The staff was extremely friendly and caring and able to understand what my needs were. I am new to this practice, and they came highly recommended. I saw Dr. Andrzej Torbus, he is very through, kind, and genuinely interested in what my concerns were. I saw him two tImes, the first was to get familiar with the practice, and get recommendations and referrals to other specialist in my plan. The second visit was for medical clearance, I am having knee surgery. Both times Dr. Torbus walked in happy and smiling, and I never felt rushed. He put me at ease, and answered all of my questions. He was able to recommend routine yearly exams that I needed to have since I was a little behind. This practice is part of Atlantic Health System. Most of my information was already in their system. Dr. Torbus could see some of my previous records and dates. All I had to do was update my insurance information. The process was very easy. I love that they have an online system called "My Chart." You sign in and can access all of your medical records, tests, appointments, that are part of Atlantic Health, and even send an email directly to the doctor and his staff. Any other doctor associated with Atlantic Health System that I've seen will also be in "My Chart." This practice is located alittle down from the center of town in Warren. . There is also free parking in their lot. There are rows and rows of medical buildings up and down Mountain Ave. RT 22 and 78 are both accessible from this office. I definitely recommend this practice.

I explained my issues and he addressed each and every one of them. I never felt rushed and I was given a through exam. Dr. Torbus put me at ease gave me samples of prescription medication to try. Dr. Torbus is a wonderful diagnostician. I found him to be professional, but also have a sense of humor. I do have several problems with the practice, for one the front office staff had no idea what was going on. I needed to return to leave another urine specimen, I was told when I called that I could come at any time and didn't need an appointment, when I got there nobody knew what to do with me nobody knew how to help me nobody knew who told me I could coming anytime. It was complete chaos. Fast forward, six months have passed and I just received a bill from Robert Wood Johnson billing department. When I call the billing department my first question was why I'm being billed for services that happened six months ago. The woman on the phone told me that they're just billing for visits I'm six months ago now. I also asked why I was receiving a bill I had insurance, the woman explained to me that none of that insurance information had be forwarded to them. I told her how is that possible I was seeing by the Robert Wood Johnson MD, Why would my information not be forwarded for Robert Wood Johnson billing department. I myself and a healthcare professional and I'm very frustrated by everyone's complacency with mediocrity in the workplace. All other aspects of business require people to be accountable, I understand people make mistakes however, this is not the first time that I've been sent a bill because someone didn't sell the proper insurance information. I would rather you're be a system where I can bill my own insurance company, it's very clear that everyone else doesn't know how to write a proper number or send the correct information to get the job done. I know I'm not the only person that has to then call the insurance company or call the billing department which wastes 20 minutes to an hour of my time. Lastly no one ever did call me and tell me what the results of my urinalysis was, I had to call to obtain the information. I was leaving for vacation was given a prescription, I did not want to take the prescription unless it was certain that I had problem with my urine. I am aware that usually you are not notified unless there is a problem with your urine however with the excessive use of antibiotics I would prefer to have a phone call so I did not have to take the antibiotics.

Mike has had painful knee issues for years, and for many of those years, medications and injections were able to help. But by the summer of 2017, Mike was in pain all the time. We wound up cancelling vacations and other activities we enjoyed, because it hurt him just to walk up a couple of steps. Our lives got smaller and smaller, and Mike spent more and more time on the couch. Because we are only in our early 60s, we realized that this could be our lives for the next 30 years! Like most people, we have healthy concerns about surgery, but decided this was no way to live. We met with Dr. Rojer and together, made the decision for total knee replacement. We selected a date for surgery, and Dr. Rojer's experienced staff took it from there. The segue from Dr. Rojer's office to Trinitas Medical Center (and beyond that, to post op care and rehab) was seamless. Much to our amazement, Mike was up and walking around the patient floor with his physical therapists, three hours after surgery! When he was discharged from Trinitas, an at-home physical therapist and a home nurse arrived on our doorstep the next day. We didn't have to make any of the arrangements! Surgery and recovery went so well that we scheduled his second knee replacement, and that went just as smoothly. Mike finishes his last week of physical therapy tomorrow, and for the first time in years, he can walk pain-free. We have already made travel plans to take full advantage of that fact. Iceland, here we come!
