As an instructor, she is patient, personable, and helpful. She is non-judgmental and encourages individuality in guiding her lessons. She has a wonderful attitude and a positivity that is infectious. As someone who commissioned an artwork from her, I found the experience to be totally professional. Chelz assured she had an understanding of what I wanted, sent me options, and kept me updated as the work progressed. Her talent and attention to detail is apparent in everything she does. Her love of color makes her work pop! Her dedication to her craft is obvious and It's clear bringing joy to others through her art is very important to her.

She responded that she actually makes these services available. Therefore, we ended up working together on a personal painting that I ended up gifting to my significant other as part of my engagement proposal. The painting was a big hit! Chelz brought everything over that was needed (16'' x 20'' canvas, easels, paper towels, palettes, paint, floor covers, tables, etc). I appreciated Chelz's patience, encouragement, optimism and leeway while she helped teach me to paint my customized painting. At every step, she would encourage me to add my own creativity to the painting. I had a great time working with her

Art of Colette Miller - Almost an angel...Palm Springs

Art of Colette Miller

"They were painted to remind humanity that we are the angels of this Earth."…read more Created by L.A. based artist and musician, Colette Miller, these angel wings are part of the Global Angel Wings Project that she started in 2012...a series of hand-painted life-sized angel wings as something uplifting in humanity, definitely something we all need right now. Created in a rainbow spectrum these wings represent the Pride movement and support for the LGBTQ community in Palm Springs. "The mural represents peace, individuality, and acceptance. The intention behind the wings is to celebrate diversity, hope, and finding the good within each person." These wings, like all the other wings she's painted across the globe, are at eye-level so passers by can interact with them and become part of the art. The group of us snapped quite a bit of photos the two times we passed by. The second time we had to wait our turn to step in front of them and snap some shots, very popular artwork and SUPER cool. For those of you from Hawaii, she also did an Angel Wings mural on the Anahulu's Shave Ice building in Haleiwa on the north shore of Oahu. Artwork is located on the ground floor of the Kimpton Rowan Hotel, on the east facing pedestrian walkway between the hotel and H&M clothing store.

A pleasant surprise!…read more While looking for parking in Beverly Grove, Alana spotted this beautiful piece of Public Artwork on the side of a brown building! We had to work together to bring our vision to life while staying within some building limitations, and he nailed it. 10/10 would recommend and would work with him again. Aaron created bespoke artwork for us that celebrate our heritage in macadamias, that was created into a mural, merchandise, and expanded also into community events in Hilo as well as Honolulu to celebrate our partnership. Mauna Loa is the heritage macadamia brand from Hawai'i, and it was an honor for us to work with Aaron to give back to the community that we are both a part of. Aaron is from Hilo, and worked with the local schools that he went to- Kamehameha Schools in creating the mural. We threw a Mauna Loa x Aaron Kai community event that was extremely well received, and our staff have commented on how the mural has lifted morale at the plant, as it is such a beautiful piece that everyone sees on their way to work. Aaron is a pleasure to work with, professional, and has become a friend personally since the completion of our project. We hope to work closely with him again in the future. If you're looking for a mural artist who brings both incredible talent and genuine joy to the…read moreprocess, look no further than Patti Paulson. This is actually the second mural Patti has created for us -- she painted a stunning piece in our living room a few years ago, and when we decided we wanted something special for our patio, she was the only call we made. Patti has a rare gift for taking your vision and making it even better than you imagined. We gave her a photo as a starting point, and from there she brought her own creativity and warmth to every detail -- including charming portraits of my husband, our cat, and me woven right into the design. Working with her is an absolute delight; she's enthusiastic, collaborative, and genuinely fun to have around. The finished mural is a work of art we'll treasure for years. We can't recommend Patti highly enough!

Hiring Patti for our wedding was the ABSOLUTE BEST decision we made throughout the entire planning…read moreprocess :) She left such an impression that I am compelled to write this review 2.5 years after our wedding (holy moly time flies!). We planned our wedding within 4 months and not too long before our wedding I found Patti's Live Wedding Services. I wanted something interactive and unique at our wedding, but we were on a budget. I thought we would need to hire a performer and then something separate the guests could interact with or that was unique - Patti is all of this in one and then some! Plus she offers options to work with your budget. Having a live artist at our wedding was absolutely mesmerizing! Not to mention you get the most beautiful and sentimental piece of art to keep forever....oh and she is a sweetheart! Her presence at our wedding alone felt like a gift. Our DJ cancelled on us two weeks before the wedding, and our venue cancelled one week before the wedding. The beautiful energy that Patti brought to the wedding brought tears to my eyes. She painted our wedding ceremony and I chose the option to upgrade where she takes the painting home and adds even more detail. When I saw the painting on our wedding day I was blown away. I could not even imagine what more she could possible do to enhance the piece. However, when I picked up the final piece from her and saw she had added my flower girls (nieces) to the painting I lost it! I wouldn't have even thought of that and it was the perfect element that I did't even know it needed. It was also very neat because I was able to make a request (the original painting had my husband and I with the priest during the ceremony and I had her remove the priest - you can't even tell he was ever there). It is just the most precious painting! You can identify each of my guests in the painting - she is that good! It's amazing to look at it and be able to tell which one is my dad and mom or which one is my husband's grandmother. Patti's live art blew my expectations out of the water. We had small versions of the painting printed and used them as thank you cards to that each of guests could keep the memory. If there is ONE thing I would recommend to any bride, it would be to have live art at your wedding and ensure you use Patti. Honestly. It will be the best choice you made!
