It's been years since I have been to a forever yogurt. I have fond memories of coming here when I was younger. Living in Chicago, this place is usually for the summertime. The taste of the yogurt was so good, and nothing beats the original plain flavor with some strawberries and mochi. This place in Skokie has great parking, great seating on the inside, and a quick checkout.   For someone who wants an alternative to ice cream, with a smooth process of choosing your own yogurt and toppings, this place is great. The only thing I wish they had was longer hours. This place would be a great late night spot for friends and family, especially in the spring and summer months.   I'd recommend this place to both kids and adults! My wife loves trying different frozen yogurt and we had an absolute blast coming here. The variety of frozen yogurt flavors and the toppings made it a really fun experience to try and mix it up as much as possible. I mixed cake batter and cookies and cream while my wife mixed cake batter and a strawberry flavor. We drowned our treats in toppings (I prefer loading my yogurt with so many toppings you can't even see the yogurt anymore) and played one of the many board games they have in the shop. The yogurt tasted amazing and the music playing made it really lively. Overall a great experience and we definitely see ourselves coming back here soon. Me and my boyfriend Ryan went crazy in this place and forgot they charged by the oz! So first and for most this frozen yogurt is in boys town with absolutely no parking (especially on weekends and game days). Lets just say I found me some "Free" parking in the paid parking lot next door to the place. In the heap of the moment I was craving so of course I was ready to run in and chow down. Also if you would like to park legally, the parking lot charges $12. When you walk up and the door swings open, you can smell the sugar. immediately upon entering my two girl friends and I were rudely approached by the owner of this establishment. Never in my life have i seen such horrendous customer service before in my life. From the moment we walked into this establishment, we were followed by her unnecessary bickering. However, I would like to note that according to the hours listed online, this place was not meant to close for another hour; we also called beforehand to check, but of course no one answered our call. We were denied sample cups to try the flavors and she not only monitored, but also degradingly commented on how we were putting the ice cream in our cups. She started nagging us and saying "Don't waste the ice cream" or "you cant have orea crumbles because then i have to clean it up". LIKE WHAT?! We cant be paying customers because you might have to clean up a small area before closing? She also started screaming at my girl friend saying "WHAT KIND OF EDUCATION DO YOU HAVE? ARE YOU CRAZY?" How can you speak to a paying customer this way, let alone a teenage girl who is just minding her own business? What kind of education do YOU have woman? clearly not a good one if this is the way you communicate with other human beings... It was mortifying to be in this environment and watch her speak to me and my friends in such a humiliating manner. This woman needs to lose her job and business title. I used like this fro yo place but after this horrible experience i will NEVER be coming here again. neither will my friends. My daughter and I returned tonight, and the place was packed, as it always is on the weekends when the weather's nice. Red Velvet was gone, so I planned to do French Vanilla, Mom's Cake batter, and a bit of peanut butter. The French Vanilla was out, so I told the girl at the counter. She said to give her a minute. She filled it, then came and told me to wait "30 seconds." After counting a bit over 30 seconds, I tried and it didn't work. So we waited a few more minutes. Some other people tried, and it was still out. Someone else inquired, and another girl came and put a sign up that it would be back "soon." Again, it was packed with not much room to stand and wait, and I had already put the other two flavors in my cup. If we waited too much longer they would have melted, so I told my daughter forget it. She chose other flavors and seemed content with her choices. We got to the topping counter and the strawberries were very low. A girl came with a container and as she was filling them, the couple behind me remarked that they looked frozen. The girl didn't say a word; she just continued filling. So I told the couple that a few days ago when we were there, they were frozen then too. The girl still said nothing. I chose a few other fruits, but I was disappointed...AGAIN. When I got to the register, I told the girl I had a Groupon. I had bought the $10 one for $5. Our order for two cups with toppings came to $10.69. As I was opening my wallet to pay the .69, she said we didn't owe anything. So that was