    Hair cut & Style

Forecast Salon is a whole mood! It's got a funky Art Deco vibe! From the moment you enter the facility, you are treated like you've been a client for a very long time. The prices are so reasonable and it's a huge place! Their stylists are all very knowledgeable and masters at their craft. I moved from Miami and I'm a curly girl, I sent them an email about what I was looking for and they matched with the most perfect stylist! They will answer all your questions in a timely and professional manner. My stylist is Taria, she's amazing! I loved the hair cut and I received the best blowout I've gotten aside from my mom who's a stylist back in Miami. Give it a shot if you're looking for a salon, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I was visiting from out of town and this salon was highly recommended to me by a friend. Brittany was so fun and gave me a great cut. Now I'm thinking of how to time my visits with my haircuts LOL :)

Color is grown out and was not performed at Forecast, but I love the cut and loose, beach waves Alicia gave me!

Just had my first service at Forecast, and it was amazing! I was a little wary going to a salon since COVID-19, but the amount of care and thought the salon is putting towards being safe is truly impressive. Guests wait in their cars until their stylist is ready, my emperature was checked on arrival, all guests must wash their hands/sanitize phones on arrival, stations were spaced out, and employees and guests were all wearing masks and using hand sanitizer around the clock. They are sanitizing every surface in the salon every 90 minutes and have an air scrubber to reduce contamination in the air. I felt very reassured and safe getting a hair service at Forecast. The interior decor is very modern and relaxing, and I love that the owner's friendly dog was at the salon as well. They also offer alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks which I will definitely enjoy at my next service, but I held off so that I could keep my mask on the entire time given that I work in healthcare and have had some recent COVID-19 exposures. Alicia gave me a perfect haircut (just a trim with long layers) all while being sweet, bubbly and a friendly face to talk to. She gave the best head massage with my shampoo. It seems like she is new to working part-time at Forecast, but has been working in hair for over 10 years and works full-time for a hair product company providing education on hair & coloring-- she seemed like a true pro, and I would definitely recommend her! I will for sure be back to try out their color services.

I got a haircut from Abbey and I absolutely love it. I wanted to change up my long hair and get some light layers. We took off 6 inches and I'm so happy with how it turned out! I will definitely be back for her to do my hair in the future.

hands down the best salon I've ever been to. I change my hair a lot, so I had been on a constant search for the right place until I found forecast. They've given me the exact color I wanted every time (even one that another salon said was impossible) without damaging my hair, and every haircut I've gotten there has been perfect - they gave me enough confidence to dive in and go for bangs. When I move out of state for college, I'm probably going to travel back here every few months just so I can keep using them. My usual stylist is Tristan, and I've never had a bad experience - he always makes sure that the color/style is personalized and takes the time to make sure that I'm happy with the result. Even when I get bounced around during one of my 4-hour hair transformations, each staff member treats me with genuine care and is invested in the outcome. Love you guys!

Went to Forecast for my first time today and was SO pleased! Billy was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in he made me feel welcome and like I had been there for years. He took time to get to know me and my hair, asked me what I wanted and even looked at my pinterest board with me! Walked in for a trim and left with a trim and a Balayage! I am in love with my new hair and I felt so confident walking out of this salon. I will 100% be back! BILLY IS THE BEST!

Complimentary drinks and of course delicious fruit infused water!

I took a seat for about 5 minutes while Tristan got his station ready, that's when I was also offered a complimentary mimosa!

I don't know what she did, but my hair had NEVER been softer. Some stylists are still wearing masks, many are not, but every time I saw a customer come in with a mask, I overheard their stylist ask the customer if they wanted their stylist to wear one (and Sarah asked me as well!). I think they could do a better job of explaining all the services that will be done to accomplish your goal, because it felt like a bit of a whirlwind to me, but I also didn't ask. All in all, it was a GREAT experience (complete with complimentary drinks!).

Are you wondering why I gave one star? Honestly, Wheelhouse Salon deserves none, but that wasn't an…read moreoption. My experience here was extremely disappointing, aside from my initial consultation with Angelika on Oct. 20th. During the consult, I explained that my main goal was to blend my 3-month gray grow-out into something easier to maintain. I showed her photos of the soft gray-blended look I wanted, and she never once said it couldn't be achieved in one session. She filled out a laminated service card with the exact services and prices required, and I booked based on that information. On Oct. 28th, I arrived for the first color appointment. After reviewing the same photos again, Angelika brought over another stylist, and they decided to add a shadow root. When she finished, my hair looked nothing like what I asked for--I left with blue roots and barely any blonde. She apologized and said she'd fix it at my next scheduled appointment on Nov. 12, which included both the correction and a keratin treatment. Since she promised it would all be handled then, I trusted her. When checking out that day, I was charged $393.32--lower than the quote--but still tipped 20% because she said she planned to fix everything. My total came to $471.98. On Nov. 12th, I showed up expecting the correction and the keratin, as previously discussed. Instead, I was told I had to choose one service because she hadn't booked enough time. I chose the keratin since that's what she had scheduled. Afterward, while checking out, the front desk tried charging me $476 instead of the quoted $315, saying I "hadn't paid enough" at the first visit and they needed to collect an additional $40. This was never communicated. They removed one $40 error, but I still ended up paying $456.54. After realizing that I had now spent over $900 and still didn't have anything close to the color I asked for, I messaged Angelika directly through the contact card she provided. She read the message but never replied. When I called the salon to review the charges, another error was found and I was refunded $48.29--even though their written policies state they "don't offer refunds." It was clear I had been overcharged multiple times. I reached out again to clarify my Dec. 1 correction appointment. The salon later texted me saying Angelika felt she only owed me a base color and blow-dry, and that I would have to pay for the foil and toner--another $274. This would have pushed the total cost of this disaster to well over $1,200. They also claimed that my desired gray-blended look takes multiple sessions, something never mentioned in the consult or at any point before taking my money. Angelika had expressed total confidence that she could achieve the look. At this point, nothing made sense. How can stylists turn dark brown hair into pink, purple, or blue in a single appointment, yet somehow blending soft gray tones supposedly requires multiple expensive sessions? Either they lack the skill or they are price-gouging. I'm sharing this to save others from the time, money, and frustration I experienced. Always take a photo of the laminated service card--they rely on it, and you should too. My before photo, the inspiration photos I provided, and the results I left with were not remotely aligned. My 3-month gray grow-out is gone, and I paid nearly a thousand dollars for a result I never asked for.

My dermatologist said that the damage was from her pulling. She also broke off a lot of hair. That hair started growing back within 3 months. In contrast, hair that is pulled from the roots can take years to grow back. I'm wondering why a salon that specializes in natural hair has a stylist who doesn't know how to comb hair. Using conditioner and parting before combing is key. You also must part before blow drying. She attempted to comb my hair all at once and to blow dry it all at once. This is a bad practice. Also, she did not condition or moisturize my hair well. I've been to other salons and no one has had a problem combing my hair. It is next level for someone to pull your hair out. I told her my scalp hurt and was sore. She acted like it was no big deal. I went in the salon with very healthy long hair that was even. But I left with my hair being a choppy mess.
