I got a few items and was ready to pay. First, the cashier said I had to provide email to receive receipt because they don't print paper receipts anymore. I rejected to provide email and she started to say I am doing you a favor for one time but next time I will ask your email. I said ok. Then, the cashier asked me credit or debit. I said credit and she said I wanted to see your ID. I shopped many times in Forever 21 using my credit card but was never told by a cashier to provide my ID. And when I said no and asked for a manager. The other cashier next to this cashier immediately said I am the manager and my name is Luppe or Lupe. And she said my transaction is rejected given I can't provide my ID. They can ask my ID but I can say no. The point is they can't reject me if I want to use my credit card to pay. If the card is signed on the back the cashier is not allowed to refuse service to the customer if customer refuse to produce an ID, at least when it comes to all the major credit card brands. I am new immigrant and I am discriminated by the two cashiers. I like the prices and the trendy clothes. The customer service on the other hand is... not the worst I've ever encountered but close to. Twice now I've asked different employees if they could help me as a paying customer. You'd think that's reasonable, right? Apparently they do not. I ask one of the girls if age could find me a different size in something. 5, 10, 15 minutes go by while I'm standing there in my skivvies listening to some weird customer do this throat itching thing REALLY LOUDLY in the fitting room next to me. After 15 minutes I decide to just get dressed and go look for the different size myself giving her the benefit of the doubt. Much to my shock she is standing where they count your clothes in that you want to try on. I walk out past her and she says nothing. I come back with my new sizes and she literally doesn't say ANYTHING as she's counting my items in or taking me to my new fitting room. How awkward is that? I say nothing realizing that she's a teenager and this is obviously her first and maybe only job... EV-ER. Second weird experience happens a couple days later when I call and ask if they can put a specific skirt on hold for me. She says that because I don't have the style code that she will put a few similar skirts on hold for me. I made it clear as Saran Wrap that I was on my way like THAT NIGHT. I get there and I tell her my name and that there were supposed to be some skirts on hold for me, I tell her the name of the person that "helped" me and believe you me I am throwing that word around generously right now! And she says Yah that was me, but I didn't put anything on hold for you. I just kind of shook my arms like What??? So I speak to the manager and she really seems just complacent. I don't feel like I was listened to or valued as a customer but I will probably go back because I wear the clothes. I just won't expect any assistance at all from the employees. read more

My daughter drags me here once or twice a year so she can try on cheap clothing while I struggle to find a place to sit or stand and listen to too loud music. It's rare that she actually finds anything that she likes but she steadfastly tries. The service is non-existent but the cashiers are corporate friendly and efficient. If I were in my late teens / early twenties, I might feel different about this very ordinary place. read more

I was fortunate to have a cashier named Maya when I visited the store today she helped me with a return and was so sweet and friendly I decided to do some more shopping! She's like a ray of sunshine and totally brightened my day! Also the store was super organized and they were so thoughtful about covid. The store itself is nice. I love the clothes. I use to shop at Forever 21 in my teens and early twenties and the clothing has come a long way over the past 10+ years. The quality use to be terrible. I've personally not had any issues with things over the past 5 years. I always find something cute when I go in, too many cute items to be exact. Can't get me into trouble. The thing I have to complain about and reason I'm only giving this location a 3 star is for two reasons; two very important reasons. 1.) The staff and 2.) the store setup. To put it bluntly, the staff is terrible, not all of them but a good chunk. It could be 6 people in line and only one cashier ringing with three others behind the cash wrap running their mouth talking. That's so freaking annoying one of the biggest pet peeves of mine as a consumer. I know it bugs other customers too. I mean, I know it's not always necessarily up to the sales associate if they can leave the floor to check people out. You'd think the manager/supervisor would be smart enough to handle that. Now, the store setup. Like I mentioned early; the store itself is nice. However, it's beyond crowded and what I mean by that is the clothing racks. I swear I can NEVER decide where to start when looking for clothes here. There are always wayyyyyyy TOO many clothes crammed on those racks. Things folded and hidden on top of too tall shelves. I get overwhelmed sometimes and it's annoying because I know I'm missing something cute because of all of the clutter mess. It's insane. read more

The sales associates and managers at this store or just awful assist in the same way associates at other branches do. Have nothing but good things to say about the sales stuff at pioneer place. Unfortunately they just seem to have more items at this location. Despite that I won't be going back. Was told over phone I could make a return without a receipt that was purchased off f21 cc and be able to use as credit so hauled the items I needed to return (huge jacket) all the way back only to be turned down. Literally went straight to another location who were able to help immediately and were kind and friendly. Got nothing but attitude and disdain at the clackamas location. I hope they restaff it soon because I'm definitely not going back as long as the current management is still around. read more

