I do like my haircut and I'd probably pay to have a coffee with Sam as much as have my hair done by her, but my very basic cut/clean-up trim was $165. Everyone was booked at least a month out, but Janelle emailed me back the same day and was able to get me in the following week with LaMani for a color correction and cut. LaMani was so knowledgeable and friendly, and she really took the time to assess my hair and see what it needed. She even tested dyes and products on individual curls to see what would work best. She then color corrected, washed, styled and cut my hair. My hair was previously purple, and the color had faded out to blue, green and even white in some areas. It was a mess. I hadn't a had a facial in years, I was looking forward to this. Earlier in the day while grocery shopping, either my wallet was stolen or I misplaced it. I knew that they had this no show policy where they charge you if you don't come. So I called and told them what happened, that I had no way to pay, considering it was Sunday and there weren't any banks open. I was willing to come in and have the facial (I wasn't technically no showing) I just couldn't pay them at that moment. I was stuck, I had no idea what to do. Then they have the audacity to ask if I could borrow the money from someone!!!!!!!!!!!! Um no, I am a grown woman, I'm not going to go ask a family member to loan me money for a facial. The girl says, "ok well I'm going to talk to my manager about the circumstances and I'll get back with you". It is now five days later (no call from anyone) and guess what comes across on my account. A 59.00 charge for no showing. Actually now that I'm sitting here thinking of it, I gave them my card information when I made the appointment so I wouldn't be bothered having to stop at the desk after a relaxing facial.
