This was absolutely the best child care experience we have had till date! I cannot say enough about…read morethe extremely kind and caring staff and the facilities at this location. We had started my son off in a different day care facility and he had a tough time adjusting - he would cry every day when we dropped him off. But when he started off at Childtime, the crying bouts stopped and in fact, he refused to come back home when it was time to pick him up! He really loved the teachers, staff and the kids here. We had to unfortunately move to a different state in a few months and leaving Childtime was the hardest thing we had to do. Its been over 5 months since we moved but my son (who is 3.5 years) still talks about his old school and his classmates from Childtime. The director (Ms Becky) and assistant director (Ms Nicole) were the best. They were extremely attentive and were very open to parent's needs. The teachers - Ms. Megan, Ms. Abby, Ms. Rachel and many others were extremely loving, kind and patient. The facilities were clean, with a large play ground and several toys. There were regular updates (with pics) from the teachers, several activities that kept your child intellectually and physically stimulated. Overall, it was a well rounded curriculum that made it a pleasant and enjoyable experience for the kids. We still love Childtime and really wish we could go back there.

My 3.5 year old daughter was admitted and we enrolled to start in the fall. We attended several…read moreevents, and she was beyond excited to have Ms. Shekar as her teacher. My daughter also has food allergies. During our tour and via email, the head of school, Julie confirmed that "I'm happy to provide as many protections in place as we can to keep xxx safe at school." However, when I followed up to confirm exactly what would be done and make firm plans, I received nothing but vague responses such as the above and then complete silence from 6/13 until 7/17 despite follow-up emails. When I finally received a response back on 7/17 within one day it was to my final email saying I wanted to unenroll due to not hearing back for so long and communication being key to managing her allergies at school. To be clear, I was asking for very reasonable accommodations, including: 1) Changing out the soap (the honey & milk Softsoap used has actual dairy in it) 2) Providing 10-15 minutes of education to the teachers on signs of anaphylaxis and administering her Auvi-Q using a tester 3) Understanding whether they would make the self-serve snack safe for her (this was offered on our tour and via email) or whether we would bring her own snacks in (which was perfectly fine with us) so that we could start preparing our daughter My daughter is in full-time preschool right now, so managing allergies at school is not new for us and has been done safely at her current school since she was an infant. To be very clear, food allergies are an ADA protected disability, and asking for 15 minutes of education and changing out soap at minimum is a very reasonable accommodation. The complete lack of response for weeks followed by a very quick response when I unenrolled tells me very clearly that Julie was worried about liability -or just did not want to deal with this. When I was exploring the school, I heard from five different sets parents who had left that the administration was horrible. Even at the end of year picnic I heard that from a parent who was leaving the school. And I naively disregarded that feedback because I figured how bad could it be, as long as the teacher was good the administration should have limited impact on her day-to-day education. I was obviously very wrong. The board also consists of the current head of school's two parents (one of whom was the prior head of school who many people also complained about), which makes me wonder how effective and unbiased it can possibly be. I shared the feedback above with some board members that I could not see an immediate blood relation to, and in fairness I was refunded my enrollment and application fees. That said, whether this was just horrible communication or blatant discrimination, the administration clearly is not effective and will have a bigger impact on day-to-day than anticipated so heed the advice of others and avoid!

Like other reviews state, the default solution for misbehavior is sending a student home. For working parents this is not always an option. When we chose this school for our child, we were told that his special needs were something they were able to handle. This was not our experience. Every slight misbehavior was a phone call home and a request to be picked up. This only reinforces the bad behavior and it continues. We provided extensive evaluations of our child from a psychologist and pediatrician and none of their recommendations were taken into consideration by the school or any leadership. As other families have stated, requests for more information about incidents were met with AI generated responses, canned responses, or no response at all. Requests for meetings with leadership went unanswered until I stated that we were seeking legal council. Our child was also unenrolled without warning after stating we had spoken to an attorney, which was clearly retaliatory. Please consider other options for your child

The head of the school is only concern with protocol and making sure the tuition is paid on time (which our was on time and before the due date). The teachers are nitpicky, with everything the children do. What they want are mindless robots. My son, witness the continuous mistreatment of a boy with Autism and these incidents were reported and nothing happened. I read another review from a parent, if the parent is not a teacher at the school than your child doesn't have a chance. My son was touched inappropriately by another student (younger) and I reported the incident and it happened again with not action taken by the administrator. Come to find out the problem child was a child of an administrator at the school so, I went to the Canton police and reported it... of course action was finally taken by the school. This wasn't the school for our family.

I rarely give out kudos because you have to really impress me before I do. I have been a part of…read morethe Paradigm family for over a year and I am giving kudos to them. First, this is a woman run business and it is run VERY well. The owner makes sure that she complied with all laws and rules and ensures that her staff does the same. I have never gone there and the center hasn't been clean, I am weird, I even looked in the bathroom when touring for the second time prior to going there to see if they really did clean. They were spotless and did not smell. The staff is very warm and inviting and they treat you as if you are their family. They are open with anything going on in the center, even if things may not directly affect you. The staff takes very good care of the children, they teach them in everything they do, whether it is pointing and saying what an object is or having their daily curriculum. ( they even do this at an infant level ) Since the pandemic, the owner and the staff have ramped up their cleaning, which is amazing because they were very meticulous prior to the pandemic. I was very scared as to whether if not I should send anyone to school and let me tell you, the Paradigm family stepped up even before the orders were issued by the governor. They wear masks, clean even more often, have masks at the front if someone outside of the Paradigm pod has to come into the building. They keep up on communication of new rules and practices they are implementing just to keep everyone informed and safe. I will continue to recommend Paradigm anyone that asks where they should send their children. Not just for the academic portion, but for the love they show every child. My little one loves it here and asks to go to shool multiple times a day and when we get there, barely says goodbye before running in ( they are just learning how to speak. ) everyday. If you are looking for a place where you can breathe not just during this pandemic but everyday, I highly recommend The Paradigm Family. I went and toured the school and it appeared to be a great fit. But "all that glitters is not gold"!! The owner is nice and Admin/front desk people were always pleasant. But teachers were subpar to say the least. They were immature, unprofessional, don't know how to communicate and lacked compassion for the children. I even overheard on more than one occasion, a teacher yelling at the kids when picking up my child. Also, as a whole the school needs to communicate better when things are going on within the school. For example, whether it's announcement for picture day, spirit week, or illness has the potential to be spreading around the school. As parents we are busy heading to work, etc. and may not have the time to stop and read what's on the wall(s) of the school. In cases I mentioned above the school should be sending out emails to parents not just sheets of paper posted around the school. Because by the time a parent may have the time to slow down and read it maybe too late. All in all, this was my experience and believe there are better schools to choose from in the Plymouth-Canton area.
