Eric arrived on time and performed both services in a timely fashion. The units were in decent shape, but the flush of the water heater proved the necessity of annual maintenance for enhancing the reliability of the critical systems. Eric explained everything he was doing and meticulously fine combed through both units. Due to Eric's continued excellence (this was the 3rd time he was here), I plan on maintaining the 'Comfort Club' annual plan with J.A. Bertsch.

I OK'd the service. When I received the invoice, I was shocked. I was charged $459 for the part. This seemed excessive as I am familiar with the prices of capacitors as I had recently purchased one for another project. I looked online for comparable part prices and found the average price for the exact part they replaced, was $150. So they charged me over $300 more for the part. This is definitely being ripped off! I called for an explanation and how I felt ripped off and they told me they are sorry I feel that way. I would not recommend this company unless you want want to over pay for a job.

By 5pm, still no show. Then both the service tech and their office stopped answering. Worst part: I just saw they didn't even pick up the water heater! Avoid their lies, time wasting and unprofessionalism. Looks like I lucked out by not having to deal with their 1 start installations.

Since we were on vacation and my daughter has a medical condition that she is supposed to be in an area under 72 degrees I said yes. The tech was out that afternoon and repaired it, but the bill was $650.01. I specifically asked for all the old/replaced parts be left for me. They were. After looking up the 2 small parts, neither one was over $40. I called them requesting, again, an invoice showing the parts and part #s. It has now been a week and I have still not received a reply. I'm about to call the WA state Attorney General, Consumer Affairs, and file a complaint.
