I've been going to Derma Laser Center and getting my microdermabrasion facials with Mary since January of this year. All I can say is I thank God my daughters bought me the 3 sessions on Groupon for Christmas, once those Groupons were used I was given 5 more from my partner and it has been the best thing ever. Once covid came around in March I couldn't use my Groupons because they closed down but once they were getting ready to open Mary sent me a text and let me know scheduled me right away and let me tell you my skin for a 49 yr old has never looked better. Went in for a consultation for a birth mark removal and the doctor had the worst negative attitude, and know it all attitude. I was asking questions, as any normal patient would, especially about to undergo birthmark laser removal. Heck, people eve ask questions before a facial. Maybe if he tokd me explicitly what id expect and how it would be, i wouldnt have had to ask so many questions. He was rude and hated that I was asking questions about a procedure I'd pay a lot of money for on my OWN body. He also was extremely rushed and spoke to me for a total of 5 mins before he rushed me out the door. Treated me like shit. So blatantly disgusted. read more

This was probably one of the worst microdermbrasion treatment and facial that I have ever received. I was in and out in 40 min and that's with the facialist leaving me in the room for 10 min. I felt like she was in a race, it was not relaxing. As soon as I showed the person at the front desk the groupon, he kinda of sighed and just handed me a paper to sign. No welcome, no introduction to the person doing the facial,and nothing on the way out either. The room I was in was clean but not super clean and I felt the wrap they gave me to put on was already used, it did not seem freshly washed. The reason for groupons is to give people a chance to try your services and then hopefully come back. The place is really nice, However, services is really bad. First, the staff is so freaking serious, I thought I was at the Adams Family's house. Neither of them smiled or greeted us. Then the doctor was trying to get us to pay extra $$ claiming that the area between the eyes is separate area than the forehead, what a rip off? He got mad too because my aunt just wanted 1 area. He then stabbed her and made her bleed alot. From experience, a gentle doctor will NOT make you bleed that much. He was awful, he lost my aunt's business, mine and my sisters. I'm looking else where. He needs to be more gentle and train his staff to be courteous. You want my service so you should put some effort in treated your customer's well. read more

Came here with a Groupon that covered 6 laser sessions. Completed 5/6 sessions but didn't return for the 6th because I did not see any results, and I thought my skin was being damaged by the burns. I was told that the hair follicles would weaken and even if hairs grew in, they'd fall out quickly but that's not the case. It's been 2 years since my last session and I can confidently say that the hair growth didn't even get reduced by 25% -_-. Appointments were available readily and if need be, they would squeeze you in. Doctor was friendly but he rushed the appointments, and I felt like he missed many follicles as well. 2 stars for the availability of appointments and friendly doctor, but definitely no other credit can be given (at least based off of my experience and results). read more

Great Decor but the service was not that good. I bought a Groupon and after months of calling I finally had an appt. for my Microdermabrasion facial before it expired. The facial said it was 45 to 60 min facial but mine was done in 30-35 mins. It seemed very short which most of it was lying down in the room with a mask on. I was disappointed and top of that since it was my first time getting a Microdermabrasion facial and my skin did break out. I don't think I would buy this facial again at this location. read more

Went there for a botox treatment. The place is really beautiful, but that is about it. The doctor was rude, very unprofessional, hearing a woman cry in the room as she got some type of facial treatment did not help either. He told me how he gives himself botox while he drives.LOL I went for my follow up where I guess he was in a bad mood, gave my injection and just walked out of the room I sat there with blood running down my face, nothing to dab with, had to get a kleenex out of my purse! :( Never AGAIN. read more

