The neighbor had topped the trees and they responded by growing sideways. The job was to return the trees to the original topped height and bring them in to the fence line making them look like a manicured hedge. There were 3 trucks and all work was done by climbers passing limbs to a ground crew on my side. I was impressed by the organization and crews ability to work in my extensive garden without damaging it. Some of the limbs were 5" and lowered by rope. My fence and garden survived. Cleanup perfect and trees filled in perfectly for both my neighbor and I. Crew and Forman easy to work with, saw my vision and took an interest in what the were doing. Now over a year later the area is beautiful. Strongly recommend this company!

AR Summary (not AI Summary):…read more Service: prompt, friendly, knowledgeable Quality: thorough, tidy, respectful of surroundings Value: very reasonable Details: A gentle rain doesn't seem like the last straw for a tree, but sometimes it is. Late Thursday night, we heard a distant *whomp* as we were in bed and thought someone had spun out their tires on the wet pavement. Cut to: 6:45 am on Friday morning, to a desperate ringing doorbell from a kind UPS driver who let us know that a huge chunk of our beloved cherry plum was in the road, blocking one lane of our fairly busy street. Panic at the driveway! My lobster did a quick search and found Peter's Tree Service. Peter showed up within 15 minutes, as indicated in the phone call. I was surprised when he pulled up in a small car and thought maybe he would be calling someone else, but, like Hermione's bag with an undetectable extension charm, he produced a small but effective chainsaw and made quick work of the mahoosive limb blocking the road. Between the three of us, we were able to drag the branches off the road and sidewalk into our yard, and normal traffic resumed. Peter was responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. Our cherry plum succumbed to water intrusion and rotted at the points where it connected to the trunk, then one limb gave way into the road. We noticed darkening of the bark on the other limbs, indicating water intrusion, and with Peter's guidance, we decided to remove the tree to avoid another road closure and potential harm to people and autos. As part of the emergency service, he offered to come back on Saturday to remove the limbs and brush. He provided a quote for the emergency service and full tree removal. Their prices are extremely competitive for emergency work and whole-tree removal. We were able to have the tree removed today, even as the predicted light rain turned to torrential downpour at one point. The team left the site tidy, given all the sawing and debris, and finished the job quickly, in about an hour. We wanted to keep some of the wood, and they thoughtfully left it in movable pieces. In addition, Peter offered helpful guidance on filling in our now-bare space. Thanks, Peter & team!

My neighbor across from me hired them to take down 5 very very large fir trees. Once the permit was obtained in lake Oswego climbing monkeys were at my neighbors house PROMPTLY. My neighbor notified me that they would be in front out our houses at 8 am and they were. There was still ice on the ground and heavy winds and rain, climbing monkey still came with their whole crew. They brought wood chopper, crane, 2 trucks to haul and 11 crew members. They were all very kind and helpful, cleaned up our street of all the debris. Removed all the trunks and branches and kept things immensely tidy. When they came back on Saturday even with the high winds and rain they acted professionally and defied physics by cutting the top of the tree having it secured on rope, anchored to the tree and the truck and totally fell avoiding my neighbors house!!!! I was SURE it was going to knick the house, but it completely avoided all damages! Will try to post the video if I can get it from my neighbor.
