I brought my Honda Accord to Britland for services related to damage from debris due to a Jeep…read moreLiberty striking a power pole and mailbox in front of my house and damaging my parked car. Britland listed what needed to be done on the estimate, and then failed to complete it. It was also listed on the final bill. State Farm has already paid for the incomplete work. When I went to pick up the vehicle and saw the repairs, I immediately asked why its not done. They then brought the estimator out for me to speak to for the first time. I thought the estimator was someone else in the front office at first, since they were the only people I had spoken to at the shop, prior to picking up the vehicle. The Estimator, Randal Aguilar, refused to let me speak, and kept insisting not to interrupt him when I tried to explain that the information he was reading is not true/correct or relevant because it didn't mention the Honda. He then became combative, hostile, and threatening. He threatened to not discuss the work, and was trying to convince me that I was in a collision. His demeanor was extremely malevolent and I felt like he wanted to attack me. I think I would have remembered If I was in a collision though. He did not believe me until I showed him the photographic evidence and police report, which Britland Autobody already had from when I dropped off the vehicle. The front desk even understood that my car was stationary, but the estimator couldn't understand the plain English in the information that the Front Desk had provided. They even admitted they don't understand why Randal thinks I was in a collision, when their info says otherwise. I showed him the estimate that he was reading stated the description was regarding a Jeep Liberty, with no mention of a Honda Accord. I asked, "So where is the description for the Honda Accord, then, since you say it was in a collision? Why does it say the Jeep was in a collision?" It was like watching a light bulb flicker on and off in his head, before finally getting constant. I could see the confusion in his eyes, but instead of addressing the situation, he insisted its my responsibility and acted aggressively defensive. When he was finally able to understand that he read the report incorrectly, he attempted to apologize insincerely as if it was my fault that he had the wrong information. He accused me of not providing evidence to anyone, which is untrue. He would no longer help me whatsoever. Randal refused to admit responsibility and insisted it was up to me if I wanted him to fix the issue by calling State Farm, who already 100% approved the repairs. The Estimator wanted me to believe that he had spoken to State Farm and that he was unable to complete the repairs because they told him he couldn't. He said that my car had struck a pole on the side, and not the rear. He refused to allow me to leave the vehicle on their property in order to satisfy the request of finishing the work, essentially forcing me to take it to prevent cost from being towed. Basically, the Estimator refused to do his job. When I asked for him to get the correct information, he tried to tell me that he already spoke to State Farm representative, and that the repairs were denied "because of the side of the car that I struck the pole with." He even tried to say that State Farm thought I was in the collision, so I know for fact that he did not speak with them. Even after explaining everything to him, and informing him with updated information, he is sticking to the story of how my car was in a collision, thus State Farm said they don't want me to bring the car back to this shop. summary: The shop refused to accommodate me any further after work was not completed satisfactorily. Britland will only let me speak to the estimator, Randal Aguilar, even after I complained about his scary behavior. Randal knows that he made a mistake and wants to cover his responsibility by acting like its completely done and can not be repaired further, unless directed by the insurance company to continue. He already billed the insurance company for the work that wasn't done, and the insurance company has already stated many times that the damage is to be covered, as long as it doesn't surpass the vehicle value/cost ratio, which it has not. Do not bring your car here unless you want to be threatened and made to feel uncomfortable for wanting adequate work.

My car was flooded and the insurance was willing to total the car, but I wanted to salvage the car…read more Britland's representative (Greg) understood my concern and worked diligently to save the car. The car was immaculate when I got it back and due to the insurance claim, the work is guaranteed for a long as I own the car. I was extremely happy with the work and especially the customer service and communication from Greg.