The operation went flawless, very efficient, smooth with no side effects and all marks are now completely gone, no scar tissues or anything. I never do reviews but This place is terrible. I got a groupon for microdermabrasion. The service is supposed to be an hour long. The woman spent a minute max on the microdermabrasion. The rest was rubbing lotion on my face and putting a hot towel on which sat on my face for 20 min. The service was completed with getting bath and body works lotion rubbed on my arms and sprayed on me. Eww. I'm an older woman and this stinks like cheap teen perfume. Let alone all the chemicals in that crap. I'm shocked a Derm place would use such cheap stuff. The worst part is how unsanitary the woman that does the facials is and how dirty the planners and gross towel they have you wear. It was dingy and had hair on it. Someone walked out as I was coming in and they never changed the stuff. The woman never washed her hands or wears gloves. She covers the front desk. Takes calls and touches the doors and lays those same hands right on your face. Also same bath and body work hands from arms straight to face. I'm certain I'll be breaking out after this. First time I ever wrote a review like this, but honestly I can't believe this place is only 20 minutes away from where I live. I'm super picky when it to my face and body and I was all over Park Ave for years looking for the right doctor, rarely returning anywhere twice. I've been going to Dr. El Attar for about 3 years now and doubt I'll ever switch again. He's given me Botox, fillers, fat transplants, fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, repaired a torn earlobe, as well as microdermabrasion facials by his very professional staff at Derma Laser Center. Not only have my results consistently been perfect or near perfect, he is the most accessible doctor I've ever been too, available by text at all hours if I have a question and the office is closed. He takes the time to address all my concerns and if I have a special request (like a particularly subtle result) he pays attention and delivers. His office is also very accommodating with appointments and his rates are reasonable. He's always honest about why would work for me, and what wouldn't, and I've come to utterly trust his judgment. I feel very lucky to have found this place and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr El Attar and Derma Laser Center to anyone who wants a smart, attentive doctor and top-notch results. read more

What most people don't' understand about microdermabrasions, is the process is about 10 minutes. I've had other groupons for them and this place gives you a full facial as well. I have been doing facials for years but this one, I can't even call a facial. It was my first time at the salon. When I walked in, no one even acknowledged me or said hello. I waited for my apt. time and was called into the room. Microderm, which was in the package, literally took 1 min. Mary, the lady who did the facial, didn't even microderm the entire face, just spot touch. After that, I spend 15 min alone with a mask on. She focused on my hands and neck for a while when she came back which I found odd because I bought the package for a facial and not a message that I receive monthly elsewhere. She could of massage the neck when I was wearing the mask instead of leaving me alone. There was no steam as pretty much any other aesthetician would do prior to extraction. There was no extraction. She didn't even ask if I need one. At the end, she massaged my face with lotion or creams but her hands were so rough I felt like someone is using sandpaper. I thought to myself it feels like a form of a torture. The facial was altogether no more than 40 min, although the package I purchased claimed 45-60 min. Overall, worse experience in the salon and I very much regret that I bought a pack of 5 facials, wasted my money and time. I hope Mary would read it and do something about the way she performs facials. Maybe take another training or two. read more

The place is really fancy but that's about it. I bought a Groupon for a hydrating facial with microderm. It was the worst facial ever. I did not feel relaxed. The room was really warm and the lady giving the facial did not smile or seem inviting. She hurt my face doing the microderm...she just smashes down on your face. I did go there for laser hair removal couple years back and the doc burnt my upper lip. I will not go back again. Save your money its not worth it! read more

Love Dr. Elattar and his staff. I did 3D lipo after a a few several consults with multiple doctors. Dr. Elattar was the only one that made me comfortable as well as affordable. I was able to apply for care credit and pay. We spoke about pre and post care treatment. After setting the date of my procedure I was very nervous. Day of procedure I was greeted with warm smiles and was assured to be taken care of and that this would be a positive experience. Wow! It certainly was. I came in after a week to remove the foam that prevents from bruising, not a single bruise by the way. Came in 3 months later and down 6 inches off my waist. 2 years later with proper diet and exercise I am able to see the results of body sculpting. I look fabulous! I also have done Botox here at DLC and I was quite nervous but after he gave me a through consultation I was eager and comfortable to take my first steps to a younger looking me. I guess I'm a typical female and don't like to give away my beauty secrets. I'm in my 50's and have always wanted to fight aging just like they do in Hollywood.