I fancy myself a bit of a Forever 21 savant. Is this something I'm proud of? Absolutely not. But I do have to weigh in on this 2 star rating! This is without a doubt my favorite Forever 21 in the Portland metro area. They have a mens section, kids, plus size, active wear - They have it all! Know that this is a 5 star in terms of Forever 21's. Not that Forever 21 is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" as far as clothing in general goes. This location is remarkably well organized and spacious, which is not a luxury of all Forever 21s where things are generally thrown around and crammed together. I am slowly beginning to understand that Forever 21 and I wont be "Forever" as the name suggests....but goddamnit let me hold on a little bit longer okay?! read more

Don't waste your time going into this endless pit of clothes. The associates won't help you, and they're busy pretending to work. But if you take a minutes to stand there and watch (if you can even tolerate it), everyone just walks around like they have something to accomplish, but they're really just walking around in circles. They'll all huddle around and chat and then pretend to look at a piece of paper. Once you catch on to them not really working, they scatter again. And you'd think that the mess is from people looking through the clothes and trying to get their size... If you look at the stack of camis that aren't even scattered, and still nicely folded, you can see that they don't bother to size their merchandise in the first place. So if they want to know why their store always looks like the mess it is, it's because they don't even set it up in a way that customers don't have to mess it up. read more

Everyone in here is SO rude!!! One lady told me I could return everything so I needed to come back with the receipt. I brought the receipt back the next day for them to tell me they can't give me store credit or even half of what's owed to me!?! That was my final straw at forever 21. Also this romper was like this when I got home. I bought a ton of stuff here. A TON. And you can't at least take one item back? The girls could've at least been nicer about it. I'm a fan of this new Forever 21 location inside Clackamas Town Center! Prior to Black Friday 2012, they were situated in a cramped section of the mall near the food court & Macy's. (I agree - that old space was too tiny for all of F21's inventory which made for a lot of clutter and mayhem ---- maybe that's why there are so many low ratings). UPDATE your reviews because this new space is awesome! New location: Across from Barnes & Nobles; between Sears & Macy's Home Furnishing. - TWO FLOORS of clothes, shoes and accessories. - this location carries: women's clothing, plus sizes (2nd fl), kids (1st fl) and mens (2nd fl) - 2 dressing rooms (1st and 2nd floor) - large spacious layout w/an escalator in the middle of the store & an elevator near the 1st floor dressing room - large shoe section on the 2nd floor - clean dressing rooms I'm glad CTC finally updated F21. It's comparable to their two story space in Pioneer Place, but I think this one is cleaner and has less clutter. read more

Aside from the storm on the East coast, this store is a wreck! The sales associates don't know their left from their right and the shirt you're trying on has been trampled on by 5 people before the associates picked it up. Shouldn't zones be assigned to the employees to keep track of and keep it together? I know I know, a F21 on 82nd St.. sounds a little shady right?? But this place is not half bad. I've always found a great selection and it's never super busy so you can generally find the sizes that you want ( which is impossible in most urban F21's). So that makes it pretty special in itself. Only downside is the hours, which match the malls and are sooooo early to close, but if you're a true shopper you can go in and out pretty quickly and will not be let down. read more

The stuffs cute, but thats the brand. The brand should pay attention to who their company hires, and who the faces are. I went to this location, walked up to a completely empty counter. Facing the sales associate. She had her head down and was not looking up to see anyone around her, or if anyone was around. Seconds later, a friend of hers called her name and asked if they could get a discount on a "broken" necklace...she said 10%, and rang them up...RIGHT next to me....then she rudely looked at me and said "Do you have a question?" (as people were lining up behind this friend of hers)...and I said, "no, I've been waiting to purchase this item." I am so furious with the customer service at this horrible place. When I bought the skirt I specifically asked what the return policy was. No one ever told me that it would only be store credit. When I went to return the product the store manager told me I would only get store credit. I told her I specifically asked about the return policy and the employee never said anything about store credit. It has the tags still on and the recipt. I asked if she could look at the recipt to see who the employee was so she could teach her the correct way. I asked for her to put it back on my card and she said no. What a horrible place. Literally EVERYTIME I go into this store NO ONE says anything to me. I have to track down an associate to ask my question or get help and even then it seems as if I am in incovienence to them. They don't care about your experience, needs, or wants, or anything for that matter! I live next to the mall and have been there more times than I can remember and the service never changes. All the girls are rude and stuck up, as well that the management (that I have seen). Yesterday I went to pick out an outfit for a Christmas party I was going to. I was there for over 2 hours trying to piece together and outfit, try anything on, and find what I needed. Several people walked by me but no one bothered to ask me anything or even acknowledge I was there. No one asked me if I found everything ok... no one asked me how my stuff fit and no one ever asked if I needed help. I can't stand people like this. I love F21 but I would rather go elsewhere and pay more for friendly service that cares. This needs to be addressed with the REGIONAL MANAGER. Since no one else will fix it. These employees need to be sat down individually. If you don't take your customers seriously we won't take your business seriously. No one likes a bad attitude. If I could I wouldn't even give it a star. Completely unsatisfied and disappointed in the employees and management within this store. read more
