Before moving my dad in, we were told certain things that gave us confidence in choosing this facility, but after he was there, many of those promises were not followed through with. Changes were made without proper communication or notice, and it felt like our concerns as a family were not being respected or heard. One of the biggest concerns was the pressure we felt to switch my dad to a hospice company that the facility preferred, even though we already had a hospice provider we trusted and wanted to continue with. During that process, we feel they took advantage of our family's emotional state and the difficult situation we were facing to push for a decision that aligned with what they wanted rather than what our family believed was best for my dad. Another concern was our interactions with Melissa and Jackie. We found their behavior to be hostile, aggressive, and lacking the compassion and professionalism that families deserve during such a difficult time. Rather than feeling supported, we often felt intimidated and dismissed when trying to advocate for my dad's care and express our concerns. We were also uncomfortable with the approach of keeping my dad heavily medicated. We expected compassion, honesty, communication, and respect for our family's wishes, but unfortunately that was not our experience. Families place tremendous trust in memory care facilities when caring for their loved ones. We expected the care, transparency, and respect that was promised when we chose this facility. Instead, our experience left us feeling frustrated, unheard, and disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve communication, professionalism, and respect for residents and their families.

Always aware of his needs and pro-active in making the proper adjustments with his prescriptions. I've also seen tremendous improvement in my mom's health and wellbeing and she hasn't been this happy in a long time. It's nice to have this place in our neighborhood. The house is fairly new, modern and cozy. All needs are addressed and there's nothing they won't do to make it a comfortable experience. It was difficult in the beginning not knowing what to expect when considering living assistance. Looking back, I'm confident this was the best decision, moving my parents to this home.

Lots of stress and lack of sleep due to taking care of both. Then I contacted Integrity Memory Care. Upon entering this group home, I immediately knew that this was the place for mom and dad. Svetlana's (owner) attention to all the details is impeccable. It has a homey feel and the beautiful home and surroundings is topped off with a high standard of care. All of the caregivers have been compassionate, loving and caring to both of my parents' needs. The home itself is new, clean and beautifully designed. There is a large patio and backyard with mini golf. All the meals are home cooked and they pay attention to dietary needs. There are certified caregivers on site 24/7. This home accommodates up to 6 residents so it provides tailored attention to each resident. No one is lost in the shuffle like that of a larger facility. I hope this review helps any one who is faced with a difficult decision of where your love one can reside. My original goal was to have them move in with me however after observing all the love and care they receive now through this group home, I would have done my parents and myself a disservice. Well then I met Chip (the owner) and the fear was gone, what a kind understanding owner. I did not have an appointment I was just coming to look and Chip happened to be there. We sat down right away and started filling out the paper work. Everything work out well so we could move my friend in the following Monday. I visited many times and took him out for a drive, hair cut and lunch and he felt good about going back. She was on…read morehospice, and when the nurses went out, the nurse caught one of the caregiver yelling at her for saying she liked Trump. The caregivers couldn't read English and messed up her medicine and told the nurse that she wasn't allowed to give medication but was the only one at the house watching The residence. Our mother fell more that once and we wasn't notified that her toe was cut open. I even went to visit her and nothing was said. Lidia is supposed to contact hospice and the family. . Lidia the owner argued that they didn't know what happen when they even have cameras in the room. When hospice CNA went out to give her the shower, she noticed her toe was badly cut and reported it to the hospice nurse on Tuesday. Then Lidia said Our mother fell on a Sunday When the hospice nurse went out on Tuesday she had to get stitches. They let our mother sit in feces. Caregiver told the hospice CNA that she couldn't clean her up Then Lidia got mad when it was reported to hospice and wanted the CNA pulled out to not do showers anymore The hospice CNA's are supposed to report and their notes of everything that happens with the patient while they are there Speaking with the hospice we was Informed that we needed to remove our mother ASAP Lidia could never answer any of hospice questions every time they went out to see Our mother. Medication's were always messed up And there's so much more to report. Hospice And alteck had our mother, removed The next day. All tech reported to adult protection services failure to care for an elderly person Lidia lost all our mother's clothing, her glasses and argued with us about it How can her clothing and personal items be lost when our mother never left the home? Lidia informed us that her roommates drunk son went in and took all of our mother's items when we asked for her stuff. I would check with adult protection services before placing your loved ones in this home. and from our understanding, Lidia has two homes that she has the elderly people living in The Glendale police report also took a report on how the front windows was opened with no screens and people with dementia was living in his home Due to the all tech contract, Lidia was supposed to refund the $500 deposit and she still hasn't and told us she won't so we have to file papers to take her to court. Now that our mother has been removed, she has gained weight. She has not had a UTI and they backed her off on all the meds that Lidia wanted to keep her on. She has not fallen. When at Lidia's house, she fell three times due to not having a caregiver to watch her, especially with cameras. The caregiver told us that Our mother wouldn't let her sleep at night. I would never place a loved one under the care of Lidia due to She does not take care of them and it's only a paycheck to her. Which she receives 3000 to 5000 for each person living in that home. And still to this day, we never received any of my mother's clothing, which she is petite and Lidia wanted to try to give us extra large. They lost her glasses And everything had Our mothers name on them. We would buy her shampoos and soaps, and those were always missing. When transported her medication one of the bottles was empty. Which is funny when hospice would keep her prescriptions updated This is a poor place that adult protection services had to be involved with due to failure of care and The Glendale police report showed that the front windows were open with no screens and people with dementia live there. I would never even place a rat in this home under her Lidia's care. Lidia is the rudest person that you could ever dealt with and has no common sense on how to take care of people with dementia. As seniors age, mental and physical capacity may become diminished, but there is still so much spark in the residents I have worked with here and I truly believe it's because the teams working for the communities foster such a wonderful spirit of love and togetherness. They speak hopefully, lovingly and faithfully and it really reflects in the faces and eyes of those who live here. They are committed to loving the residents and you see it! I am not just saying this because I have worked with them for several years doing marketing photography, but because I truly do see a special difference in these communities. Yvette took me through the whole facility. It was warm, welcoming and so peaceful. Mom would be staying in the memory care. It was so safe, quiet and very intimate. It's set up almost like a Montessori school. They only take around 20 residents in the memory care. I was so grateful they had an opening for her! They have a ratio of about 1 care giver to 5 residents. They had amazing safety systems set up for caring for their residents! We had superb gentle nurses and caregivers like Arrietta and Delores! They looked after mom like she was their own. So protective! There was Pablo who at nights would stay close and talk to mom's room/door so she would feel comfortable and sleep! From the moment she arrived at Orchard Point earlier than expected, Yvette and Patty the Director took such amazing care of her. Even answering their personal cellphones late late at night on our first night there. I was expecting voicemail but they took my call and jumped into action! They quickly helped with any accommodations she/we needed. They helped us as her family find support for her! They and all of the staff in the Memory Care are a family! It felt like home. The residents mom spent time with were so happy. Everyone was active, clean, needs being met! There was not one single resident who wasn't being loved and cared for! Orchard Pointe was such a blessing for us in a painful journey! They took care of us! They took care of us so we could set back and breathe! Orchard Pointe is a Home and a Family! My mom has passed but we will be eternally grateful to have found Yvette, Patty and everyone at Orchard Pointe! They truly love and care for their residents and their families! We moved my mom and dad into Orchard Pointe in November 2019, just ahead of the pandemic. When COVID-19 hit, the OP staff were diligent about ensuring the health and safety of all the residents, while making sure they still had engaging activities and maintained social distancing. I can't say enough about the staff, including the directors, ladies at the front desk, activities personnel, the caregivers, drivers, nursing and dining room staff, and volunteers. Whenever I had a concern, they were all responsive and addressed issues in a timely fashion. It is evident that for the staff at OP, it's not just a "job," but rather a calling to serve with care and compassion. Their activities calendar is rich with a variety of offerings that engage residents and keep them busy. I remember with fondness the many Friday afternoon Happy Hours attended with mom, and looked forward to hearing the residents sing, especially "New York, New York!" Not too long ago, mom required more hands on care and was moved to OP's Memory Support unit. The Memory Support staff exhibited the same level of compassion for the residents in their care. It was heartwarming to see the connections staff members had with the residents. Sadly, we lost mom in June of this year; the staff was kind and responsive to all of her needs, even as she neared the end. I'm eternally grateful that we chose Orchard Pointe; if I had it to do all over again, I would still choose OP.

