Jason swung by at the agreed upon time (he even texted me his ETA) and as we walked through the job site, he listened to me describe my vision and immediately understood the look I was going for. He offered suggestions without being pushy and helped me visualize the potential of my project. Jason provided his estimate the following day as promised. He was proactive in looking for ways we could descope my project to fit within my budget. He made himself available to discuss modifications over the phone, and responded to my texts and emails promptly. I ultimately went an different direction with my hardscaping, but would consider Flores Artscape for any future full-service landscaping company in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them!

They installed a new lawn, TimberTech deck, native plants, irrigation and drainage, lighting, and tied our existing front-yard irrigation into the new system. The design process was easy and affordable, and Jonathan was on site every day. He was communicative, thoughtful, and paid attention to the little details throughout the project. The whole crew was great to have around and kept everything clean at the end of each day. They even did a thorough final cleanup of the windows and doors around the yard. Neal arrived on time, thoroughly assessed the system, and replaced all of the necessary sprinkler heads. He also provided effective solutions for improving the coverage and performance of several irrigation zones. In addition to the excellent service, their pricing was very reasonable. We decided to clean up the area so we could host an important family event, and our search led to Gio and his team. He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. I absolutely loved working with Jose and his team. They were able to come very quickly and promptly completed the work we requested. They have reasonable pricing and Jose constantly went the extra mile to keep us informed of the progress and of what else was needed. We had artificial turf installed and they cleaned out our bushes, weeds, brush, and dirt before installing it. We have also had them trim tall trees and remove several large trees and bushes as well. Jose, the owner of Foregrounds was sent to me by the Landscape fairy's when we started planning our landscape, however we hired a guy that was a few hundred dollars cheaper, BIG MISTAKE. Jose and his team had xeroscaped my front lawn a couple of years ago. But when the sidewalks were replaced on our street the landscaping of the treet lawn was badly damaged. Just got done digging up the dead tree Yosi and RainforestLA plated for us so thought I would…read morefinally sit down to write this long overdue review. 1) After we contracted with the team it took them 5 months to start the project. Contracted March 21st 2021, work began August. 2) When they finally started the work Yosi went on vacation and wasn't present for most of the work. 3) Gave the team specific instructions to follow our property line when laying DG. Team failed to follow property line and diverted multiple feet. Had to argue with Yosi to get them to adjust the work which they eventually did. 4) We wanted specific species of tree and plants for our yard design, however Yosi only allows you to use his ONE vendor, which didn't have the varieties we wanted. Despite our disappointment, we went ahead and chose a tree and plants from the selection offered by his vendor. His team then BROKE THE TREE IN HALF when moving it in position. We asked for a replacement however it was the last tree of that variety. Of course it was the only type we liked from the selection, but again we took the disappointment and selected a different species of tree. Unfortunately the second tree wasn't plated correctly and it blew over in a storm and died. We paid another landscaper $400 try to save it by replanting it however the roots were compromised. 5) We selected succulents for the yard which should be pretty tolerant to heat, however several plants died because they did not lay the drip line close enough to the plants. I mentioned this to him, however he suggested it was in the right place despite the plants dying. When we asked him to replace the plants (APRIL 4th 2022) he sent a guy over (AUGUST 19th 2022) with cheaper plants despite our having provided the correct species needing replacement MULTIPLE TIMES. He then informed us he could not find the varieties which had dies any longer. 6) We left the placement of the plants to him. He clustered larger varieties so near to one another they are not touching. Of course they may just be growing faster than others because the drip line is so out of whack. Save yourself the headache and the disappointment.
