Came to Ford's Garage for a casual meal, left with a life-changing experience thanks to Thomas. I don't know how he did it, but my drink was never empty, my food tasted better than expected, and my mood improved instantly. At one point I'm pretty sure he anticipated what I needed before I knew myself. If Ford's Garage ever loses Thomas, morale nationwide may drop. Absolute legend. We have been to other locations, and this is one chain restaurant where the quality is the same. We brought friends of ours who had never been here before and they were enthralled with all the cool decorations. We arrived at 12:15 and were seated quickly and our server arrived promptly thereafter. Our drink orders came quickly and we placed our order. We all knew we wanted burgers. I settled on the Estate Burger with fries. While waiting for our food, I had to go see the ladies room because people tell me it's cool. The sinks are cool! They look like car tires, and the spout is a gas pump handle. I had to think a little about how to turn the water on, but discovered a little lever and it worked. Very clever. My food arrived hot and was presented well. I had ordered medium well as I don't really like pink burgers and she told me it would have some pink, but it did have a little more than I liked. Usually medium well doesn't have pink. I need to remember that for future visits. The burger and all the toppings were tasty and the fries were seasoned well. One thing I heard here that I hadn't heard at other locations was an old fashioned car horn. We inquired on our way out, and they told us it was either a big tip, a birthday celebration or a child having some fun. Any reason was a good reason and added a little to our experience. read more

Menu full of deliciously described entrees -- chose the Black N Blue without bun and broccoli with lemon wedges and the Jiffy Burger (the primary reason of this 'peanut butter week' visit) sans bacon with fries. Selections cooked perfectly and served warm arrived within a reasonable period of time after order placed. Our server James (great customer-manner) was extremely patient since we had several questions regarding the menu; professional, courteous and knowledgeable of menu; provided excellent service and information as well as extra napkins (greatly needed) and attentive to customer needs -- would highly recommend! Both burgers were cooked medium (nicely pink) as recommended versus medium rare to perfection and tasty -- kudos to the cook (sorry, did not get a name). Totally enjoyed the Black N Bleu with broccoli & lemon wedge meal. The Jiffy burger includes peanut butter, choice of cheese, bacon (removed per customer preference), and lettuce on nicely grilled Brioche Bun. Great choice for the curious, challenging and adventuresome in new and different tastes (i.e., peanut butter). This is a terrific place. I was greeted by Kira and shown to my table. She was was so welcoming, she asked if it was my first time and if I was open to some menu suggestions. She also checked back with me later during my stay. My server Jailene was also excellent, very attentive and pleasant. The food was great, I had the Chicken Henry and it was delicious, tator tots and cole slaw as my sides. Everything was fresh, hot and cold as expected. My friend got the chicken sandwich and she felt like it lacked seasoning as well. She also felt the same way about her nachos. The sweet potato tots were amazing! Definitely made this 3 star worthy. I have been intrigued by this place for a while and finally was able to make it in for dinner. First and foremost, I want to point out how great the service was. I was greeted and sat immediately with my server Cami arriving quickly after. Cami was EXCELLENT. Being my first time here, she navigated me through the menu with some suggestions, and then she was attentive the whole meal, making sure I had what I needed. I started with the fried pickles and was expecting pickle slices, but they arrived as spears, which was fine. I am sure the menu described it that way, but I just read the header. The pickles were hot and fresh and had a crunch to every bite. The spicy sauce it is served with complimented the pickles very well. For my main course, I had the black and blue burger with tots. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium temperature and served on a pretzel bun. I will be honest and state I am not a fan of pretzel buns, but I wanted to try the burger anyway. The burger was juicy with the right amount of blue cheese that didn't overwhelm the flavor. The tots themselves were cooked crispy and had a good flavor and a nice crunch in every bite. There are several locations, so I would recommend trying them if you find one near. I would definitely recommend the Brandon location. I will be back as I want to try the brisket melt. read more

We went at lunch and they were out of several of the items we specifically went for - not sure what was up with that as it seemed to be a fairly easy item to get even with supply chain issues. Pros: 1) service was good 2) pretzel appetizer was delicious! beer cheese and honey mustard HIT! 3) French Onion Soup was pretty tasty Cons: 1) burgers were so heavily seasoned my taste buds went numb 2) chili was meaty and tasty but too spicy and $8.50 for what was probably 6oz is insane 3) creamed corn was literally corn (possibly canned) with milk, no seasoning at all. I sent it back it was that bad 4) Onion rings sounded amazing but I'm fairly certain they come in frozen because the onions were non existent and the breading was amazingly hard/firm even though there were chunks of breading missing (like what happens when they bounce around frozen in a bag). Family really wanted to try them again because we NEED a good burger in Brandon/Riverview but Ford's is NOT it. Sorry. read more

The decor is great, and the bathrooms are decorated so cool as well! The service is great, fast and efficient. Every waiter and waitress we've had here has been great. And their food is very good as well! My favorite burger is the Estate Burger (Smoked Gouda Cheese, Sweet Red Onion Marmalade, Arugula, Tomato, Fried Onion Straws, and White Truffle Bacon Aioli on a Brioche Bun). It is literally to DIE FOR!!!! The combination of flavors is exquisite. I could probably eat this burger ever single night. I dream of it!!!! read more
