I normally don't want to place my comments. But this time I have chosen to do so due to my 2 unpleasant encounters with the dentist by the name of Melinda Lee Tzeng. I have never seen this dentist until recent year. As a mom, I want to be on top of things when certain procedures are taken place for my kids. I am not in this field; therefore, of course I will have a lot of questions. Unfortunately, my first unpleasant experience with this dentist was over the phone when my kid needed to extract her front teeth. Asking questions and to reassure everything before the actual procedure takes place is a normal standard for all parents. WHO would boldly enough to allow their kids to go ahead with the procedure without knowing the logistics and all questions/doubts to be answered. But this dentist was super impatient and not willing to answer my questions but catching up her time with a full house in her office. And then using this arrogant voice to ask me to ask questions after the procedure was over. And my second unpleasant encounter with this dentist named MELINDA LEE TZENG was , literally today. Again it was also related to tooth extraction. I wanted to see how the tooth extract to be done by her, so I stood up to see. Unfortunately, again, she uses her arrogant, unfriendly, impatient, and annoying voice said:"mom, please sit down or wait outside." I got so agitated right away. I didn't understand why I couldn't stand up to watch when I was not in the way. Anyways, my point is I haven't had such encounters with such dentist. I would not suggest to others. The dentists before her were nice and friendly. They patiently answered my questions and doubts with their expertise. But this dentist on the other hand treating me like a student with this mean face. And I am not sure if they are still with this clinic because I was told that there are only 2 dentist in this clinic. read more

My kids always have a good experience when they come in for cleanings and X-rays, etc. the staff is really friendly and they work well with the kids. My daughters have no issues getting their X-rays done, and my son got his first cleaning that went surprisingly well. They did inform me that there is a waitlist (about 4 weeks) for any sort of treatment and that they would call me when there's an opening. It sucks that the wait is so long because I would have liked to fix their cavities sooner, but what can you do? read more

I did not have a positive experience with the staff member who returned my call to find out if I could make an appointment for my son. The staff member may not have had a good day and called me at the end of their day and I perceived her as curt and abrupt. Quite frankly unprofessional, after collecting insurance info I was then told they don't have any appointments until a long time and hung up. I don't see that as a place I would enjoy taking my family to even if it was a long ways out. I hope they are excellent to others, I'm okay looking elsewhere. read more

I like this place, and so does my children. The office is really clean and we love how up-to-date the facility is. The artwork on the walls/ ceiling is so cool! We've been going here for about 3 years now and my children love going in for their visits. The dentist is really nice as well. Sometimes it can be challenging to reach them because they get busy but I leave a message and they call me back. Also, only one parent is allowed in the back with their child. That's never a problem for us because he goes with one of our children and I go with the other. They're still seeing children during COVID and are checking temperatures at the door and there's hand sanitizer everywhere for use. We went today for a visit and it was quick and pleasant. Love this place, my daughter goes here. She's 2 years old & she loves it. It's super clean. When you walk in it's toys & TVs for kids & a sitting area and the receptionist desk. Each room has a a little tv right over the seat so went your little one is getting there teeth cleaned they can watch TV. When you leave, they give you a bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, & a balloon. read more

My kids are 4 and 2 and we've been going for over 2 years now! They look forward to going!! The office itself is clean, well-decorated (my 4 year old niece commented, "Your dentist office is prettier than mine!") and there's plenty to do in the waiting area! I appreciate that the staff is helpful, friendly and give phone call reminders of upcoming appointments. The hygentists and dentists we've had (all female! which I personally appreciate as I have a daughter and appreciate women in the workplace role models) have all been great...no issues with anyone! My only tip would be that the office can be difficult to get to if you don't know where to turn...I've passed the driveway several times! It SHARES the driveway with Chevron...so when you see Chevron, turn in before passing the next building! read more

My kids actually liked this dentist the 2 stars is because of the front of staff very unprofessional never answers the phone always sends it to a voice mail that says the office is closed for Christmas and New Year and it's well pass the middle of January. I've been calling trying to schedule my boys a check up when I finally get someone she is rude and unprofessional it took her forever to navigate through the system then when I ask her for someone else to help me she states she is the only front office person who always helps which is a lie I told her NO their is usually a more helpful pleasant young lady. The conversation ended in me saying forget it I'll just move my kids to another office she said I have to email them to get my kids records so that's what I plan to do... FYI they no longer do Saturday appointments which they never sent anything saying that. read more