I visited several 'facilities', but my last stop was OP, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, not just to me but to my mom! We were embraced with their warmth, kindness and knowledge. My mother was a nurse, and her assessment of her care was, "They are excellent". In December of 2022, my mother-in- law fell and fractured her wrist. From the hospital, she was sent to rehab. She had trouble doing PT because her toe nails were long and painful. They needed to be clipped. The rehab would not clip her nails. The week before Christmas, on a Friday, she/I was given a 5 day notice of discharge. I immediately called Orchard Pointe-Surprise, and within 3 days, my mother in law was moved in and settled! She was cared for, loved on and treated with respect. The last six days of her life, staff members from administration, to caregivers, to transportation, and maintenance, came to pay their final respects and show me love and support. No place is perfect, but Orchard Pointe- Surprise was perfect for my family members. ~Eileen

Danielle was especially attentive to our family's needs. The private room was comfortable, clean, and climate controlled, with access to the sunlight outside and a chair comfortable to sleep in. Best of all there were no restrictions. We could visit any time. We even brought in my family member's derpy cat that doesn't blink. He's on the catism spectrum. The lobby is a bit small and dated with a strangely-placed TV, but at least it's cozy, with wifi, plus they have free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water. No waffle iron yet. If you need anything else, a giant market is just steps away. I highly recommend this location, even though they don't have returning clients.

They never gave her fluids and she was extremely dehydrated which caused constipation! No help! After she died they recommended the worst mortuary ever! She was to be cremated and it took weeks to accomplish and their location was extremely inconvenient to the family! I voice my concerns on their website and they never even bothered to respond! It appears they are all about the money. Although I cannot prove this it appears they obviously get referral fees. They obviously never researched to see if the businesses they recommend are reputable! If you have a loved one in crisis DONOT go to Hospice of the Valley!
