We had started my son off in a different day care facility and he had a tough time adjusting - he would cry every day when we dropped him off. But when he started off at Childtime, the crying bouts stopped and in fact, he refused to come back home when it was time to pick him up! He really loved the teachers, staff and the kids here. We had to unfortunately move to a different state in a few months and leaving Childtime was the hardest thing we had to do. Its been over 5 months since we moved but my son (who is 3.5 years) still talks about his old school and his classmates from Childtime. The director (Ms Becky) and assistant director (Ms Nicole) were the best. They were extremely attentive and were very open to parent's needs. The teachers - Ms. Megan, Ms. Abby, Ms. Rachel and many others were extremely loving, kind and patient. The facilities were clean, with a large play ground and several toys. There were regular updates (with pics) from the teachers, several activities that kept your child intellectually and physically stimulated. Overall, it was a well rounded curriculum that made it a pleasant and enjoyable experience for the kids. We still love Childtime and really wish we could go back there.

We had our 5 month old child enrolled in their nursery program, we researched a lot of places in…read moreCanton and went with Kindercare because we liked what they had to say during walk through and Nicole was very helpful during orientation. Our child was enrolled for 5 week before we abruptly pulled him out of Kindercare 1st week the head teacher resigns with 2 week notice (they replaced her with another teacher who was a former assistant to the nursery and toddler classes) She was our childs teacher for 3 weeks Within that 5 weeks there was 4 Indecent reports that took place with our child. These reports are signed off on by teacher and Manager. 1) Child's neck was left wet throughout the day from milk and food, causing rash and reaction. We had to constantly remind teachers face to face and in writing to change child's big and or clothing and properly cloth 2) Child had 3 scratch marks on face, teachers didn't know how it happened and said child must have scratched face during nap time. 3) Child has noticeable scratch on left eye, teachers have no clue how it happened 4) Child left sitting on top of Boppy Pillow (Please note our child had only been working on sitting up for 1-2 weeks at this point, the teachers set him on top of the Boppy pillow (Not the horseshoe one, the full Circle Pillow, he falls forward off of pillow and hits face first on the ground, when i show up to pick him up, he has large lump and red mark on his forehead. I ask the teacher what happened and she says he fell forward sitting up and bonked his head on ground, I ask how hard he hit his head because he has a lump and abrasion, she reply's that its wasn't hard at all, at this point i let her know that I need to know how hard he hit his head because he is a baby and cannot tell me if he is hurt, she cant give me straight answer on if he hit hard or not. I ask if there is an incident report, she reply's that she was going to write-up one this evening and put it in his cubby in the morning. At this point you can imagine I am fuming, 5 month old with with lump on his head and teacher who cannot give me explanation of what happened, i just needed to get clear information because he clearly hit his head and i needed to know if i needed to take him to doctor or not. We all know that parenting is very tough and things can happen on a Kindercare has some good caring teachers, but when the safety of our child was in question we had no choice but to immediately pull him the school.

We provided extensive evaluations of our child from a psychologist and pediatrician and none of their recommendations were taken into consideration by the school or any leadership. As other families have stated, requests for more information about incidents were met with AI generated responses, canned responses, or no response at all. Requests for meetings with leadership went unanswered until I stated that we were seeking legal council. I went and toured the school and it appeared to be a great fit. But "all that glitters is not gold"!! The owner is nice and Admin/front desk people were always pleasant. But teachers were subpar to say the least. They were immature, unprofessional, don't know how to communicate and lacked compassion for the children. I even overheard on more than one occasion, a teacher yelling at the kids when picking up my child. Also, as a whole the school needs to communicate better when things are going on within the school. For example, whether it's announcement for picture day, spirit week, or illness has the potential to be spreading around the school. As parents we are busy heading to work,etc. and may not have the time to stop and read what's on the wall(s) of the school. In cases I mentioned above the school should be sending out emails to parents not just sheets of paper posted around the school. Because by the time a parent may have the time to slow down and read it maybe too late. All in all, this was my experience and believe there are better schools to choose from in the Plymouth-Canton area.