great, the best part of this visit actually, and I told her that that made up for being out of french vanilla. She told us we just have to come back. Ok, but as for the strawberries, they really need to get it together!! Strawberries are probably the most popular fruit topping they offer, and frozen is GROSS. Ahh yogurt. *Forever Yogurt* that is. Not only are there locations in the Chicagoland area, they made it to the suburbs, AND they're open late! Although I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually adjust their hours to accommodate for slow weekdays, I just love the fact that they're here. This location sports 16 (!) yogurt dispensers on one wall, more than 18 topping dispensers on the opposite wall (granola, M&Ms, dark chocolate raspberry cups to name a few), and a few more choice toppings like fruit etc on the counter near the register. I believe they also have some fudge or other things in pumps near the register, but I don't get those... also sold - soda drinks and Smart Water. Some indoor seating, but outside is a decent location to grab some yogurt and walk towards the stores nearby. Side note: This location has all the toppings I love, all at once. Especially blackberries. And the dark chocolate raspberry cups. Yum. Why go all the way to the city when this gem popped up? The original tart flavor is still the best flavor. I try different flavors every time I go into the store but always end up with the original. Something about the sourness is just so delicious. Then I have to add some Oreos, waffle cone pieces, granola, strawberry, kiwi, and last but not least, MOCHI! If you never tried the mochi before, you must. BEST YOGURT PLACE EVER!!! I am not a huge fan of fro-yo... at all. One day during lunch, I wandered into Forever Yogurt that just opened up and was delighted by what I found. Out of all the places I've been to, Forever has more flavors and toppings than I have ever seen anywhere. I've been twice - the first time I came in, I got the "Very Raspberry" and "Mom's cake batter" and the second time I had "MCB" again (because it's sooo good) and "Honey Greek" which was also out of this world. For toppings, you literally have anything your mind can think of. From all types of cookies, to sprinkles, mochi balls, fruits, and candy. There are also options for hot fudge, Carmel, and other liquid toppings. They have options for low-fat, non dairy, non fat, and low sugar, so they went above and beyond to accommodate all of their customers. As I said, it's brand new, so the inside is beautiful, clean, and the employees are as cheery as can be. It's a great treat on a hot day, or just something that can lift your spirits when you are feeling down :) I've been twice, but this will become my new to go place when my tooth will be craving something sweet. read more

Was driving around town and saw this little shop. Stop in! You won't be disappointed. I'm from Kansas City and we have no flavors like this place had. A few are a little to crazy for me but I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried them. Their prices are reasonable compared to others and the selection of toppings is outstanding! I was disappointed to see they did not offer a rewards program at this location. I think they wold get even more business if they offed one. The atmosphere is very quiet and nice. Wow.. The patrons at this place are disgusting. Those sample cups are the worst idea for the simple fact that the customers are double or triple dipping into multiple flavors with the same cup that they just put their whole mouth on. I witnessed an older woman do it to the strawberry shortcake and the pistachio flavor. After her, I see two teens do the same with every flavor . It would be fine except that they are literally wiping/rubbing the rim of the cup they just licked onto the nozzle of the machines. Great hygiene!... How ignorant are these people. We were standing literally right next to the attendant and were not acknowledged until we were yelled at for one of the machines squirting watery yogurt out and making a mess. This is your typical frozen yogurt bar - nothing more, nothing less. I will say that it seems this place can be dead one minute and jam packed the next. I was sampling some yogurts with only my family, and the next thing I knew there were 10 people in line. Odd. The toppings offered are pretty extensive, especially the cereal and fruit options. The flavors were pretty good, and my father in law loved the Georgia Peach flavor last time we were there. Two negatives to me: 1. They don't have the marshmallow liquid topping that other yogurt places have, which is my go-to topping. 2. Perhaps due to the uneven flow of customers, but I felt that the place wasn't as clean and orderly as other yogurt shops. For example, fallen yogurt was left on the yogurt machine grates for a while and some of the candy toppings were spilled out onto the counter.
