This restaurant is very comfortable and down to earth. We stopped in for lunch. I had the homemade chicken noodle soup. It had a tasty broth, thick, long as spaghetti noodles, corn, carrots and broccoli, and large pieces of chicken. The portion was so large I couldn't finish it. I had also ordered a BLT on brown bread. The bread was not overly toasted. The sandwich was tasty. My husband had ordered the club sandwich with homemade french fries. Instead of turkey, ham was used. Surprisingly tasty. It was so nice to have fries without that chemical flavouring. They were so fresh tasting. The price for the lunch was quite reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. The rest of the menu looked to be full of comfort food. We'll definitely stop in again. As a note, they only take cash or debit. read more
