UPDATE: I wanted to come back and update my review because I truly believe it's important to…read moreacknowledge when a business makes an effort to make things right.
After sharing my experience, the owner personally reached out to me and took the time to listen to my concerns. She was incredibly kind, understanding, and genuinely apologetic about how things went. She also shared that she had discussed my feedback with her team and was taking steps to ensure other brides have a better experience moving forward.
While it doesn't change my original experience, I really appreciate the care and thoughtfulness she put into her response, along with her generous offers to make things right. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her brides and her business.
I still stand by my original feedback, but I also want to give credit where it's due. The way a business responds to criticism says a lot, and I truly appreciate how she handled everything.
Beautiful dress, incredibly disappointing experience.
I recently purchased my wedding dress from Unbridaled, and while I absolutely love my dress, I cannot say the same about the experience.
My initial appointment with Natalie was wonderful. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, my next two appointments were the complete opposite.
During my second appointment, when I ultimately purchased my dress, the associate was disengaged and offered very little guidance. My family and I actually had to go looking for her to ask questions about alterations and other details. My sister and friends even commented on how disappointing the service was.
When I returned to try on my dress after it arrived, I experienced the same dismissive attitude from another associate. Simple questions were met with what felt like annoyance rather than a willingness to help. Once again, Natalie was the only bright spot.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I visited another bridal boutique where the customer service was exceptional. Had they carried the dress I wanted, I would have purchased it there without hesitation. Ultimately, I purchased from Unbridaled because they carried the dress I loved, not because of the experience they provided.
I understand that not every bridal appointment needs to be extravagant, but kindness, attentiveness, and genuine customer service should be the bare minimum, regardless of how much someone spends.
What ultimately prompted me to leave this review was the lack of acknowledgment after making multiple attempts to share my concerns privately. I first spoke with the store manager over the phone and subsequently sent a detailed, respectful email directly to the owner on October 9, outlining my experiences and offering to discuss them further.
As of October 21, nearly two weeks later, I have received no response or acknowledgment whatsoever. I intentionally allowed time for the owner to respond before sharing my experience publicly, as I genuinely hoped my feedback would be received and taken seriously.
For a boutique that promotes a personalized bridal experience, that silence is particularly disappointing. Customer service shouldn't end once a purchase has been made, and I would have expected at least an acknowledgment of my concerns.
Finding and purchasing your wedding dress is supposed to be one of those special moments you look back on fondly. Instead, I'm left feeling disappointed that an experience I had looked forward to for so long was handled with so little care.
Natalie deserves recognition for being wonderful, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of what I would expect from a boutique of this caliber.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because future brides deserve better.