I had to update my review. They don't have the rude receptionist anymore. And like I had mention before all the other staff are amazing. However, they also don't have multiple dentist like before. They have one and I don't care for her. She's not good with the kids. She seems to never want to fill a cavity or listen to a parents concerns. Always pushes the issues aside. It's really clean they have toys and video games in the waiting area. I gave it a 4 because I think they can spend a little more time cleaning the kids teeth. First time coming for my 4 year olds check up for Kindergarten. Awesome environment for kids! I have never seen a dental office with wii game consoles before! Super cute interior and tvs in each room for the kids. Staff was friendly and I would definitely come back. They also accept medi-cal which is great too! I've taken both my boys here a few times in the last few months. The inside of the office is very inviting and kid friendly. It's equipped with a CLEAN tv and toy area for the kiddos to play at while they wait. We were here over the weekend because my eldest needed his teeth pulled. He has dental phobia just like I did as a child. The staff here is really great, from the front desk to the back of the house. The Dentists and her staff was very patient with him, through all of his tears. She walked us through each step, it was a quick procedure, plus he was more comfortable this visit. Anyone in need of urgent dental work she been first before just a general cleaning. That should be against the law to refuse someone in need of urgent dental work. After my 2nd visit at this Dentist office I felt the need to share my wonderful experience with Yelp. I first went to Wow Dental in Hayward and thought it would be good since it was a new office and had high hopes for them. After leaving my 3 year scare and terrified of the dentist, I was nervous how this visit would go. The first time I made appointment to see if Wow did do a filling on her two front teeth. Due to the experience, she would not let the Dentist nor the assistant come near her. Fast forward to last week after 4 months from last visit, a difference and dentist was able to clean and floss her teeth. My children have been coming here for a year now. The staff have been extremely professional and patient with my children. My 4&9 year old live coming here. My middle child ( age 5) is often anxious about the dentist and going to the doctor. Through his crying the staff was friendly, kind, and very assuring to him. Letting him feel the vibration of the polisher on his finger before attempting to clean his teeth. And listen to his concerns of having a few wiggly teeth that he wanted them to avoid during the clean. They also were very diligent during his xrays, as he was anxious about that process as well... My kids are from the age 3 to 5. I've always come here for years and I love all the staff's but one. The rude receptionist! The front desk lady Laura was the only one I've had issues with. She forgets she works at a CHILDREN'S dentistry, and that they put the toys there for the kids to play with while they're waiting. She would always eye the kids out, and would come and clean up while all the kids are still sitting there trying to play with the toys. When I confronted her today, She states that having the toys out were a safety issues. Well then don't put the toys out, if it's a safety issue! And she would give the kids a dead stare when she hears them laughing or giggling at either the tv, or simply cause they're enjoying the toys. If you want a quiet lobby, DON'T WORK FOR CHILDREN'S DENTIS CLINIC THAT HAS TOYS IN IT. read more

We love this place. The place is decorate super fun for the kids. The have games and TV in each room. They are super quick, and try to make the experience as quick as possible for the kids. All the decor and games really helps it be a place my kids look forward to going. The receptionist came and calmed my son down and talked him into sitting on the chair by himself. This clinic has taken care of my first and second son's teeth. The staff up front is very professional and courteous. The dentists are very friendly and there are tv's at all the chairs. There's nothing that will make kids feel the hygienists' hand less but at least the tv entertains my kids until the hygienist comes. I'm grateful this place exists. read more

What a horrible and Un professional experience. I was told by the receptionist today that my accounts upnfor.review because I missed 3 appts for my son. WE - HOW did I.miss them if it was a re-schedule. Reading from the other yelpers, they do not send reminders, they do mix child's accounts up and they do schedule appts as they want. Very interesting to be informed about the policy they have the last minute and they will argue with you instead of a solution. not planning on taking my kid here now especially with unprofessional and not happy staff. read more

Worst Dentist ever!! I took my daughter who is 5 years old for her first check up. She had been going to a different dentist where she has never had cavities. All of the sudden I take her to this new dentist at Forever Fun Children's dentistry and they tell me she has 4 cavities and that she might have to put her to sleep to do the procedure. I left and said I will wait for their call and see if I decide to have them do the procedure or not. I was concerned because she had never had cavities and all of the sudden she has 4??? I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist I had seen since I was in middle school and they did x-rays and turns out she has NO CAVITIES. Everyone that i have encountered on our visits (Saturdays) are very friendly and polite. They have WiiU consoles there for the kid gamer. And books, blocks and rocking things for other kids.
