can change the look of my face The "hair" strokes are incredibly realistic Julie was also very knowledgeable about the color palate for my eyebrows being careful because of my undertones and my fair skin not to go too dark but still accommodating my preference for darker brows Overall the procedure was mostly painless.. a bit uncomfortable at times but not unbearable. They do apply a numbing cream as well. They gave me a cleansing foam, a cream and clear instructions on how to care for my new brows... It was a Very long process, as I was informed ahead of time it would be (up to 4 hours) this was a teaching session so it was expected. My only constructive feedback would be to encourage the client to take a break... even if they say they're fine... (go tinkle, drink some water and reposition their body a bit) I am "trusting the process" ...butttttt.... The shape is thicker than I'm used to, but is definitely growing on me and the color is way lighter than I like...but super natural looking... once healed I will go for a touch up... and update then... as they may change and evolve with time... I do NOT regret my decision at all and am excited to see the end result! I love how I can wake up and go without looking sickly haha Would I recommend Cascadia Ink? Absolutely! Had a poor experience when trying to get my navel re-pierced after it had closed in recent months…read more(had an established piercing for years, done elsewhere). Had booked an appointment several weeks prior. At the time of re-piercing, it did not align with where the marked "dots" had been drawn prior to the needle stick. If it wasn't going to be pierced in the same exact spot as discussed prior to the piercing, then I'd rather just be told so and not get it. Also the length of the ring used for the attempted piercing was short (like a regular replacement ring you'd use after it's all healed); it wasn't long enough for a new piercing. It seemed she was trying to make the new piercing length on my navel fit the available ring she had (also the ring had a jagged-edged jewel on it, not a nice round, plain ball top. It would have gotten caught on everything and been a nightmare during healing). I didn't want an entirely different scar. That's exactly what I was trying to avoid, and had communicated this prior to piercing. The new piercing was so unsightly, it was upsetting to me. Bottom line, I asked for it to be removed and I left. Then I had to let my navel heal up for awhile. It's like going through healing but no piercing to show for it. I'll be extremely cautious about letting anyone touch my navel again.

If I could give Whitney ALL my money, I would. And that's what I've been doing since last year when…read moreI first got my brows microbladed by her. She was highly recommended by my hairstylist, who I trust, and when I saw photos of her work, I was sold. I have gotten my brows microbladed twice before already: The first time was by a downtown Seattle artist I would never return to, the second time elsewhere was somewhat decent but not quite what I had in mind, the third time with Whitney was hands down the best and exactly what I was going for: natural hair strokes and fluffy brows. I don't have to draw them in anymore as I did with my previous microblades, but I do like to apply some brow gel/serum to give them that freshly laminated look. I can't wait to get them redone every 2 years. I'll never let anyone else touch my brows ever again. And then I got addicted and got my hairline microbladed, my scalp microbladed, my eyeliner done, and next? Well, the only thing left to do now are my lips, which I have scheduled of course, and I know she's going to kill it. Whitney definitely has an eye for beauty and detail. On the one hand, she is quick and skillful. On the other hand, she is careful and meticulous in what she does and wants the best for her clients. I appreciate that she pays attention, asks questions, and works with you to achieve the desired results. These are not completely painless, painfree procedures, but thank goodness Whitney is patient when I'm squirming more than I mean to. I also have so much fun talking with her about anything and everything and always look forward to seeing her pretty face and making me pretty in the process too~

If there is one thing to take away from my review, it is to get your lip blush done by Christina…read moreand do it WITHOUT numbing. TRUST ME! I had the initial session done with numbing and it was fine, but a bit painful. However, at my touchup, Christina suggested we do the no numbing technique. I was a bit apprehensive due to the thought of it being more painful, but tried it anyway as she stated the procedure will be faster/the color deposit would be better. Well, I was wrong. The pain was very minimal and dare I say, way less painful as opposed to having your lips numbed! I walked out of there with my lips not stinging like the previous session. The healing was also pretty quick as I had minimal scabbing, and it seemed like the scabs just rolled off my lips when I washed it. Overall, I highly recommend anyone looking to do their lips to go to Christina. She is a sweet and professional gal. Felt like I was there hanging with a friend. She made me feel super comfortable with her easy-going personality and that's a huge bonus! As a busy mom of two toddlers, I am so happy I get to wake up with ready-to-go lips. It is not overly done so I can still wear lipstick if I prefer. Thanks again, Christina for making me look alive and not like a zombie. Will definitely return to get my brows and liner done with you.
