I called about a dwarf lime tree. He assured me he had them and quoted a price. He said his…read morecomputer was down and needed cash only. When I got there he said he was mistaken of the price and it was $70 more. He showed me the tree which had green fruit on it. I didn't look at the tag trusting him. I brought the plant to my son place as a surprise gift. My son looked at the tag the next morning and it said it said Meyer lemon, clearly not a lime tree. My son drove to the nursery and confronted the owner. He finally after stumbling on his own words, gave in and refunded the cash paid after my son drove the plant back. My son said shame on him for scalping his parents, a senior couple, with deceit, lies, and overpricing. We will never do business with this crook again.

Even though it is not a large nursery, you still have a wide range of houseplants, herbs, and seedlings to choose from. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable; one of the workers patiently answered my questions about my houseplants and helped me to understand what I needed to do differently. Yes, some are a little bit larger than others, but they all carry the same selection of great construction and home design based stuff. Whether you're in there looking for lighting equipment, power tools, gardening items and plants, or wood to build that whatever it is you want to build, you're going to find it here. What is there to complain about? In terms of pricing, they're very competitive with whatever marketplace your looking at. They sell things for a very reasonable price. So, if you're looking for that whatever, you pretty much know you're going be able to find it at the Home Depot, and you know you're gonna be paying a fair price for it. This location is situated right off of Highway One. I find this a great location, because you can just hop right off the highway, walk into the store, get whatever you need, and then jump right back on Highway One. You can't ask for more than that. Overall, from all my experiences here, the staff here have always been super nice. Nothing to complain about there. She was so helpful: enthusiastically assisting my husband and I to search information of flowers we needed to know and brought them out for us. With her nice and big smile along with her wonderful customer service, this trip to Valley Hill Nursery was surely the best experience we've ever had at this place.
