Dr. Ohri was easily able to help resolve my concern, and did so in a much more in-depth and effective manner than that of my general practitioner. Dr. Ohri has also helped me with some health issues other physicians I have been to either did not pursue or were not as knowledgeable of the underlying causes to help find a way to even begin treatment for. I have been a patient of Dr. Ohri going on two years now. Through her diligent efforts she has consistently been able to make accurate diagnoses of any health concerns I've expressed. As a result, she has also been able to pinpoint methods of treatment that have been highly effective for me. One of my main areas of treatment is hormone replacement therapy. Once I hit my mid to late 30s, I started to feel less energetic, had a sense of "fogginess" at times, and felt less like the "old self" of my younger days. Now in my mid to late 40's, these symptoms seemed more pronounced. I just figured it to be the "normal aging process" I had to put up with. Getting hormone therapy through Dr. Ohri's office (in my case pellet implantation) has made a great difference in how I feel. I now have greater energy levels, a better sense of clarity/alertness, maintain my weight more easily, and gained better overall muscle tone. My libido level has also increased, after having lowered over the course of time. My overall sense of well being has vastly improved from this course of treatment. Dr. Ohri's in-office procedure makes this process very easy and nearly painless. Dr. Ohri has also helped me with what feels to have been long-time issues I've had in terms of dealing with bouts of nausea, "upset" stomachs, a feeling of general malaise, and allergy-like symptoms. Through targeted and methodical testing, she to determined that I have "leaky gut" issues- something my regular doctors never even considered when I would raise ongoing concerns about always seeming to "not feel quite right" most of the time. Dr. Ohri has customized a treatment plan for me to address this issue, which has been making a positive difference in how I feel on a daily basis. Dr. Ohri has made a marked difference in my overall health and well being. She is highly knowledgeable in her field, and is always seeking additional information to find new and novel ways to effectively treat her patients. She has a terrific "bedside manner" and spends a great deal of time with you to assess and treat your specific medical needs, explaining things fully all along the way. I never get the feeling of having the typical 10 to 15 minute "rush" visit that seems endemic in general practices these days. I am extremely happy with the level of care I receive and highly recommend Dr. Ohri's services. I trust her judgment, and consider myself very fortunate to be one of her patients. Not only was she unable to give me the results that are expected from injecting a nodule pimple with a cortisone shot (the whole point in paying for the shot is to see flattening within 48 hours), but even worse - her technique was so shockingly poor that it caused severe fat atrophy in the entire area on my face. This has left an EXTREMELY noticeable dent in my face for several months that I now had to visit two separate med spas for consultations and ultimately had to pay $900 for a syringe of filler to see a slight resolution in the damage she caused. When I initially reached out to Dr. Niu about my concern of this divot due to fat atrophy in April 2025, she was extremely dismissive and took no accountability for the negative side-effect of her work. She mentioned that she had already provided me a refund (which was false because she had only given me a PARTIAL refund) and did not offer to fix the problem that she had created. The partial refund she gave me did not even begin to cover the amount of money I had to spend to fix this. I have pictures of the damage she caused as well as my text messages with her that show how unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive she was throughout the experience. Obviously this was distressing and disheartening for me as a patient. She is not a trustworthy or skilled practitioner and a simple conversation with her will prove that she's not confident speaking to a lot of the procedures she offers. I regret going against my intuition and trusting her anyway. She deletes her bad reviews and the one or two bad reviews that I have seen on here, she has replied to in an immature and dismissive manner that would not be expected from a true professional doctor. I am reporting her to the New Jersey Medical Licensing Board because this is absolutely unacceptable and I don't want other women to go through what I did. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.
