Wilmington is a town that doesn't lack for good pizza restaurants Wilmywoodie offers some of the…read morebest. Frequently spotted at places like Fermental and Wilmington Brewing company WIlmywoody offers amazing wood fired pizza from a food truck! They offer personal wood fired pizzas with four slices in a variety if fun topping combinations. Sure you can get a classic pepperoni and cheese but pies like the Two Beaches which has chicken, bacon, pesto, goat cheese and balsamic drizzle make you want to branch out and try something a little different. The quality of the pizzas they make is amazing but the speed in which they churn them out is cray. With a list of tickets that was about 20 deep I still had my two pies in 10 to 15 minutes which is impressive from a food truck. If you see this distinctive looking food truck stopped at a local brewery pulling grab a drInk and enjoy some of the best pizza Wilmington has to offer.

Visited WilmyWoodie at Mad Mole Brewing around 1:20pm on a Saturday. There was only one person in…read moreline. Ordered Wilson Fill-Ups and The River. The wood-fired pizzas are thin crust and are at least 11 inch size, as publicized. For normal-sized stomachs with a little hunger, one pizza will probably be enough, but if you're starving, probably should get two pizzas. They only provide pizzas on their menu. It would be nice if they offered sides, like garlic knots. The Wilson Fill-Ups is $14 and contains marina sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, small bacon bits, and Italian sausage. The River is a basic marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese and costs $10. Both were good and greasy. Each bite is a mouthful of warm stringy cheese. The outer crust was decent tasting-lightly sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The only complaint I have is the bottom of the crust was not cooked consistently. As you can see in the picture, one part of the crust is blackened, whereas the other part of the pizza is the opposite. Also, the Wilson-Fill Ups crust was crispy (slightly), but the River was not crispy. This could be explained by the River being cooked first and waiting for a few minutes in the box until The Wilson-Fill Ups was done cooking.

WilmyWoodie - You can never go wrong with the classic cheese and pepperoni...aka the ILM.

We tried this food truck at Good Hops Brewery. We ordered Tripleta, Burripleta, sides of Mofongo,…read moretostones, and papas locas. They gave us a pager buzzer to let us know when our food was ready. My partner enjoyed the Burripleta. The Tripleta was great, it's essentially the same as Burripleta, except it uses bread, not tortilla. They both come with roasted shredded pork, grilled chopped chicken, chopped ham slices, house sauce, and thin potato stick chips. The bread was 6 inches in size and it was so soft. The chicken and pork were very tender. The house sauce is like a remoulade sauce. I couldn't finish the whole sandwich but my partner finished his Burripleta and was full. The tostones were good too but I would have preferred it a little bit more crispy. The Mofongo was excellent. This was my second time trying Mofongo with the first time being in Atlanta, Georgia. The one in Atlanta pales in comparison to this Mofongo. It was so flavorful - a mound of mashed plantains with pieces of fresh roasted garlic. I didn't like the papas locas much so I would skip that next time. All in all, great Puerto Rican food!

Everything was tasty and filling. However, the sandwich was not pressed, as in a traditional Cuban Sandwich. I missed the crunch of a thin-pressed sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch.

We had this food truck cater to us at work, courtesy of a rep. The food was amazing, a 5/5! The…read moreonly downside was the customer service. It was confusing at first, because this lady was standing still, facing the front of the window where you order. I thought she was in the middle of ordering food so I waited behind her. It took a few minutes to realize this lady was actually working with the food truck and taking the food orders. She also was not very friendly when I asked her a question about the food. Anyway, back to the positive notes, the food! The menu was limited to tacos, fries and drinks (soda, sparkling water). I tried the fries and fried catfish tacos (2 tacos), which came with a crema sauce, coleslaw, lightly seasoned tortilla chips. There was a bottle of salsa, assuming homemade. The salsa was delicious. The catfish tasted so fresh, was tender, and was lightly fried. The thinly cut fries were great, reminded me of McDonald's fries. The whole meal was satisfying, but I wished appetizers were available. This is one of the best food trucks in town! (food, not customer service)
