I jumped into my little yellow jeep as I clocked out at 5 pm wearing a colorful mini to five finger discount my new piece. (I paid for it; I am just trying to sound more south side than I really am). It's on the east end of Houston, I love this area, I was a mocosa growing up in these parts. Love driving down the streets my mom used to drive on. I hardly get out this way anymore, except recently this shop, the winery, the other boutiques in this strip and Bohemeo's attract my attention often. Kismet just happens to be my favorite. Nothing is relatively cheap, but it doesn't exactly break the bank if you know how to stay within a budget. #fail I have bought several jewelry pieces and the clothes always catches my attention as well. I especially like that I can find cool wardrobe pieces for my vacations. I usually pick 4th of July to wear something special during my summer travels. Kismet is now my go to spot for them finds. Guys I'm Texas, more than Kismet. I don't want ya'll getting the wrong idea about the place you are not walking into all TX store. On July 30th, I was told my item would be shipped to my address within 30 days. However, it is now September 16th and I was told the process was never initiated AND my item still needs to be reviewed with internal partners for an update that will take 7-10 more business days. When I requested basic information such as the current location of my item, the applicable commission rate for compensation if they misplaced it , and a reason of what went wrong the company and its staff responded that they have "no further updates" on either point. I have not received confirmation that my item is accounted for, what the next steps actually are, or who is responsible for resolving this. They keep re-sending the same emails and not answering a single question. This is not the level of service or security I expect when entrusting someone with my valuable personal property. At this point, I have no visibility into where my item is, what is being done about it, or what I will be compensated if they cannot process it. Their consignment concierge team of Jasmyne, Mika, and Toya are unprofessional, careless, and simply awful. I regret that I ever came across them and pray to God no one ever has the same experience I've had. Hopefully I get my item back or that's $1800 down the drain because of their carelessness and irresponsibility. I'm truly sick to my stomach.

She replied that it was just the deposit, not the total cost of the service. It was not clear during the booking that it was a deposit only but fine (maybe it would have been obvious if I had selected something way more expensive and being charged $10 instead). This was fine since the deposit gets applied at the end anyway. I also explained that I have an email reply saying it would cost $15 so I don't know where the $25 came from. She hesitantly agreed that she would only charge me $15 instead. I paid for the $5 difference at the end of the appointment. The inconsistency in the pricing (with additional confusion on appt deposit) is frustrating. I like having a clear idea of what I'm paying without any surprises. The work itself was fine. She clipped off my bracelet, took the old loop off, clipped off the extra length and zapped a new loop on. I'm happy with the end result.
