We had Forever Studios digitize 28 VHS and VHS-C tapes to a flash drive. I brought them in as we are local. Customer service was excellent and they completed the project on-time. Needed professional headshots done ASAP and was able to make a same day appointment - I got there at my scheduled time and Lucy the photographer made me feel right at home. This studio is "as good as it gets". From the very start they were organized, professional and courteous. I had slides converted to prints and they were done quickly and beautifully, with email and phone notification to inform me that they were ready. They were able to upload them to my computer right away, and this was key as I was working on a project and live in Ft. Lauderdale. I came in a few weeks later to pick my slides up, and submit another order. Same wonderful experience as before. Highly recommend!!! read more

Bad encoding using square pixels VHS has rectangular pixel as does 16x9 DVDs. Encoded at 640x480 which is 4x3 which would be correct if VHS used square pixel it does not. Most editing software imports VHS at 352x240 show should have been encoded at 704x480 or at least the NTSC standard 720x480 with a 4x3. They didn't even fix any tracking issues. They are saying they specialize in Home Video VHS which has slightly different tracking each time you start shooting stop shooting bang the Camcorder around a bit like in the Scene from Stranger Things. Then I paid for the video download link to my files and they said I had to come in before they would give me the link. So I missed out on being able to show my family the Videos in person. Blurry hot mess they didn't have a pro configure this. read more

So patient and laidback while being very professional. Zachery made sure that I was happy with the end photos we selected even though it took a bit longer than planned. I have no idea who would have given this business any stars but I wouldn't give them 1 star! I took my daughter here for 1st birthday photos. I was told I would get a link to view the photos in 3 days. I got nothing. I called a few times, nothing! Finally, a month later I get a link. I view 20 photos out of the 100+ photos taken! The 20 I get have her head cut off, her birthday dress is not visible in them, there is a power outlet behind her in the photos! Customer service was uncaring and they don't even attempt to make things right! You get what you get and if the pictures are terrible too bad!! read more

Do not use for any media transfers. I took some old PAL VHS that were certainly a challenge, but was up front with them on this. Paid for a RUSH order with 100% surcharge, 5 days later they send an email "Great News! Your items are ready!" Get there and they said they couldnt do the job. I took the same tapes to a real pro in Broward county and they did the job in a few hours for less than half the price...which I am STILL waiting to have refunded. If you want them to take your photo I guess they can do that, but forget any transfer services. read more

They do photography, books and make movies as well as converting old tapes and photos. At any rate, the conversion of my tapes was very good. I just had some B/W film scanned by them and they did an outstanding job! I'm just starting to archive all the film I shot in the 1980's and 90's and had been sending film out to Los Angeles to get scanned before I heard about this 'this little studio' right down the street. I did say that I would go back to forever studio again and I certainly did! We had done a photo shoot for a friend of mine and the staff was amazing! The owner of the establishment is also amazing! Everyone took such good care of us. Gave us such a great deal on the photos and they looked so good. They have such a big variety to choose from, necklaces to digital photos that it's so hard for me to pick! Don't know about his photography, just about tape transfers. If you're thinking of having them do it, think again or GO IN PERSON because, if you mail your tapes, you'll be nickel and dimed to death losing weeks in the process. Nothing is as straightforward as it looks on their charges page. Everything is extra. So, don't trust the mail, don't bother to call ("we must see the tapes first"), go there yourself! If you can't, then go elsewhere. read more

Pretty upset to not have my photos by now. The website said within 24 hrs and after the shoot the photographer told me "they will be ready later today or by tomorrow morning." Called to check, since it has been over 24 hrs and she tells me that the touch ups on only two head shots is 6 business hrs and Saturdays don't count as business hours (although the studio is open). Our shoot was finished before 11:30am on Friday. This is BS...but I guess it's my fault since I read the reviews on groupon (although I paid full price) that had similar problems with getting their photos back in a timely manner. read more

Such a stellar experience here! My sister and I gave my mom a family photo shoot at Forever Studios for her 70th birthday and she still says it was her favorite gift of all time! Our experience was excellent from start to finish. We booked the date easily, arrived at the studio and had an absolute blast having our pictures taken by a professional photographer. He was very patient while we struck tons of different poses in pairs, trios, singles, the whole family. No-pressure environment. Freedom to do whatever we wanted --to be silly, giggly, professional, whatever! My mom loved spending time with her kids during the shoot and the pictures came out awesome! Links came through in a matter of days, exactly as promised. Prints too. If anything, we took too long deciding which to choose. So many good ones!
